The pizza is always great. Brought my in-laws here one night because we had a coupon and now they want to come here anytime we do dinner. I always get pizza and garlic cheese bread which are always great. Love the cheese and use lots of toppings. Would definitely recommend and will of course be back. Also, the wait staff is always very friendly.

Sadly, we had a bad experience at one of our favorite pizzerias. While their message board advertised ½ priced appetizers every day, this«special» was not available until the following week, despite no mention of this on said board. The owner/manager was very condescending to my mother when she mentioned the unfairness of the advertisement. This was our last visit at Joe’s. Pantera’s and Alfonzo’s will be happy.

Pizza is always good and fresh. Side salad is good. Haven’t tried pasta or sandwiches. Closed on Mondays– only bad thing

Just had Joe’s for the first time today and it was delicious! Great pizza, I’m a fan of thin crust but I’m interested in the Chicago style as well! Awesome service and plenty of sports to watch!

I’m gluten-free and recently visited the area with family. On our first night, I checked Unilocal for places with GF pizza. I called here and they said that they had it so away we went! The GF pizza crust is a 10″ — i’m sure it is pre-made and purchased. It was very good though. My parents liked their pizza as well. The ambiance is pretty standard«pizza parlour.» Tables, chairs, and such were dirty but it’s clearly a busy place. It was good — not the best i’ve ever had, but a good place to go for quick, easy, and kid friendly.

Got delivery after a long and busy day in St. Louis. My husband and I really enjoyed The Greek and the kiddos liked their favorite pepperoni. Would definitely get this pizza again.

Even as a St. Louisan, I’ll admit, Chicago does the best pizza. Joe’s is one of the closest experiences to the real Chicago style I’ve seen in the area. Even if it doesn’t quite live up to the quality of the more famous places up there, they make a solid effort. I’d say if you want a Chicago style pizza experience in the Edwardsville area this is a decent place to check out. If the mood ever struck, I could see myself going back.

I used to regularly order their pizza for take out, as I have always liked their flavor. A few months back, I ordered a pizza with light cheese and extra sauce. They charged me extra for the additional sauce but didn’t discount my bill at all for the light cheese, which was a cost savings to them. There are other pizza places in the area that have good flavor and don’t do a double standard type of business with their customers. I just about never call them, anymore.

I could eat there Chicago style pizza all day! There’s nothing fancy and it looks like a hole in the wall from outside but so glad I ventured in

Ordered carry out in a Saturday night. Pizza and salad were good but they forgot one of our pizzas. We had to go back and pick it up but they did comp it for us. I think it’s pretty good pizza.

Never been there but order it a lot. Love the chicken parm sandwich. Pizza is good. Kids didn’t like it but me and the ol lady did.

Just got home from the worst service we’ve ever experienced at Joe’s. We’ve grown accustom to their slower service but tonight it took over 45 minutes to get our food, even when larger groups(we only had 2 in our party) that came in after us got their food before us! I hope their management takes their service reputation into consideration and comes up with a solution. Fortunately, the food is great, but I’m not sure it’s worth waiting that long for salad(chopped lettuce with 2 olives) and spaghetti.

I usually have high hopes for Joe’s, however I had not so great experience tonight. The waitress seemed like she was preoccupied. I ordered a pizza sub. When she brought my sandwich, it was barely warm, and the mushrooms was put on the sandwich the sandwich was«cooked». I hadn’t eaten half of my sandwich and the waitress was already asking for me to pay the bill. She wanted me to pay my bill so she could leave for the night. I know the owners of the Joe’s in Olney and Effingham. This Joe’s in Edwardsville is a spin-off of what I consider the ‘original Joe’s’ in Olney. The Trupiano family would be appalled with this type of customer service, and how their product is being served to customers. The only good thing about the meal was the breadsticks and the company I had joining me for dinner. I truly hope the manager(s) of the Joe’s in Edwardsville take a proactive approach in ensuring other customers do not have the same experience in the future.

Me and my girlfriend have been going to Joes for a while now. We try and make it a ritual every Wednesday because they have unlimited spaghetti, salad, and breadsticks for $ 14 something. Both of us can eat until we can’t eat anymore for less than $ 20! That is unheard of! Amazing place and always a great choice if you’re in the mood for some great pasta!

Big fan of the deep dish. Little pricey, but the fact that you can get all of the toppings you want makes up for it. The bread sticks with the cheese/marinara dipping sauce is great too. Like the atmosphere of the new place and all of the TVs. Only negative I have experienced is when I had pizza delivered it was cold and the sauce slid off on one side. So, I have carried out ever since which is a little inconvenient at times, but the result is worth it.

This is my favorite pizza place in town! I LOVE this pizza! Great new location, much larger dining area, and tons of TVs for watching the Cardinal’s games. I’ve always had excellent service and the menu has a wide variety of Italian favorites! Highly recommend.

Way above average pizza. Ingredients were fresh and sauce was especially good. Beer was a little pricey.

My first choice in value-priced takeout pizza: *Gluten-free crust available(10″ for $ 2 extra), which makes pizza night much easier for a group including someone who needs a gluten-free option. My Gluten-free Girl thought the crust might be from Udi’s; we don’t really know, but it tasted good, even for a wheat-eater like me. *Good topping options, including fresh tomatoes, chicken, anchovies, even shrimp. *The large salads contain enough for two or more people; we really like the antipasta and the Greek. *Service is friendly and fast, and orders are packaged neatly. I notice there’s an online ordering option, though I haven’t tried it. *College Dads like me can buy pizza for the spring breakers in the house, and still scrape together enough money for the next double tuition payment.

Great for delivery — I’ve never dined in but wow, they do a great pizza. I like their Chicago style best personally. Delivery times vary due to staffing but it is well worth it. Best pizza place in Edwardsville.

3d visit to Joe’s pizza. This time I tried something different — stuffed crust pizza. Their stuffed crust is not like the Pizza Hut style — it is more like a pizza with a crust on top and bottom. Awesome pizza! Lots of filling — especially cheese. And — it travels well since it has the crust on top for insulation. Boy, is it ever filling — I ate 2 slices and was done for. I think this might be my new favorite pizza!
