Pizza Xpress is amazing! They’re food is great and fresh. Service is awesome and we use them for every event, they’re the best! The owner is awesome and super nice! You should definetly try them out, you won’t be sorry!

This pizza joint is amazingly good. Dough made from scratch fresh ingredients definitely much better than little ceasars. Place is very clean and staff is friendly and fast. The prices are great I recommend this pizza joint %100 to abyone.

Best tasting pizza I’ve had. Fresh tasty dough, the sauce has a really authentic taste. Service was good and the place is clean. Oh and the wings are a must, the sauce exploding with flavored. It’s cool that they always have some thing on special especially the Monday night deals.

Excellent pizza. Great prices. What is there to complain? Little ceasers might just have some competition. It’s hard to find a good pizza place that chargers $ 5 for a pizza. and if they do charge $ 5 the pizza doesn’t usually taste really good. But in this case…

I have been there several time. Pizza is really good. Clean and fast service. However, they need to work to improve their costumer service. I am not saying that they are rude, But it would be nice to greet your customers with a smile.

I call in to get a pick up order it was a girl that answer the phone I haven’t finish my order she hang up the phone she did even ask for the name not even the total of my Order that I was trying to get worst Customer service I have seen if she can’t do her job right there’s a lot of ppl in line waiting to do better job than her

The Pizza Nazis!!! My original review of Pizza Express was based on only 3 visits, and the pizza here is decent for a $ 5 pizza place. I have now had this pizza several more times. I’ve actually been there each Monday night for the past month because they advertise a Monday Night Special of 3.99 for the Large Pepperoni rather than the normal $ 5. These guys make a decent pizza, but in my humble opinion they definitely skimp on the cheese on the $ 5 special Pizza. But order it with extra cheese and it’s still only $ 7 & a reasonable 3 star pizza.
However there is a pricing/​discount issue that bothers me.
The first two Monday nights of October I got a pepperoni w extra cheese and was charged 3.99 + 1.75 extra cheese, and tax approx 55 cents = $ 6.34. But the past two visits I was told that if I order the pizza with extra cheese even though I’m already paying $ 1.75 extra for said extra cheese, I lose my Monday Night Special Discount. Therefore my cost went back to $ 5 for the pizza + 1.75 ex. cheese & approx 60 cents tax. But then they added an extra 50 cent charge that the clerks (Christian & another lady) said they couldn’t explain, but that if I wanted the pizza I had to pay the extra amount the computer told them to charge. I asked if they were OK with math, and asked them to do the math with me. We all did the math together, and it came out to what we all agreed was what I should be paying, but ultimately they said it didn’t matter if there was a reason for the extra charge or not, or if the extra charge made sense or not, that if I want the pizza, I’d have to pay what the computer asked. Which at this point was just a few cents under $ 8. I went ahead and paid the $ 8 & didn’t make a fuss because I figured it was a mistake & they just didn’t know how to deal with the computer issue. I continued to go on Monday nights for several more weeks and paid the extra $ beyond the advertised price. After a while when you voice a concern to the establishment managers, and they simply refuse to explain, or even bother to acknowledge what I felt was an unreasonable charge beyond what was advertised, you eventually get fed up! So this past Monday night I went one more time to see if maybe the previous weeks were a fluke, They weren’t! I asked for my money back & got the $ 7.99 three topping weekday deal at Pizza Hut a few blocks down the street.
I don’t hate Pizza Express. And I think the people are nice. But they need to have pricing policy that doesn’t change from week to week depending on who’s working the register. As well as a manager who cares enough about his patrons to take 30 seconds and explain the extra unadvertised charges. These managers don’t appear to give a hoot! And Pardon the Pun, but it’s a bit ‘Cheesy’ to offer a Monday Night Special for a dollar off, and to then say, «sorry, you lose your discount if you dare to spend even more money at my establishment.» Really? Seriously? You ever see Seinfeld? You guys are the Pizza Nazis. «What! You want to purchase extra cheese? No Discount for you!!!»

Friendly staff? Not a greeting or a smile no have a good day or thank you. Food is only as good as the customer service.

Was in EC for a meeting and thought «eh, I’ll give this joint a try.» It was only 5 bucks?! Pretty good pie too! Thanks Allen!

Soooo good and cheaper than most. Staff is always friendly as well:) my boyfriend and I get pizza from there at least once a week. Totally recommend this place

Unilocal is a service that is provided where we the consumers have a place to express our experiences with businesses to share with the world. Our experience may be good, or bad… either way, this is a place to share. I wrote a very honest and detailed experience that I had with this business. Their mistake cost me more than the cost of the pizza. On top of that it took them weeks to return my calls to discuss the issue. (AFTER I posted the above review, they did get back to me) The manager offered me 5 free pizzas. Had he gotten back to me when the problem happened instead of wks. later, I would have never written this review to start with. Now for the past several months the owner has been messaging me on my personal phone and through Unilocal asking me to take the review down. Here is the last message I received: «Please remove your Unilocal review it’s not cool!!! I gave you 5 free pizzas to make up for the unhappiness you experienced!!! I would never Unilocal you in a bad way.»
Like I said from the beginning, they have great pizza, but if you have a dead line, or are doing an event, you might want to think twice. I did not bash their quality of food, just their quality of service.
I know that if Unilocal found out that I was being harassed to remove my review they would not be happy.
So, again, this place has good cheap $ 5 pizza, it is better than any other $ 5 pizza I have ever had. But between the poor service when I ordered, the fact it took management weeks to get back to me, and the fact that I feel I am being harassed (against Unilocal rules) to remove my honest review… I have to say, I am sticking with the fact I am giving this business a bad review. PLEASE stop contacting me! It’s not cool!

This place is awesome I had the 5 dollar pizza cause it was ready to go and I was on the run… WoW the pizza was so fresh and tasty if I’m ever in the area I will stop by for a hot n fresh pie

First time going to pizza xpress Love the pepp well done one of their specials, can’t wait to try add’tl food items. Family loved it We will be back! And did I mention It’s only $ 5

Great Pizza. Horrible manager. We buy their pizza all the time for years and it is very tasty and a great deal for $ 5.00 or the combo for around $ 10.
Problem is that we have bought pizzas there on atleast 3 occassions in the last
2 – 3 months for gaterings and brought them about five minute away and they were
not hot at all and barely warm.
Each time (3)we called to speak to manager who they will say is not there but will call
you back (big joke) and in three calls to the manager in the past three months the person willl
never ever return a call and that is outright rude.
Kinda wondered why on two occassions women with young kids getting a pizzas for their parties actually open the box right there and proceeded to say something
quietly to the cashier and then the pizza were put back in the oven.
Great pizza folks but I think most people eat their pizza hot and not cold.
Also, the bread they sell you in the combo has shrunk in size to about half of what
it was and they need to tel you that upfront and not put the small bread in the same
big bag… Thats what you call deceiving.
I say try this pizza and you will like it but do not even think about thaking their
so called fresh pizza home until you open the box and see that its hot.

I love their pizza. Decided to try it because I was so hungry and needed something fast. Luckily they did have fresh pepperoni pizza at the time. All I can say is that for the price, their pizza tastes better than pizza hut or little caesars. I love the crust and don’t really mind the grease on the box because well, most pizzas have that. The guy who works in the afternoon is super nice and super friendly, always smiling. Great customer service. I think it’s worth it.
P. S. Btw, the supreme pizza is my favorite and… they have coupons :-)
