We stayed at the hotel and had dinner and breakfast. The service was great at both meals. The dinner was great… both myself and my husband enjoyed our meal. Breakfast, however needs work. The menu, with four items, is way too small. I have never seen a breakfast menu with no cereal or fruit on it. I ordered Challah bread French toast. The bread did not appear to be challah… it was three very thin pieces of bread. This was a complete change from when we stayed there a couple of years ago.

We stayed at the Tuscany next door for our anniversary. We had dinner as well as breakfast at this restaurant and had an EXCELLENT time. The food was good. However, the service was extraordinary! The servers were warm, helpful, and very attentive. They really made our anniversary special(though nobody knew). We will definitely come here again. Love the romantic surrounding nature as well.

I’m hard to please and I loved it. My meal was fabulous. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The app was yummy too! We had the mozzarella and tomatoe! Delish! Nice atmosphere as well!

My mom and I came here after a tour of the Renault winery. We got a Groupon for it, so that in and of itself made this restaurant worth the money! We started off with a Caprese flatbread, which was very tasty. I had the chicken parm as my meal; the chicken was cooked perfectly and I have absolutely no complaints about it! My mom had the grilled eggplant tower. She said the eggplant was cooked very well and she definitely enjoyed it. We would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area!

We ate lunch at Joseph’s prior to doing the Renault Wine Tasting Tour(see separate review). We had a very nice waiter who made sure we had a nice experience. I know that place is popular for dinner and weddings also, hence the higher expectations. Our choice of white wine by the glass ended up on the non-Renault wine list with no regrets. Appetizer: Burrata– creamy and nicely presented Entrée: Shrimp & Crab Louie Salad Cobb Salad Both were very good. We didn’t have dessert in anticipation of a pending dinner elsewhere for that night. We were pleased with the food, service and convenience to the wine tour.

We stayed at the Tuscany House Hotel for 2 nights. Saturday we had lunch at Josephs and Saturday night we had dinner here. Both meals were really good. For Lunch we got the whipped ricotta brushcetta to start, I got chicken parm and my boyfriend had a very tasty chicken club. Dinner was meatballs to start(and we could not stop saying how good they were), pasta bolognese and Short rib dish. We planned on sharing both meals but we ended up just fighting of the short rib dish haha. It was truly amazing. It was served with egg noodles. we weren’t huge fans of the pork/beef in the bolognese sauce. Overall, great dinner and good drinks. Service was great. This place fills up for dinner!

My girlfriend and I went here for our 2nd anniversary. We stayed at the hotel kind of a mini trip as we are both from Philadelphia. First off it is not fine dinning but food was ok. We are both foodies and I know that it’s hard to impress us outside of a major city. But good enough for a winery. Now the bad the service was horrible. There were tables sat after us that finished desert before our entrees were served. The waiter disappeared for 20 minutes at a shot. At the end we had to walk up front and find someone to check us out as they couldn’t find our waiter either. This is the first time in my life I did not leave a tip. Service was a bad joke at best. Outside of that the winery is very nice and I love the blueberry champagne.

I’ve dined here several times and I can say it is one of the best places for«surf and turf» together with great service and a spacious dining room with nice ambiance, next to the vineyard and golf club. The seafood is very nicely done here. My parents were very pleased with the lobster here, I brought them for their anniversary. My wife also likes this place a lot. I would say it compares very well with AC restaurants and does quite well. Definitely under-rated, but make sure you go here for dinner to get the full menu! Lunch menu is OK but dinner menu has the best selection.

Food: Good. I really don’t know why there have been so many poor reviews on this place. 8 people. Food included fresh motz, mussels, cheese plate, shrimp and crab cocktail for starters. Surf n turf, rib eye, flounder, chicken Parmesan , carbonara for entrees. Caesar salads. Irish coffee and plenty of wine. My steak was prepared to order. It was very good. I was a thrown off at first because it was served with somewhat of a blue sauce but it worked really well. Service: we had 4 or so guys helping us. All very nice and all quite attentive. If my water glass was half empty, they filled it up every time which I appreciated. However, they simply did not know the menu. When I asked the waiter about the cheese plate, he didn’t know what cheese was what. If you really appreciate knowledgable staff, this place is not for you. Atmosphere: fine. It’s located in the hotel off the lobby and feels as such, but it’s fine. Spacious. Clean. Traditional. No problems for me. In order of importance for me, I want good food and good service in a clean environment. Misc: not going to blow you socks off, but good and enjoyable. I had a really nice time and would go back. Get the burgundy with the surf n turf and call it a night.

