The curly haired lady is the worst– attempt avoiding her. The shorter blonde haired lady is awesome though. It seems to be kind of hit and miss with this place.

Omg, LOVE this place! Right inside the IGA, so I can multitask. Only one other person in line, and the lady was super nice! I don’t know what everyone else is talking about… maybe I got a different woman? Had a super pleasant conversation while she hooked me up with my tabs, and the whole thing was so quick, I even had time to grab a cup of lobster bisque and some naan before I hustled off to work. This is the place!

It’s amusing to read the comments about the «Licence Nazi». I’ve been using her service for over 20 years and the reception can be a little bit course at times. It’s a convenient location though so I try to emulate George Costanza standing neatly in line at attention until it’s my turn. One has to; otherwise it’s, «NO LICENCE FOR YOU!!»

I have been here dozens of times over the past several years, and other agencies as well, and find the people here much more efficient and knowledgeable than at the other places. I have never had them be rude to me, but I don’t expect it to be a trip to a Red Robin’s. They have to act as a liaison between a revenue collecting government agency and the taxpayer, so I expect they get a lot of grief from both sides, all day. I think they do a great job, and make a necessary chore a lot more bearable.

The woman who is usually here is very knowledgeable. i bought a car from a dealer and they totally screwed up the paperwork. This lady fixed it for me quickly and easily. Rarely have to wait in line.
I dont understand the complaints about rudeness-​have never had a problem here.

very unprofessional and rude. if u want to see a temper tantrum, come to this place. if you don’t want to deal with psychotic behavior, try other licensing places around the area.

If you don’t want to wait in a line forever to get new plates, or tabs, then this is the place to go! They are instant, and the location is great! As far as the lady working there, she sells tabs and plates all day, and probably takes a lot of crap. Who cares if she’s not smiling?! The point is to get tabs quick right?

Ok yes I can agree that either of the women here sometimes (I had to go three times already) seem as though they have a «chip» on their shoulder for no reason… However — I am sure they get people angry at them & that can be taxing on one’s attitude.
Anyways…The location is totally convenient & the lines are nearly nonexistant. What more could you ask for? Maybe I’m just jaded because in Chicago we had lines for.like.everything? I don’t know but a line or 5 minute wait is nothing to me.
I even called back to this location for an explanation of «other» charges on my receipt & the lady was nice and pleasant when helping me understand the charges. To me — that TOTALLY makes up for the rude in person experience. If I was in Chicago they would not have even answered the phone!

I came here to get my new tabs because it is close to my house. NEVER AGAIN! The woman left me standing at the window for a good 5 minutes while she was on a personal call. She put the phone down to «help» me (if you can call it that). The transaction didn’t even take half the time as my wait did. I’ll be getting my tabs somewhere else from now on…

It’s 3 minutes away from my place, which is the only reason I’ve come here for my plates, then my tabs. The lady is incredibly rude for no reason, every single time — I’ve also asked other friends who have done business here, and it seems like the lady’s attitude is consistently sour. I’ll be going elsewhere for my auto licensing needs, thank you very much.
