The service and quality unite as a power couple at Anthony’s. We went to Anthony’s to celebrate a birthday and while eating completely forgot the reason we were there because the food was so incredible. I have a severe dairy allergy and the waiter was proactive is letting me know what to stay away from on the menu and what could be modified to fit my needs. We were seated next to a window right away and enjoyed the view, the lighting and the helpfulness and soft-spokeness of our wonderful waiter. We will absolutely be back for future celebrations.

Black Friday night we had the honor of attending Anthony’s Homeport to celebrate missing out on the black Friday madness :) We began our orders with 2 beers for the adults and 2 Shirley Temples for the boys. We ordered the calamari and the crab cakes as a starter. For our mains the boys ordered the kids macaroni each. DH ordered the tenderloin medium rare with garlic mashed potatoes, corn and green beans. I ordered the seared Ahi chefs recommendation rare with a delicious rice and green beans. We were brought a bread basket with our drinks and our appetizers arrived shortly thereafter. The bread here is absolutely delicious! The calamari was good with a flavorful breading and tasty dipping sauce. The crab cakes are to die for! Absolutely BEST crab cakes hands down!!! The kids macaroni and cheese was very yummy with a white cheese sauce. DH thoroughly enjoyed his tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. The corn and green beans were also claimed to be superb. The mashed potatoes however weren’t anything exceptional and rather bland with a hint of garlic. Now onto my Ahi. The dish as a whole was simply phenomenal! Unfortunately I think the waitress misunderstood and it was cooked medium rare instead of chefs recommended seared rare. I didn’t want to have to send it back and everyone’s food get cold while they waited so I ate it as it was. It really was good but not what I was so looking forward to :(Next time though I will definitely confirm seared rare. Thanks for a great evening! Will review again next time :)

Great service. Beautiful dining experience(every seat in the house as a spectacular view of the puget sound). A little pricey. BUT oh sooo delicious. Perfectly crafted, simple, fresh seafood. Can’t wait to visit again… although I will most likely be eating off the HH menu.

The chowder came about four minutes before the meal. The chowder had very chewy big bits of clams — not pleasant. The bread was fresh and very tasty. The salmon was very dry. The blackened sole had very little taste even though cooked well. The beans were so raw they could not be cut with my knife. I gave up and did not eat them. My friend asked for tartar sauce. The waiter said«no» and then asked if that was the same as ranch. I had to ask for a refill of water which was very very slow in the coming. My friend still tipped $ 10 but I would have said«not this time». I also asked if other Anthony’s had the same Monday and Tuesday specials. The waiter said he didn’t know and didn’t bother to find out.

Their beach café is great! I do think their Caesar salad used to be better — sometimes it tastes like the croutons are somewhat soggy — maybe sitting too long? So I stopped ordering it. The rest of the food is fine, though. Love the view. If their salad was better I’d give them 5 stars.

Bad. We were seated pretty quickly and then waited a good 15 minutes before our server even really talked to us, all the while attending to the needs of every other table around us multiple times. Finally she took our order. Beer was good. Prawns were good. Mahimahi was bland. We finished our meals and waited over 20 minutes before being checked on again, so probably 40 minutes to an hour after we got our food. At this time it wasn’t even busy anymore as things were obviously winding down, so it was pretty inexcusable. We reluctantly got dessert. The chocolate cake was very disappointing, especially at $ 8. Plus, it was super cold in there. My wife was freezing and I was pretty chilly too, which is saying something because I’m pretty resistant to cold. I will not be coming back. Anthony’s was a major letdown. From now on, I’ll stick with oyster bar in Bellingham if I want good seafood. Heck, dicks would have been an infinitely better experience.

The view spoke for itself, as it was beautiful looking out on the waters while you were eating. It gave the restaurant romance. The food is plated very well; however, the quality of food for the amount that you’re paying was extremely disappointing. Shrimp cocktail tasted like canned shrimp… Other entrees were also not as appealing as the salmon was dry and small portioned. I was not convinced that the food was fresh. I felt as if I could get better quality at Olive Garden for a lot less $.

Although the food was excellent, what makes Anthony stand out is their customer service. Let’s start with the food. We enjoyed the sirloin steak, coconut prawns, garlic butter prawns, tempura prawns, and beefsteak tomato salad. Everything tasted wonderful, was hot, and perfectly cooked. As far as customer service, they have a real«make it right» attitude. Unfortunately it took awhile for us to be seated, despite having a reservation. However everyone went out of their way to make it right, without us asking. They comp’d our appetizers and made sure they knew we were valued customers. Our server, Tessa, was attentive and kind. This was the first dinner my husband and I enjoyed without kids for at least 6 months, so this was a really important date night for us. Anthony’s made it a memorable experience and I look forward to returning again.

