Great little find! Glad I didn’t read all the reviews. Our sandwiches were freshly made and amazing. The service was very friendly. We came in for the NY cannoli, and left with a little café we will definitely return to.

Very spacious very quiet and a great place to study! It looks super fancy outside so I never walked in here till now but I order a plain green salad and it turned out to be huge! And delicious, it wasn’t anything crazy but it was a great salad. The only reason I wouldn’t give this place five stars is because The service was alright not really that friendly.

We were traveling through the state of Washington on vacation and we have a lot of good things to say about the service of everywhere except for this place. We were received grudgingly after a wait with no one in front of us, and a woman who entered after us was greeted with a squeal and hug before we were even talked to. I then made my order of a desert and sat at a window seat. We then discovered that the in house saxophone musician was playing extremely loud in this space when he began again after a break and I’m a young person. After about twenty minutes of waiting I walked back up to the counter(thankfully the loud«muzak» was done at that point) and I proceeded to wait another couple of minutes while I saw people who ordered after me getting prompt service. When I finally was able to ask about my order they said hurriedly«oh no, it looks like we forgot!» And then no apology. I made my way back to my seat and waited five more minutes before they brought out the desert. In the meantime before they brought it out some loud spice girl music started playing. Again very loud. And a makeshift fashion show started. The best thing I have to say about this experience is that some of the dresses were very pretty but that is in no way associated with the café louvre. There’s a Starbucks around the corner.

The owner is SUPER sweet. She makes great coffee and they have most all flavors. Lots of seating and tables outside too. Baristas here are generally nice and they have good snacks and desserts. Love this place :)

today was my first time coming to this café in downtown edmonds. i went in with high hopes of finding a new great coffee place. i liked the warm interior decorations, the few comfy chairs, and the fireplace, which i can imagine really enjoying on a cold drizzly day. but the person who took my order quickly dampened my friendly enthusiasm with her chilly reception. still willing to give the place a chance, i took a seat at a table. however, my latte was so hot that the mlk separated and took forever to cool down enough to drink. i didn’t bother asking them to remake my drink. i decided it wasn’t worth another unpleasant interaction. who knows? maybe I’ll give this place a second shot someday. but pcc is so close with their less expensive lattes and super friendly baristas, so i seriously doubt it.

Prosciutto sandwich is simple and tasty. Tall Americano extremely strong. Service is ok. Like the atmosphere

Gals behind the counter were great! The atmosphere was very fun and sophisticated! But the coffee I had was awful. The coffee my friend had was awful. It was as if they had burned the coffee, my mocha tasted like chicken noodle soup. We were very disappointed with the coffee, BUT they do claim to have fresh cannoli there, so I’ll be making a trek back for the treats.

My favorite coffee and tea shop in Edmonds. Excellent atmosphere. Good pastries including gluten free selections.

I went to this coffee shop twice while visiting Edmonds. First time, staff was friendly and helpful. Today, my coffee was served in a paper cup instead of requested mug. No apology, but mug was supplied. When friend went to inquire as to status of her tea, the server had forgotten. It was served with no apology nor acknowledgement of the thanks given by my friend – unfriendly server with limited manners is unacceptable.

I like their sandwiches but the service is lacking. On a recent visit their credit card system was down and thus I could not buy coffee or food. I asked if I could get a coffee on the house since I didn’t have cash, only credit cards. I was declined. I decided to stay and work on my computer and drink water. The waiter comes later to my table and hands me a latte(what I had ordered originally) I was about to thank him when he took it away and said that he got confused and gave the drink to someone else. I was not happy. I was a regular here as I liked the location but there are better and friendlier locations nearby.

Great smiling service, of course all I do is smile so people generally can’t help themselves. Also GLUTENFREEFRESHLYMADE and FRESHLYGRILLED sandwiches! I had a vegetarian eggplant sandwich on the GF bread. …mmmmmm! Not to mention a Fan-freakin-tastic GF biscuit with jam that so delicious! Service was outstanding too! Of course I tip well! :-)

