I probably would never have noticed this store while driving by in the car. But cruising along on my bicycle, I felt tempted to go inside. I was hoping to find a nautical «treasure chest». Among the great stuff in there (including 3 vintage Victrolas), I saw a nice steamer trunk with all the original hardware intact. Only the leather handles and primary lock were missing, and without the key you’d never lock it anyway. The attendant said «everything in this room is 25% off» so the $ 199 pricetag went down to $ 149 and with tax I got the treasure chest I was hoping for, for about $ 162. They helped me load it into my pickup truck when I returned a few hours later.