Food was incredible and since we ate off of their dinner specials menu it was very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and helpful but food came out of the kitchen a little slower than would be expected. Also a note, my husband and I both ordered the steak and when the food came his steak was considerably larger than mine, which was a little off putting

«The taste and view of the northwest served with a uniquely cozy charm.» Anthony’s seems to have a knack at expertly preparing seafood. We decided to take my mother to Anthony’s for her birthday and the whole experience could not be faulted. The menu is Northwest inspired and showcased an array of delicacies with a slight modern twist. We ordered the cod and chips, sockeye salmon salad and mussels and fries. The cod and chips was fried to perfection. The fish was not soggy and retained its crispiness to the last bite. The sockeye salmon salad was light and the vinaigrette was not over-powering. The mussels and fried was an unexpected yet tasty combination. The broth was simply fantastic. Anthony’s certainly met and exceeded expectations while delivering excellent service. The personal touches such as a table side visit by the service manager was unexpected and appreciated. The staff was eager to recommend their favorites and engaged us in conversation. I have also tried their Cioppino and Steak Oscar on other visits. Both dishes were expertly prepared and presented. The Cioppino was an excellent medley of shellfish in a tasty tomato broth. The Steak Oscar was cooked to request and the Dungeness crab/hollandaise sauce adds an amazing depth of flavor to the steak.

I just could not believe what happened to us yesterday at Anthony’s in Edmonds. A completely unqualified girl named Genevieve waited on us, if you can call what she was doing«waiting tables». We got there at 3:15 for some happy hour food and drinks. We were a party of 2 and the first people in the bar or patio area and she wasn’t busy. I asked her a simple question about one of their happy hour drinks and she(without finding out what my friend wanted) left the table to go ask the bartender. I feel that waitstaff should know what all goes into a drink. She came back, the ingredients were satisfactory and we ordered a «six pack» of peel and eat prawns. It took ATLEAST25 minutes to get the prawns. No wet napkin to clean our hands with :( The prawns weren’t clean. I won’t eat the«vein» that runs along the back of the prawn. This little tube is right near the surface, and when I was a chef, I took the time to remove the vein before cooking them because that«vein» is the animal’s waste system, so if it is black and still present when put on the table, you are eating shrimp excrement, which is something I choose not to do. I cut mine down the back and fished the vein out myself. When done with the prawns, they just sat, ice melting into water and making a mess out of the table for much too long. We had to flag her down to ask her to remove the used dishes. I asked to speak to the manager… and I showed her what I was talking about. She was great. so props to Barbara the manager. She said she would take the cost of the prawns off the check, which she did. She said she would also talk to the kitchen staff We ordered calamari and she said that the fryer caught fire a few days prior, so they didn’t have calamari. They also serve a salad with fried calamari on it, so that knocked 2 things off the limited happy hour. Why weren’t we told this when we sat down? Why didn’t they offer an alternative so that there was more to choose from? I asked for a dinner menu and Genevieve said they start serving anything off the dinner menu at 4. On my way to the bathroom to wash my hands I grabbed a dinner menu, but the girl at the front desk said they didn’t start serving off that menu until 4:30. We then ordered clams and fries. No complaints. We were there from 3:15 to well past 5:45 and during that time, I drank 3 lemon drops. I didn’t feel tipsy at all and informed her that my friend was driving and I didn’t matter if I did get a buzz(which I did not), but by that time Genevieve stopped coming by our table, and also by that time we either wanted another round of drinks or we wanted to go and the remains of the clams just sat there the whole time without her bothering to come by and ask if we wanted anything else(which we did, because I was still hungry). And I know that they don’t serve«regular strength drinks» during happy hour(which should be called unhappy hour) because the drinks are discounted. When she finally did find the time to grace our table I asked for another lemon drop. She informed me that she would have to check with the bartended to find out if I was cut off, because«We put two full shots in every drink» which I felt was crazy. I thought a «shot» was an ounce of liquor. I’m no lightweight but I really didn’t feel the effects of what was supposedly 6 ounces of alcohol over a two hour period of time. She never came back… We had to flag down a different server to ask for the bill because by then, I was feeling unhappy with the poor service and all I had to eat was half an order of clams and I wanted to go home and make something for dinner(which I did). My friend and I were just quietly talking. I wasn’t loud or obnoxious, slurring my words or dancing on a table with a lampshade on my head. I showed no visible signs of being drunk. Besides, I hate the feeling of being drunk, so I never over-order drinks. I have eaten at this Anthony’s a few times, but never received such poor service. Typically the service is excellent. This girl needs to have some more training. Barbara, the manager was great, but unfortunately, she was not our waitress. Either way… I am never going back. It’s fun on a beautiful summer’s day to sit on the deck and watch the Sound and the boats. But Anthony’s is permanently crossed off my list. Thanks Genevieve. Ask your wonderful manager, Barbara for some tips on waiting tables. You need them.