Snooty and Lousy Service If you’re looking for a smiling friendly face, try the other local coffee shops. There are a couple in the area and you’ll get much better service and products at the other stores. Starbucks is just around the corner from this place and it is a lively, fun, friendly, and a cozy hangout place. SERVICE I’m always surprised to find people with absolutely no social skills, customer services skills, or genuine interest in people, running and working in the hospitality industry. There was a middle-aged blonde lady and a very young brunette lady working behind the counter. Probably mother and daughter, but they were quite the opposite. The young lady was acting as the barista and was cheerful and bubbly, while the older lady who took our order obviously didn’t enjoy what she was doing. She didn’t greet us until we offered a greeting, she never smiled, or made eye contact. While taking our order she just seemed impatient and preoccupied as though having to take our order and serving her paying customers was an inconvenience. Because she looked preoccupied, I purposefully gave her my order slowly and clearly. It didn’t help! She missed my order and looked extremely annoyed at me. So, I repeated my order again. She wasn’t rude, but she sure was grumpy and impatient. Not the kind of vibe you want to be emitting at a «friendly, welcoming, and warm» coffee shop. Anyway, we placed our order and it was served very quickly by the cheerful young lady. We’d ordered some pastries and some hot drinks. My pastry was cold so I went back to get it heated, which the young lady was happy to take care of. When the timer went off on the microwave, the older lady grabbed my pastry and handed it to me without looking at me or saying anything. She was literally looking in the opposite direction while handing me the pastry. It almost felt as though she was tossing a bone to a dog. Now that was rude! I couldn’t believe how ill-mannered this lady was. I thought it was just me, but apparently she treated several other customers similarly. FOOD I had the blueberry muffin and it was truly uneventful. It was cold, dry, and certainly not fresh. My wife had a muffin and enjoyed that. COFFEE I got the hot mocha and that was pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. AMBIANCE This is evidently the local senior citizen breakfast hangout place. Walking in the place looked cozy and the colors are certainly warm and inviting. The furniture ensemble was a bit weird. They were a mishmash of wooden chairs, cheap metal chairs, and heavy banquet chairs, plus a few comfortable sofas by a fire place that was turned off despite the fact that it was 57 °F this morning and the A/C was on in the café. It would’ve been nice if they’d had it on until 10 or 11AM. I don’t think there’s much wrong with the place except for the attitude of some of the people that work there.

Good location, the best coffee, Café Umbria, warm and cozy inside. If they had more food, I always need food, then I would have given them 5 stars. Nice staff.

I have been frequenting Café’ Louvre since moving to Edmonds last summer. It has a warm, relaxing atmosphere, good coffee and surprisingly good sandwiches. Have not tried the pastries as I typically visit after working out down the street. Also enjoy the fact they make the Seattle and New York Times available at no cost. One notable downside is that the staff seem a bit too reserved for my taste. Rarely do they engage other than to take your order. Given this is a gathering place for the locals perhaps they could make an effort to engage just a little more.

This is probably one of the best coffee spots in North end. Here’s why… 1) Manager/Owner, Baristas. All amazingly friendly and kind. I felt right at home even though it was my first time here. 2) In the words of my husband, the croissants are«hella good.» We had the croissant with egg/provolone cheese and the croissant with just provolone cheese. Both were cooked to perfection. It left you wanting more. 3) Even though it was Saturday and extremely packed, we were still able to find a table by the window. 4) Warm and comfortable atmosphere. Really cute fireplace. 5) Free 3 hour parking outside. 6) Free wifi. You can hang out here as long as you want. 7) Prices were good for the coffee based on the size. Good beans too. Definitely a neighborhood spot, where you just love sitting in here anticipating Christmas is coming! I would recommend this place.

Manager, Haifa, has created a wonderful Coffee House space for Edmonds. The lattes are outstanding and the dessert display case is full of delectable treats. We had the cannoli and the chocolate chocole cake to compliment our warm and delicious drinks. With a wonderful visit from Haifa, we enjoyed our treats and drinks in this warm and relaxing use of space. Whether it’s for a wake up call, a relaxing afternoon break or a delicious end to our day Café’ Louvre is a must stop when visiting Edmonds!

The coffee is not good. On a positive note there is lots of room to sit and the service is good. If there weren’t 4 other great coffee shops in town it wouldn’t seem so bad.

Since Tully’s is gone I had high hopes for this place. But the prior reviews were on target. the coffee was TERRIBLE. I“m a true coffee lover. there isn’t much that I won’t drink. but this was barely drinkable. very very bitter and just not even kinda good. While I might try them another time it’s very unlikely.

One of the best coffee places around Edmonds! The atmosphere is unique! I tried their cappuccino and its one of the best i have tried in Seattle(its café Umbria) also their Nutella Brioche is sensational, please try and forget the extra calories(its totally worth it).
