Navajo Barber Stylists

Great haircut from a super sweet lady. Call ahead for service because she is working at more than one location just to keep her little shop open for her loyal regulars. I’m military and love the straight razor shave.

Today, I drove to the usual hair saloon that I always go for a haircut. After I was told I had to wait 35 – 40 minutes, I decided to find another place. A quick online search and a quick drive later, I was standing in front of Navajo Barber Stylists.
This is an old school barber shop; make no mistake about it… Loydella told me that she has been in this same shop for 26 years (if I remember correctly. It is over two decades for sure.) I was apprehensive at first, but she took good care of me. She gave me a nice haircut while telling me about her life and asking questions about mine. Unlike the usual buzzcut I expected, I received what she referred to as an «ivy league» cut that I really liked.
I don’t ever write reviews, but I was moved to see this lady still working hard trying to keep her business going after all these years, and I prefer to see my hard earned money go to hard working people like her. So yeah… I got lucky today; I found my new barber. She welcomes walk-​in customers, but she is not there all the time due to her schedule. You are definitely better off giving her a call before showing up.

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Loydella for years. She does a great job. I’m ex-​military, and I like my hair short, but she can handle anything. I highly recommend her. My friend Bob had Loydella neatly trim his long hair for a Court appearance awhile back, and I truly think it helped him win his case, because he looked SHARP thanks to HER!

I’ve been going here to get my hair cut for the last ten years or so. I tried lots of places before that, and never got as consistently good results. I have even taken friends there, and they were pleased also. I have very fine hair, and less-​experienced stylists don’t do as good a job. Give Loydella a try!