If the entrees were $ 10 to $ 15 less on average this place would get 4 stars for sure. Unfortunately, the price point does not line up with service, quality, or creativity(the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box). It’s a beautiful location, so I guess you’re really paying for the view. It’s sad because it wouldn’t take much to improve staff attentiveness or have a more extensive beer and wine list. I guess I will stick to just getting happy hour drinks on sunny afternoons and then going some place else for dinner.

Every time I come here its always a pleasant experience. Good ambiance, good food, good staff and okay prices. It is seafood after all though! BUT! I will say that the happy hour and menu items changes location to location. For example at the Alderwood Grill, they have a $ 9 ½ Snow crab item on their happy hour menu that this location does not have!(Just an example). But other wise a great place to bring your special someone, on a extra special night.

Love this restaurant. Every time we are in town this is one of our routine stops. Out of all the locations the one in Edmonds is the best. Best view, best atmosphere, and best staff. The clam chowder is delicious and it is always served with warm bread. The other favorite is the ChopChop salad.

Love coming here for a classy yet laid back dinner — no matter where you sit, you have a great view. The food is always AMAZING — unless you’re starving or celebrating, you can probably skip the salad and appetizers as you’ll get unlimited sourdough bread(which is also AMAZING.) Service can be hit or miss… sometimes the water boy/girl is more attentive than your server. Don’t be afraid to grab another server or busboy/girl if you need something though — the entire staff here is always SUPER helpful. Oh – and don’t even bother trying to find parking in the lot. There’s plenty of parking on the street and it’s free, and will save the annoying hassle of trying to navigate the small lot it shares with its other restaurant.

Great Easter dinner with the parents, had reservations, highly recommended for any special holiday or event. Staff at the front were warm and welcoming. Were seated in a few minutes and provided yummy sour bread and butter(with thyme on it?). My side house salad was nice, with a light vinaigrette dressing. Both of my parents ordered steak with shrimp tempura and baked potatoes on the side, I assume the steak and shrimp were good, provided I was not offered a taste ;) I ordered the Northwest Cioppino – very tasty and filled with clams, mussels, cod, and salmon. Very good soup(accompanied by grilled bread) and worth the order. Great night and will definitely come back, better than nearby Arnie’s.

Anthony’s HomePort Edmonds… Really below average for Seafood… So Saturday Dinner, table for 4 «fresh» menu offering dungeness crab, Alaskan Scallops, and Springlings for some silly $$$. I’m NOT cheap, I will happily spend for a quality meal, however quality was NOT on the menu as we would find out… Staff was friendly but largely incompetent, or just poorly trained, dragging sleeves through plates already brought to table, courses brought in a haphazard manner appropriate for Sushi perhaps but not at a decent restaurant, and in general just sub par. The worst part though was the food, accept for the Alaskan Scallops that were surprisingly well done. Shoddily plated but well cooked and very tasty. The Crab however was just comical. I’ve had better value and freshness with dungeness in Omaha Nebraska… A little place called Charlie’s on the Lake. But here, at home, on the water from an allegedly decent chain of restaurants we are served half an empty shell(ugly and pointless) and four truly pathetic little legs. If they had been served to me I would have bounced them immediately with a side order of scorn, but as it was my friend dug in without comment and reported that the four pathetic legs tasted OK. But,(and I wish I would have taken a photo) the plating was again a joke, and the portion was comical. The calamari was OK but nothing interesting and while advertised as «crispy» was simply not. The salads that were brought were by all accounts quite good… SO score one for salads. Apparently there is at least a salad Chef somewhere back there doing their job. Clearly Anthony’s is not fine dinning, I know this and it’s obvious. However you do expect just a little better from a large local chain. TLDR, NOT Good, WAYWAY overpriced, poor staff performance, all the ambiance of a Cruise ship Buffet or Airport lounge(Décor is out of date chintzy), food was hit or miss and of poor quality. Would not go back, even if free. Arnie’s is right up the road and FAR better on all counts.

This is the type of place you take your boyfriend to meet your mom and grandma. Yep, I did! My mom asked some hard hitting questions about our preconceived hypothetical dual citizen children and we smoothed it over with champagne, crab cakes and the nice scenery. It has American seafood and brunch. It has great views of the waterfront and the view is much better than all those places on Lake Union in Seattle. You can actually SEE the sound, not just a bunch of overpriced floating boats. I digress… You can watch the sunset and go on a walk on the beach. The service is top notch and are even polite to small children.
