I decided to give this place a try, I drink a very simple drink. Amercaino, not much you can do to mess it up. The drink was good but was actually more expensive then the big chains. It was fine with me, support the small business. What I didn’t like was when I paid with my card they hand me an iPad with it open to tip and I’m told you can put in your tip here. I don’t tip for a drink over 3 dollars or any single drink… I just didn’t have any cash that day. I got a bit of a look… it was uncomfortable as I swiped left and just signed my name. Tip should never pop up! Your job is to make coffee, when you go above and beyond your job that is when a tip is appropriate. You shouldn’t get a tip just because you made a coffee. Pay cash!

In my opinion, one the top 3 lattes I have ever had. Absolutely PERFECT velvety foam. Good foam folks… is rare. It has to be made with love. I know because I have managed a couple shops in Frisco and San Diego… so I know it can be done, but it has to be done by someone who cares. The espresso used was rich, smoky, elegant. Not burnt. The croissant possessed an infinite number of layers, each one translucent and light. A buttery decadent treat, and appropriately sized, about the size of a deck of cards. I would rather have one small perfect croissant than a huge American size piece of bread that someone shaped into a croissant like pattern. Went back later to get my daughter a French Kiss(Italian soda with splash of cream) and she gave it a big thumbs up. Blackberry Vanilla. I took a sip an wanted to turn around and get one too… but I abstained. GO here!!!

Love this place! Best coffee in town and shopping. This is NOT a hurry up and get your coffee kind of place. It’s a place you want to sit with your coffee and enjoy. There is an antique shop as well that opens at 10 am!

This coffee is so good it’s ridiculous!!! My favorite is the vanilla latte with macadamia nut milk… it’s about a dollar extra but so worth it! Not too sweet & super creamy! And everyone is so friendly! Plus it’s a drive-thru! Enjoy!

I got an iced caramel something — latte, I think. It was Waaay too sweet. I went back in and got two extra shots poured in. It helped. If it wasnt for trying my friends drink, id give them a lower rating, but his was goood. Cant remember the exact drink, maybe a white mocha. Not too sweet at all.

I was so pleased to have stumbled upon this place! Wonderful coffee, wonderful food & a great ambience & outdoor patio! I was there for breakfast & highly recommend having the egg & cheese sandwich with sausage(served on s delicious buttery croissant) and a latte(which is artistically beautiful AND delicious). I can’t wait to go back for lunch and/or dinner too! It’s also attached to an antique store which is awesome too! Lastly, they have a drive-thru too, if you don’t have time to go inside! Wonderful find!

Cool little place. We’re from out of town and found it on Unilocal.Little hard to find from the street, not a lot of signage. Offered some unique drinks, like the vienesse(honey & cinnamon) espresso which is what I got and enjoyed. My wife got a blended vanilla chai with macadamia milk. She enjoyed it as well. Would go back again.

Great little local place, I hadn’t been in a few years, but it’s nice to have a non-Charbucks drive-thru option. Not too terribly expensive, good friendly service, great location, unique set-up/store. I’ll definitely be back!

What a cute discovery! I was in East County for work when an unexpected cancellation came up leaving me with two hours of free time. Being new in the area, I relied on Unilocal to help me find a local coffee shop to hang out/unwind/relax/meditate(whatever you call it). The search came up with this place and boy, am I glad I decided to check it out! When you get to the place, it’s okay to slightly panic and think that you’re in the wrong area. If you see an antique shop, it’s a good sign because the coffee shop is connected! As soon as you open the door and step in, you’re quickly transformed to a hybrid world where antique goods, good quality espresso machines, and iPads to swipe your credit card co-exist! I highly recommend grabbing a drink and exploring! I got an iced latte, served with the perfect amount of ice, milk, and caffeine(woohoo) and had a lovely conversation with the barista. Before I knew it, my time was up and I was back to work but I will definitely be back! More perks: — they serve food so fear not if your cravings go behind coffee and a pastry! — they also have a drive thru(YAY!) — credit cards are welcome so no worries about grabbing cash

Cute little coffee place. There is also an antique place inside you could check out if they are open. You could sit out in their patio which I prefer or inside where it’s not as quiet. I like that this place is never packed and mostly the locals in the area are who keeps them busy. If you order coffee to dine in then they serve it in these huge mugs. Their breakfast sandwiches are good, coffee is good and staff is friendly. We like to come here if we don’t want to be around the crowds that are at the more popular coffee places.

I don’t drink coffee regularly, its a treat for me; but when I do… I always get the [Spiced] Chai Latte with Almond Mylk… I’ve gotta tell you folks, this is one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. You can tell they make it with love and good ingredients. Prices are decent because I know i’m getting a good product. Inside(next door) there is the CUTEST little store so you can browse while you wait for your coffee. Note: they have a drive-thru which makes it even more convenient. Check it out!

Have you ever walked into a place and been thrown into utter comfortable confusion? Well this is that place. I’ve been coming here for some time now an always park on the back side of the building. As you walk into the creaky old building you are immediately greeted with antiques adorning the walls and old fashioned aromas decorating perfuming the air. Inside you’ll find multiple cramped rooms filled with knick-nacs and in the main room a coffee cart with a bench seat and three tables. The baristas are the most kind you’ll find while not the most knowledgable on coffees they’ll take every step to make your order right. The breakfast foods are simple but good. The coffees are fresh and filling while the ambience offers a quiet place to talk or play a game, maybe even read one of the many books to choose from. There is even an outside area with multiple tables in an enclosed patio like environment where hosted parties can take place. A quick hop off the freeway, a snappy left at the light and you’ll be transported into relaxville with your favorite ground bean.

Hidden gem! Not only great coffee that offers macadamilk(vegan gluten free) but that most precious little garden patio to enjoy a nice dining out with friends. And the ladies that work there offer the best service!

We just discovered this place right before moving out of East County, and I’m so sad it took us so long. This place is very cute with good coffee. The store it is attached to is quirky and interesting. The coffee shop has a nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends or studying. There isn’t a lot of options as far as coffee flavors, but those they have are all you really need.

By far the best coffee shop/drive thru in eastcounty. I miss coffee shops and this place uses the real espresso machines not the automatic ones which can burn your coffee. Love this place and they always give Lola(my terrier) a treat

Off the beaten path for most San Diegans, but not to be left out in the world of fermented beans, one can find this small coffee shop nestle inside a mercantile store, you will find this coffee shop brewing great coffee and putting together some appetizing breakfast sandwiches. I tried their house brew and one of their mini breakfast sandwiches with Canadian bacon and scrambled eggs mixed with pesto and topped with cheese on a flavorful sourdough mini bun( ). I have to say it was the perfect size little sammi to get the day start for under $ 5. The pesto and scrambled eggs were quite tasty, the Canadian ham savory, and the melted cheese gooey, the way it should be( ). The sourdough bun was very nice with its slight sour flavor and moist and chewiness. Great choice for this little sandwich. The Coffee was pretty good. It was strong and robust, but with a little bitterness towards the end. They may want to watch the water temperature. Service at this place is very friendly and welcoming. They have a drive thru as well and very good wi-fi for your internet needs. That little cookie served with the coffee is a nice touch.

Cute miniature coffeeshop. Good tea, comes with a little cookie. There was some classical/baroque music on and two nuns sitting at a table talking when I came in. I felt like I had traveled back in time. The lady at the cash register was so sweet! I loved her. I see a chess table if anyone wants to visit a café that caters to chess players :) I’ll back every time that I’m in the area. Next time, I won’t get lost in the store before finding the café. Basically, keep walking through the store and you’ll see an entrance to the café on your left.
