Small, clean & good fare for a quick lunch. Prices average for lunch; portions generous. Had the chicken teriyaki bowl. Chicken is typical, nothing outstanding, fried rice VERY good &VERYFRESH! Pleasant & friendly woman running front of restaurant. Looks like a young female chef in back.

It’s a good place with better food than the teriyaki place on the other side of the road. I live within walking distance and it is great to be able to call in an order, walk over to get it and be back before halftime is over.

Wtf is this shit?! This place used to have free soup with the lunch special. No more soup. No Sriracha sauce. No teriyaki sauce. No gyoza sauce with my order of gyozas. Soon the tea and water are going to be gone too. HORSESHIT!

Lots of menu selections to choose from that’s not just teriyaki dishes. Located in the shopping place of TJ MAxx, Safeway, etc so there’s plenty of parking. They have a lunch special til 2pm. Quick service. Good food. Pics on Instagram @amanda.n_

Meh, thse folks are nice enough but here’s the weird part– often times what’s on the menu isn’t available and they actually seem to be coveting their napkins and red chili sauce behind the counter, rather than leaving these things out in case you would like to spice it up, or if you’re like me, and usually need 2 of the thin cheap napkins. Oh, and the food is only so-so.

I always order«to go» just because the place is too small for my comfort. It is a fast food place and my lunch time is limited. Anywho… my favorite here is the«Beef /YakiUdon combo». They always get my order right, the front person is always pleasant. This place is well maintained to cleanliness. I recommend this place because they are fast, they have many choices to choose from, and I could order in advance. On the flipside, they don’t have a menu on-line. My co-worker searched several sites to see if posted somewhere else but-No. I informed the business once I got there and they did not seem too concerned whether they have a menu on-line or not. Oh well… I thought I was giving a positive input. However, it’s still my favorite place here in Edmonds. Check it out…

A nice family-owned shop located in a plaza along with Safeway, Dollar Tree, TJ Maxx etc in Edmonds on Hwy 99⁄236th St SW. Quick and cheap teriyaki, just how I like it. The food is fresh and the meat always cooked well, never burnt or dry. I’ve been coming here for the past 6 – 7 years and I am always satisfied!

Love the spicy chicken teriyaki. Great consistent quality, and family run atmosphere.

I’ve been going to this place for lots of time, since it is near my place. I usually get regular teriyaki but nowadays i like to change it up. I ordered general tso, which was too greasy and sooo salty! I dont want to order their general tso ever again. But yesterday i ordered their sweet and sour chicken, and dang it tastes soooo good! I like the breading and the sauce. Their teriyaki is also good, its very flavorful. The service is okay, i always wait around 20 minutes’ish for the food. The place is not comfortable tho, they should change their design and make it more comfortable for people to eat there. I usually order to go because i dont like their sitting areas. Looks gross :/

The service was pleasant but the food was so salty I couldn’t enjoy it. On to the next place

The man working the counter was nice but I waited 45 minutes for an order of not good food(chicken and yakisoba). My wife was served after a 30 minute wait. Her chicken and fried rice was also not good. The store was empty when we entered, two different people came and left while we waited. I ended up getting my food to go as my wife was done eating her bland meal. Too many options in the area to try this place again.

I would give it 2 stars but the katsu I had was very good along with their katsu sauce. Terriyaki sauce was not great and the portion of chicken I got for $ 10 was ridiculously small. Literally one strip and they charge a whole $ 2 for brown rice as compared to .50 cents to a $ 1 max at others that layer their meat. Very disappointed at the lack of selection and effort. I mentioned it was my first time coming in cause I heard good things which was right because the food itself is great just how much u get with how much it costs was a let down. They weren’t very determined to appease the customer I feel. You would think with a to-go order you would get a few or at least 1 sauce but its 25cents. Rip off unless you like to go broke ordering good food there’s many other spots in the area that are much better and have better selection/price like the terriyaki place on lake ballinger way. At least they have bubble tea.

Consistently tasty teriyaki and katsu from the polite and friendly staff. Complementary chicken soup while you are waiting is a bonus that my kids really enjoy. The food is fresh and cooked quickly.

We frequent this teriyaki place a lot. Mostly for their $ 5.99 chicken and fried rice bowl. Cheap and delicious, decent customer service. A typical hole-in-the-wall kinda place. They have punch cards that you can use even with the cheap lunch menu items, but when the punch card is full, it can only be redeemed for $ 5 off your next purchase. They for some reason will not let you combine cards? We forget our punch cards a lot, so not awesome for us. Best cheap teriyaki we’ve found in the area so far over all.

My first impression of this place is one of no hospitality by their sign on the front door saying NOPUBLICRESTROOM. I walked in for the first time excited to try a new teriyaki place. I was disappointed because their spicy chicken teriyaki was over a dollar more than the regular chicken teriyaki. Spicy chicken is always my first choice but since it was so much more I decided to go with the regular chicken teriyaki. There was soup but no bowls for it. The complimentary tea was good. The chicken was good but the sauce was too sweet. Cloyingly sweet, to be exact. The amount of rice, chicken and salad was less than what I’d expect for a teriyaki place with these prices. This is also one of the few teriyaki restaurants that did not have even one bottle of Sriracha for customer use. The food didn’t wow me and also didn’t disappoint. For me, this was about 2.5 stars… below average. The young woman at the front was friendly.

I had chicken teriyaki and Katsu combo at this place(more than a lot), and it was well cooked, each time. The employees can get over excited, I think that’s a good thing. It’s always clean and it’s spacious for a family outing, and cool. It seems as if their employees are seasonal or temps… there’s always a new face behind the counter. That isn’t an issue to me, because those behind the counter aren’t the ones preparing my food. They offer speedy service. I recently noticed an increase in the amount of food served compared to the past. I thought that was cool.

I am not a huge teriyaki expert but I must say this one of the better teriyaki places in the puget sound area. I got the teriyaki chicken and yakisoba noodle combo. The chicken: the chicken was well cooked, they were sliced too thin in my opinion, but very flavorful and juicy. The noodle: the yakisoba noodle was the best part of my meal. Service: the service was quick! my food was made to order but only waited 5 mins.

HORRIBLE Probably the worst teriyaki I have ever had. Food was cold, my yakisoba was super dry(I had to ask for extra teriyaki sauce to put on it, which I was charged for). This places is awful. I recommend you save your money and just try somewhere else nearby. CONS: Waste of money
