I have to give this place a 3.5. The food was great tasting. I give them 4 stars for their rolled tacos and pollo asado taco, but the rice I had was unevenly cooked. I had uncooked pieces here in there, so I brought this down to 3 generously enough. The rice tasted good.( ) The side of rice was $ 2. The rolled tacos were reminiscent of what you will find down in Mexico.( ) The tortilla is thicker and had a good crunch on the outside and was on the chewier side on the inside. The beef was shredded and good. The guacamole was very good and especially fresh. I just wish there was more of it. The 3 rolled tacos cost $ 3. The pollo asado taco stole the show here.( ) Nice moist corn tortilla, grilled chicken, tasty fresh pico de gallo, and once again fresh guacamole. I liked it the most. The taco cost $ 2.75. The place is a little dark and basic. The furniture is very simple, so don’t expect much. There is a bar next to with an entrance that leads to the bar from the restaurant. There is a sign on the door that says«21 and over.» I arrived to early for their $ 1.25 street tacos which I hear are excellent. Maybe next time. The place is located right next door to 7-Eleven. I need more GUAC!

This is a review of the Street Taco setup not the restaurant. Want TJ style tacos but don’t want to cross the boarder? You’re in luck! I came across this outdoor BBQ grille taco stand on 25th and Broadway next to Pizza Luigi(I think) As soon as I walked up to the stand the cooks greeted me with a friendly smile and offered to let me try some of the 3 choices of meat they have. It was pretty tasty so I decided to get 2 tacos and I was not disappointed. It’s hard to write a detailed review of a small street taco stand so here are the things you need to know: 1) tacos are $ 1.50 with 3 choices of meat,(steak, chicken, pork) 2) They have a bunch of condiments you can add(onions, cheese, salsa, cilantro, limes, peppers) 3) cooked fresh on the grille right in front of your eyes. 4) very friendly service. Tacos were pretty tasty I’d give them 4 out of 5 sporks. Overall for the price and freshness you can’t beat this place. If you’re in the area stop by. These guys are out there every night after 6pm till about 10pm. Check it out!

Fantastic prices, beyond yummy food, great indoor seating, friendly staff… this is a great new place. We came here last weekend for their grand opening and ordered 10 of the dollar tacos and a carne asada plate and drinks and it came under $ 20 for the meal. We always order carne asada plates and we have never had a juicy carne asada come out where there is so much juice. Inside they have flat screens to watch the latest game as well as outside. They do catering as well.
