Good Samaritan Retirement Center

The Good Samaritan Retirement Center is an exquisite place full of love, happiness and simply family oriented. With the wonderful residents to the amazing staff, an energy of joy bursts in once walking through the doors. My grandmother who moved to San Diego from Michigan lived with my family and I for about a year. One day, we were visiting the beautiful chapel inside the center and my grandmother was in awe, first walking through the door then walking in the chapel. She fell in love and said she must live here; her words to be exact, «I’m in heaven». After that day and 5 years later, this place has become like home. Wonderful meals, fun and entertaining activities, spacious rooms, beautiful yard and scenery, great caregiving service, I’m not sure what else we can ask to simply have my grandmother live her life with smiles and laughs!

Great clean place for people to come and Retire. They have a great chapel inside and good meeting space for small groups. Always kind people around. You will also get the occasion wanderer walking into the meeting, but they are sweet older people and don’t mean no harm

My mother in law, who is a one of a kind wonderful woman, is getting the best care ever. The Good Samaritan center is the best place, happiest place and cleanest place I’ve ever seen. The employees are so caring and loving to all the residents. The residents are all very friendly and it’s like one big happy family. I recommend Good Samaritan to everyone I know who is looking for the best place for their loved ones. I give them an A+++. I forgot to mention all the great activities they do Monday thru Saturday, and the food another A +++. So don’t think twice if your looking for the best just go check it out you’ll be impressed.

My 98-​year-​old mother moved here a year ago, and we’ve been really happy to have found Good Samaritan. The facility is spacious and light, well-​kept-​up and clean. The caregiving has been thoughtful and attentive. We feel lucky that Mom gets to live here.
