Went in here to sell and was told it was appointment only. Would be nice if there was a sign in front. Lady I spoke with also made a point of saying they weren’t Platos closet when I asked for clarification regarding her statement about not paying on spot. This came across as rude to me. Oh well I wouldn’t want to do business with someone who doesn’t pay me for items up front. The store looks nice but inside is super empty on a Saturday which doesn’t bode well for business. Will be going elsewhere.

This place has just undergone an ownership change and is a completely different store – it has radically changed for the better! The store has gotten a major face lift: The interior has been newly painted and decorated into a more airy, modern, very hip décor. It has a completely different feel. It’s fun to be in! I and two of my friends were in there a long time because there were so many cute designer label things to look at and try on. New owner Heather is very friendly, cheerful, outgoing and willing to help and answer any questions. Her prices are the lowest of all the local designer consignment stores, for the same level of quality – we were all really impressed! Each of us walked out with multiple items – pretty good haul for any shopping excursion, let alone a consignment store. I highly recommend it as the best new treasure in cute downtown Edmonds!

Ok selection of items. A lot of jackets. Prices are okay. I didn’t see anything that I was really crazy about but i will stop by again at some point. You might want to call before visiting otherwise you might find it closed even though you visit during the hours listed as open.

I have consigned items here a few times now: both times the owner or worker of the store was cold and snooty. not helpful at all. I hate it especially when older people do not give good customer service. They should know better.

Great shop! Quality merchandise displayed very nicely. Owner, Donna, is very friendly and knowledgable. As a previous reviewer said, this shop s a real gem.

I am not a negative person, nor do I like to give poor ratings easily, especially for small business. But I look really young for my age(almost 30) but I got the feeling she didn’t heed my presence so much because she thought I wasn’t older… as in… worthy of her attention or respect. She took forever to even greet me, then did so in a really cold way. Even if I were very young, people are worthy of being acknowledged & being kind to. Not only was she cold and unfriendly… I don’t even think she cracked a smile, nor instigated any conversation or offer of help, but her items were so over priced it was laughable. I am a stylist by profession, & I shop consignment mainly. I know what things are worth, and $ 45 for a used jacket that doesn’t even have a style that warrants that price, that’s a rip off. Someone on here said you’d like the items if you were over 30… I think the items looked more dowdy than that. Maybe 20% of the items were cute, but you could get better deals on the same styles at Ross or Marshalls for a much lower priced UN-used.

I’ve found some wonderful gems at this great consignment shop: purses, clothing and boots. I enjoy popping in whenever I’m in Edmonds. The owner is friendly and very selective. She has a wonderful eye for quality and style. The shop is spacious, clean and well thought out, with nice dressing rooms and space to sit and try on shoes. I’ve consigned here too, with good results and only positive experiences. The prices are very fair. Yesterday’s has been my favorite consignment shop for years. I haven’t found any in Seattle or on the Eastside that I like as well as this shop.

I’ve been shopping and selling at Yesterdays since the 80’s(OMG I’m old), for me then, it was a great place to buy gently used clothes to get me through post baby body recovery. It opened me up to the magic of clothing consignment. I really like the Edmonds location, better then the old Lynnwood one. The shop is not overcrowded like some consignment shops. My teenage daughter says the clothes are cute if you’re over 30(Old in her mind) and I would have to agree. It’s nice to find upscale brands at such great prices. Donna is very picky about the clothes she takes in, so everything is in great condition. Great selection of shoes and accessories also. She usually has a great selection of evening wear. My favorite thing… the treasure hunt. The last time I showed up, there were racks and racks of NWT salesman samples. Score! As far as selling, I have nothing but good things to say. Like I said above the owner is very picky about what she’ll take. The clothes have to be cleaned, pressed and on hangers. They also can’t be more than 2 years old. I’ve some bad experiences with consignment selling at other shops, but never here. The only problem I have… when I drop off my clothes, I say to myself«you don’t need anymore clothes, so just selling today, no buying» I always fail. I am such a clothing whore.

I always buy too much when I stop in this shop. Women’s clothes, jewelry, shoes, purses.

Lots of great consignment choices, from casual, athletic to swanky. Emphasis on the 30’s age group and up. And the store does not have that musty, olé smell some places do. The store personnel also gives you a friendly, wide berth — no pressure. I swear… someone comes in just before me and drops off some great, up-to-date fashions that fits my size. Usually cheaper prices than the city. Timin’s everything at consignment stores. Yesterday’s moved to downtown Edmonds to a cool place, on 5th Ave… one block up the hill from Petosa’s Grocery.
