Awe man I love this place! I didn’t know how to play pool very well and some of the patrons helped me. Bartenders were sweet and quick to help. Prices are super fair. I would recommend this place to anyone who just wants to drink and play pool.

Great local place. Actually one of the best billiards places I’ve found in SD. San Diego desperately needs more places with real tables. Solid tables and great space around them. But the pool cues are hurting. Went through at least 5 wonky ass cues before finding something mediocre. Staff is very good here. Drinks are average but good prices on pitchers. Cool they put UFC on the big screen. Love the name and shocked they don’t sell shirts. I’m rounding up because we had a good time.

Love nice Rack, celebrated my birthday there plenty of times. Live close by so I use to frequently go hang out for a little and play pool. By far my favorite bar in El Cajon. It’s been awhile since I’ve been there but definitely need to again go in the near future.

I love coming to this bar. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. It doesn’t hurt that they are hot. The owner is an amazing woman with a lot of experience. Great place to party. Great place to go.

The perfect pool hall vibe! Top of the line tables, drinks and the owner is legend for her sweetness and hard work. Fun place to hang out with some local color whether you are a shark or a hack! Enjoy!!!

I’ve only been to the Nice Rack a couple times. I like it… good vibe, nice bartenders, and plenty of convenient parking. Good place to stop to have a beer. And the owner is a real sweetheart!

first impression. Great place. bar tender is rude. this was our first time coming in to this place., we ask for a pitcher of beer and a pool table I gave him my card to pay. then I ask him to give it back he said his gonna keep it til we finish cause we might run and not gonna pay. I came in with my girl and a friend. Out of respect since my friend is with me I didn’t say anything to my friend til were on our way home. If it was just me and my girl, right there I would took my card back and flick my finger and look for different bar. If that happen in the past, that doesn’t give you the right to criticize everybody that comes in. Wonder why their not a lot of people at that time? Ask the bar tender.

My friend is a regular here so she invited me out. The staff were not nice, but I still got a couple drinks from the bar and hung out for a little while. The karaōke woman was very rude… I won’t be coming back. If you’re really interested in shooting pool, check out On Cue.

If you’re a military veteran looking for a place to chill or shoot pool just before leaving for another deployment, don’t waste your time coming here. Their security guy doesn’t dress professionally: A guy who was playing beer pong walked up to me and asked for my ID. Who plays beer pong while on duty? And they make you leave your bag by the door. I asked the bartender for a glass of water. The bartender repeated what I said and acted like I was crazy. Yes, people, not everyone who walks into a bar or a pool hall drinks alcohol. Some of us just like to chill and shoot pool. The unwelcoming bartender refused to serve me a glass of water. And I’m SOBER. So I left.

Been here a few times with my friends. It’s pretty big for a bar has lots of pool tables. We usually get a pitcher of Blue Moon and try to get the juke box thing to play our songs. Have played a few rounds of pool. Nice place to chill after a long work week.

I like this spot for pool and drinks. There are about 6 tables. Beer pong. And darts. The bartenders are nice and there is a jukebox to play your own tunes. It will get kinda busy on weekends but if I’m in East County and want to play some pool. Ill always go here.

Good staff. Nice tables. Adequate space. The power went out on us while we were here, but don’t worry, it isn’t a common occurrence. The staff handled the situation calmly and professional, and we all left a little bummed about the blackout… but happy it ended smoothly. Definitely coming back to shoot some more pool here

As far as pool goes… there are tables. As far as drinks goes… they have those too. As far as fun goes… definitely lack luster in this department. I’ve been a number of times and have never been impressed or wow’d or anything. Bartenders aren’t very friendly, the crowd is lacking something(maybe it is expected in east county…) It is decent for a place close to home to play pool but I can get a better vibe/service/fun at Main Tap down the street.

Excellent drink deals every night of the week and a very friendly staff. The lady who owns the place is commonly there and very approachable and obviously a hardworking decent woman. Lots of pool tables a big projector size television for the games and professional darts. Plenty of seating to include a large bar area plenty of tables and even a few couches. Highly recommended.

Such an awesome bar, great staff, great drink prices happy hour or not. Well maintenanced pool tables with pool tourneys every Friday night, great soft tip dartboards(best in San Diego). You can play people online from all over the world. You can even get a Dartslive card and keep stats from every game you play. They even have the highest payouts for their Dart Tournaments every sat night. If you love pool or darts or even just a cool hang out go to nice rack!

You know what type of people Nice Rack attracts? No, not people with nice racks(the majority of the patrons are dudes). This place attracts the type of people who«Dance like no-one’s watching… [and] Sing[s] like no-one’s listening.» Why? Because it’s two dollar drafts, all night long. And after twenty bucks, you won’t care if a random stranger licks your ear or tickles your zuzu either! And feel free to pass out here. This place reminds me of a basement of a frat house, where it’s okay to do so! The couches look like they were just stolen, there are pool tables everywhere, and even ping pong with paddles that look like they’re more for paddling asses than balls(ping pong balls, that is). But don’t order club soda. They’ll charge you $ 2.75 for that. Freaking nuts.

I was looking for a place where I can go play pool, have some beers, and unwind. I did think $ 9 bucks an hour is kind of too much for the place. Plus I’m kind of skeptical of the crowd here at night. There’s a good amount of tables, and over all if you’re just wanting to play pool solo or with some friends, It’s not to bad of a place to go.

I think the people going on about how shabby this place is are being very harsh. I mean it is a dive bar, but so what. The bartenders are very friendly and they make you smile. The only problem is they serve very weak dive bar drinks ! I think if they poured heavier a lot more people would go there. I seriously had 4 cranberry vodkas and a fireball shot and barely had a buzz. It was weird and made my experience a bit boring and disappointing.
