The American Legion Post 199 may not like the adjective, but «cute» is the descriptor that comes to mind when I think of this compact nine-​hole course just a few minutes drive south of E’ville’s downtown. If it weren’t for the sign, you’d never know it was there, across the street and up the hill from Lincoln Middle and Woodland Elementary Schools, bounded by the «Grandview» subdivision to the east and just woods and a bike path away from the «Esic» subdivision to the south. Some on-​site memorabilia reminds you that the Legion has sponsored some mean baseball teams, too.

Playing in 30 degree weather is not.
