Every Christmas we do an ornament exchange. It’s extremely difficult to find an ornament that’s just right. I called several locations for a hummingbird ornament and it just so happened that this store had one. The very nice lady over the phone went out of her way to look and see if they even had what I was looking for. When I arrived at their location she was extremely pleasant and happy that I was able to find what I was looking for.
I am pleased with the customer service, and I wish there where more places like this.

Good spot. Easy access. But while I was looking around for wrapping paper (making a brief phone call) this Debra interrupts my conversation and asks me if I was ready, to which I said «still looking thanks». She signaled me to the register and said to pay there. I’m not a caveman. This isn’t a library. Go to hell Debra.

I just received horrible customer service at this Hallmark location. I have lived in Rancho San Diego and been a customer here for many years and was just in there on my phone when the lady rudely came up to me and interrupted my conversation and asked me to keep my voice down when there were no customers in the store and I was not even talking loud. If that is how they treat their customers I will shop somewhere else now.

I love to shop at Elam’s Hallmark, the customer service is excellent. The manager Deborah is extreamly professional and very helpful selecting the perfect card for any occasion. The selection of gifts is bountiful. All of the clerks are knowledgeable of the inventory and helpful with the perfect card or gift selection. I highly recommend Elam’s Hallmark for all your gift needs.

Sometimes I wonder how these Hallmark stores stay in business but I guess there is a cult following of people who will buy precious moments & Christmas ornaments… so I guess that is how they stick around.
This is your typical Hallmark store with a fairly decent selection of cards and knick-​knacks you can buy your auntie for her birthday.
They are really nice and helpful in the store though… the lady behind the counter talked my ear off about… ornaments.
