Pretty decent price. The lender was very helpful and told us about the areas to explore around the marina. The kayaks were in good condition. It would be useful to check the tides before hand. All you need is a bottle of water, maybe some water shoes, and a waterproofed phone and your set.

I highly recommend a tour with Botany Bay Kayak Adventures! Not only did we see a bunch of Dolphins, we were able to kayak out to an island about a mile or so off of Edisto Beach and spend some time exploring. Got to see a Bald Eagle eating a meal and also found a sharks tooth and some cool shells. The island showed signs of lots of other wildlife like deer, tons of different birds and some prints that looked like raccoon. The tour guide was not only full of information but a lot of fun and made the whole group feel comfortable when some of us were not experienced kayakers. The following day when I opened up my email and the tour guide had sent us some photos of the group. We had no idea they were going to do this and it was a fantastic surprise! None of us had cameras with us on the tour and didn’t want to chance getting our phones wet so we didn’t get the chance to take any ourselves. We left that day regretting only that we didn’t have photos of the fantastic experience, but seeing those in the email the next day really made our whole trip! This company goes above and beyond to take care of its customers and I’ll definitely be back to take another tour when we visit Edisto Island next time.
