In contrast to the review above — I got excellent service and paid a lot less this time than I paid the previous three independent contractors that I’ve hired in the past. (I think the difference was due to hiring the younger Joe Dunn Jr. versus the senior Joe Dunn who has medical issues). Many of my trees removed (5 cut down — some were 60 foot tall) and those trimmed (15+) involved cutting around power lines, above neighbor fences, and my wives’ favorite roses, and neighbor’s tropical plants, etc. They were very careful and had the talent to precisely drop cuttings where I wanted them to. In addition, they worked hard to clean up their work and even removed leaves from the gutters of my roof and my neighbor’s roof. They even helped my wife drain our small pond, etc. and hauled the ‘mess’ to the dump. Finally, they found a ‘charity’ (an adult school) to take the pecan hardwood for class projects.
I suggest doing what I did — I hired them by the day with the knowledge that there was a lot more work to be done so that they had the incentive to do outstanding work… Earl T. 5÷25÷2015
