Love their creamy sour cream style quacamole rolled tacos. Beans are thick not runny like I like. Rice was okay though. I’ll be back. Rolled tacos are good.

Yet another taco shop checked off the old list! Very pleased with Ochoa’s, besides the fact that they sell Pepsi :/The owner is a very cool guy and service was fast and friendly. The burrito I ordered was decently priced and came with rice and beans. It was very good. Red salsa for the burrito was very flavorful and spicy! The dining area was well-kept and sanitary. Still had a few shady people inside but a low amount compared to other places I’ve been. I might be coming back here.

My boyfriend and I came here for a quick bite to eat tonight and this place was NOT very good. We ordered the carne asada fries and they were very disappointing. We opened up the container to see a thick, soupy mess of carne asada suspended in NACHOCHEESE. Seriously guys?! Nacho cheese?! Every fry was completely drenched with nacho cheese and it made it very unappetizing. There was a horrible ratio between the guacamole and beans and the wretched NACHOCHEESE. We were hoping for something a little better like sharp cheddar or a Mexican cheese mix. Anything else besides this! There was seriously just a huge sloppy pile of nacho cheese and the flavor was completely overwhelming. We gave them an extra star because we were hungry and did eat manage to eat about half of the container. And also their red salsa was actually VERYGOOD! Super spicy, but good and helped lessen some of the flavor of the nacho cheese. I can’t complain about the service though. They were very speedy with making the food and the cashier was very nice! But please Ochoas take the nacho cheese off of your carne asada fries! They will be much better without it!

So I came here to order a Manuel. What’s a Manuel you ask? It’s my take on the breakfast burrito. It contains eggs, bacon, carne asada, french fries, sour cream, beans and cheese.(Usually costs around $ 9 give or take, but well worth it) I suggest you try it next time you visit your local taco shop for breakfast! I’ve ordered this concoction at many a taco shop. Some prevail while others just don’t get it right. Ochoa’s got it right! DAMNRIGHT! The thing was a BEAST. Some taco shops skim on the ingredients to make everything fit, but not Ochoa’s! This monster was about the size of my forearm! The tortilla on the outside was nice and toasty just the way I like it. The ingredients were evenly disbursed throughout the burrito(I love a taco shop that does this). The taste of the burrito was spot on. DELICIOUS! I definitely recommend this place because it seems that they really care about their food and they way they prepare it.

I stopped in this place after getting a car wash a visit to a store next door. It was still morning so I ordered a machaca burrito. The burrito was of good size and came served on one of those good flour tortilla that leaves a slight butter texture in your mouth.( ) The burrito was pretty good and it would of been much better if the shredded beef was a little more juicier. The eggs were good and well seasoned and the onions and peppers were crisp.( ) Chopped tomatoes were the only thing missing. I tried both the red and green hot sauce. I liked them both, but I enjoyed the slight sourness of the green tomatillo base sauce better.( ) The red sauce was much hotter by the way. I have to say, that flour tortilla was great, and was probably the best part of the burrito. The place is open breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place was very clean when I visited and the employee who took my order was nice. Overall, for me an a-okay place to eat.

Love this place. Great food, amazing taste, and all for an unbeatable price. I’m very picky with food and this place made the cut. I will eat here way more often. It’s a real diamond in the rough.

Used to work in the area so came to this establishment a lot. My favorite thing by far on the menu is the shrimp quesadillas. Regular or diablo style, both are delicious. Their beans are really good too. I had several of their items and I’m not a big fan of their carne asada. I think their seafood items such as the fish tacos and shrimp quesadillas outshine their carne asada items. Good prices too.

I am going to start with 3 stars even though I would prefer to give 2.5 stars. I had a California burrito, this particular establishment does Carne, cheese, salsa fresca and potatoes, a good combination. The carne was pretty good for«boiled» carne. I am not a boiled carne fan but it wasn’t bad like it usually is. The red hot sauce was very good. The cashier seemed friendly enough and hustled up from the back to take my order.

I’ll keep this short and sweet and get to the point. I hate it when you walk into a taco shop and the workers/owner thinks theyre too good for you. Really cuz you own a taco shop doesnt mean poop to me. Dont treat me like a dumb white girl, just cuz I walk into your shop w/a few other whiteys. Don’t talk smack and act like non of us understand, when WEALLKNEWTHESH*T THATYOUWERETALKINYEAHYOUCASHIEROWNERGUY W/THE GLASSES Homeboy totally jacked up my order, really is it that hard to understand no Pico and May we have real shredded cheese instead of Nacho Cheese, charge me extra if you have too. Nacho Cheese, Not Real Cheese = Eek! Me thinks Not! So after being charged for another more expensive burrito and coming out with a half ass crappy carne asada burrito, which was yuck by the way, it was made clear to me that they didnt want us there. So we stayed, ate in their Mexican only shop. Will I ever go back here again, yeah thats a negative, but what else would you expect from a taco shop next to a Big Lots and Je Boutique. I would of been better off just buyn dinner from the kitchen inside of Food Land market! Live and learn, never eat here, you are wasting your $$ !!

The proximity to Big Lots and the local Beauty College was what started me going there. This is a pretty good taco shop. I have tried four or five different meals and each was pretty good. The item that sets Ochoa’s apart is their salsa: fabulous. Food is reasonably priced and the portions are large.

They say you can tell the quality of an ethnic restaurant if it is patronized by persons of that ethnicity. I don’t know about all that because this place had all sorts of Mexicans in it but it wasn’t anything better than Santana’s or Sombreros but they take credit and have pretty good food, so if you ever find yourself in this part of town(and its daylight) lock your doors and stop on by.
