Payless Shoesource

First I called this store to place a pair of shoes on hold, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. So I hung up & tried calling back but now the line just keeps beeping. I have tried calling 29 times in one hour & have had no luck, just continues to beep. Hopefully the shoes will still be there for me to exchange the proper size by the time I make it in today. (This is the only location left with the size I need.) they get a bigs thumbs down.

So once upon a time there were some crazy adorable cobalt blue flats on sale for $ 10 and it was buy one get one half off… So I bought two pairs. NEVERMIND that they were a size too small. They were cute enough that I justified buying two pairs.
Cue three days later, nonono. My feet are so super mad at me. «They’ll stretch!» I said. Alas, they did not. «But they’re cute!» I said. And cute they were. «BUT THEY WERE ONLY TEN BUCKS!» But it was in vain. And I realized that I should probably just cut my losses and return the second pair so I would never have to endure this kind of foot torture again.
I rolled in and found a sweet pair of shoes in my actual size. The woman was really friendly even though there were an abnormal amount of people in there demanding both employees’ attention. I told her my sob story and laughed because I was wearing the uncomfortable first pair and asked if I could wear the new pair out. She looks and says, «Do you want to return those?»
What?! This girl! Took the shoes right off my feet and handed me some new, comfortable sparkly ones. I had no idea they returned worn shoes, let alone shoes I was wearing. I’m stoked. She also re-​applied my military discount so the amount I owed (new pair wasn’t on sale) was next to nothing.
Happy dance!

This was a pretty good store. They had a nice selection, but a lot of the boxes were jacked up — not too big of a deal unless you keep those things.

Don’t shop here if you expect customer service, do shop here if you want to hear the latest gossip of the workers. Went with a friend a while ago and they didn’t even say hello until we left. Not to mention the snide looks they were giving us as we walked in. Gross.

They have some cute shoes for infants and toddlers. It’s pretty hard to find sizes though. They have so little in stock.
I don’t even know why, its like there are so many babies out there. ahaha
But, the employees are very nice. They went an extra mile helping me, they called other Payless Shoe stores to find the shoe size that I needed and put them on hold ;]