It took us an hour and 45 minutes to receive our mediocre entrees. The only reason this place merits 2 stars is that the manager tried to correct the problem. If an alternative exists, take it.

Th location is a bit remote but worth the drive, but Waze knows the best route. The setting is picturesque. Had dinner after the winery tour and tasting. The menu is varied with choices of appetizers, pasta, salads and entrees including meat and seafood.

I guess my boyfriend and I were really lucky on the day we had lunch because we really enjoyed our visit. We came to the restaurant on Saturday 4÷11÷15. I had a Groupon that was for the winery tour and tasting and Joseph’s restaurant. I believe the manager was the person to greet us and seat us. He was really friendly and attentive to us. We started with their ahi tuna which was SOGOOD. My boyfriend got the roast beef focaccia and I had the turkey beast sandwich. Both were really delicious and made like a «man sandwich.» I wouldn’t mind going back there if I went/stayed to the winery resort again.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel and stopped by here for some wine and apps. The wine was excellent. We aren’t experts by any means but what we tried was excellent. Their Burgundy was amazing which surprised me. We had the mussels and the sausage flatbread. The flatbread was good. Highly recommend it. The mussels in red sauce was ok at best. The mussels were a bit undercooked and it came out cold. Not cool… My biggest problem was the service. Backwaiters were good but the waiter took forever to stop by our table and it wasn’t packed at all. There were 5 other couples. After we ordered, it took a lifetime for him to come back and deliver our food. Getting our bill seemed to be another millennium. We didn’t go back to Joe’s the second night. Won’t go back if we stay down there again. Have Fun

For the amount that we spent on 4 people…($ 250). Ok, 4 glasses of ordinary wine was the only drinks. I would have expected a lot better. I agree with the other review here, $ 11 Calamari that was 50% calamari(Bland) and 50% hot pepper and tomato to make it look like calamari! Lamb chops(Lollipops) that were also bland. The chicken gumbo soup special was thick and salty. Food was just not good… and it was SLOW service. Atmosphere was nice. To be fair, I was only here 1 time so maybe it was an off night, but unfortunately we won’t be back for another try.

Sometimes things don’t get better the second time around. Yesterday was day two, my wife and I ordered the same exact breakfast as the previous day. Pancakes were a little better, but the omelette was still greasy and the home fries were extra crispy to the point of being black. All the ketchup bottles in our seating area were empty and dirty(see pic). The tables need to be covered with a tablecloth(see pic), plastic ketchup bottles need to go, and I’m not a big fan of having carpet in dining rooms.

I had a Groupon for this place… Otherwise, I wouldn’t have eaten here. For starters, the service was so slow. In fact, if there is another word that means slower than slow, then I would use it. Our lunch reservations was for 2:30pm and we didn’t leave out Until 4:45pm. What type of place takes this long outside of a steak house. I had one of the hamburgers that had crumbled bleu cheese and it was so dry. There wasn’t nothing to brag about here. The food was just mediocre, that I didn’t even take a picture of my food. Save your money and go elsewhere

Extremely disappointed on the condition of the place since our last visit 10 years ago. The restaurant was loud, the bench at the booth we sat at was covered in crumbs of some sort. The window frames had dirt and debris on them and what looked like pieces of paper from a straw. There are chips in the pain on the wall and what looks like a fly zapper on one wall, cleverly disguised as a wall sconce. Onto the food, not bad, it wasn’t as good as our last visit. I had the filet mignon and although it was cooked to my requested temp, I was surprised to see the gristle in the cuts… The braised beef rice balls for the appetizer was exceptional and the flourless chocolate tort was a nice desert… not mind blowing, but a good finish to the meal. The wine as expected was phenomenal, but that didn’t make up for the fact that the restaurant and the hotel for that matter, has become a little run down… just needs a refresh.

After such a wonderful wine tour we decided to try the restaurant on property and I was VERY disappointed. As a starter we ordered the fried calamari. When we noticed some of the squid was red and green we were intrigued. I kid you not, it was slices of fried green pepper and fried tomato. The overall calamari was flavorless and greasy. The burgers were suppose to be medium and came out a step beyond well-done(also known as hockey puck). The only thing that was good about this place was that the waitress was very nice and pleasant.

Came into Joseph’s after being part of the wine tour. We asked for a bottle of pink lady. Then we order food, food that took almost an hour to get to our table. The food tasted great which compensated for the long wait. We had the Pappardelle and the Shrimp and Crab Louie Renault.
