Sonic Drive-In

We just come here for drinks/​ice cream.
Unfortunately, it took 15 mins to place an order (not busy and had to call 4 times placed oh «hold» twice) and another 15 mins to receive our 1 drink and 2 plain ice creams :(still haven’t gotten the correct chocolate ice cream order yet :(giving up :(A little more training may need to go into this particular shift.
In the past they have always been a little slower than most Sonics– so I know not to go here when I’m in a rush– understandable. But the above wait times… Unacceptable.

The food is pretty good for fast food. Love their hot dog choices. They’re all pretty good. My favorite is the New Yorker.
They serve fast and on skates.
All their shakes are good. I love the strawberry cheese cake!!!

I would recommend the ice cream shakes and ice slushes only!!! When I first here, I tried the chicken tenders, tater tots, and mozzarella sticks, but I really was not a fan! I’ve had way better fast food than those, but then later, I realized that its the slushes and ice cream shakes that you must get, which I now absolutely agree! You should try mixing flavors of the slushes too! I love watermelon and kiwi together!
It’s also a pretty cool experience to drive in, order and eat in the car or drive away. But sometimes my friends and I would just park and eat there!

We pulled into the Sonic around 1:30pm on a Sunday, we have utilized the drive through before but never the Park&Order service. We pulled up and an available spot and ordered a strawberry shake and a mix-​in which is like Sonic’s version of a Dairy Queen Blend-​In.
Within about 6 minutes, a guy rolled out on skates, with our orders and a couple of mints. I thought it was so cool. I heard they roll out to your car on skates. But I’d never actually seen it. Our orders were correct, tasty and really reasonably priced as compared to the local ice cream places. We didn’t order any food so unfortunately I cannot provide any insight into the food items on their menu.
We didn’t feel rushed or anxious as we sat in our spot for about ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes while we enjoyed our tasty treats. It is in a great location on route one, that makes for an easy pull in and pull out. And it was great service for us, and great experience overall. And if somehow you can make it there after 8pm, they offer half-​price shakes ! Seriously winning !

Absolutely unacceptable service from the employees including the manager, these people need to get a new job and stop ruining customers meals.

Place never disappoints me ever ! Foods good. Always the best fastfood to go to when you wanna just sit in your car and eat. The waits never long and they never kick you out if your there long … Everythings great here

Went there on tax day for a half priced cheeseburger. Sat at the ordering booth for 15 minutes. Rang the call bell twice. No response. Done for good with this place.

The food here is okay but I would give a 5 star for the shakes and slushies alone. Those are super delicious. They have me coming back every month. This location makes the limeades just right.
I had bad experiences with a previous location that made me change my decision to go here on the regular.

Sometimes this place gets packed. Here on a friday night. only drive thru is opened and it gets long. They wont come to your car. But i only come here when I have a craving.
Also a good stop after a night of partying. Love the hot dogs and tator dots.
Usually get a slushie. Ice cream is good.

Great drinks but it’s a franchise so I can get the same thing at a much better ran franchise. Lines at sonic are expected but 3 cars on drive thru and the first car took over ten minutes to get finished is just unacceptable. Sonic food had always been marginal at best but the drinks will make me stop from the Slushies to the milkshakes. The service at this location is probably the worst I have ever been to and they exist due to their location and that alone. Also watched a manager car hopping and then calling an employee who was on break or just early to work, be called a «blockhead». Might need some more training at this location. As a side note I’m still waiting as i finish this for just a slush. Got out of the drive thru and ordered from a kiosk in the seating Area in front. Still no slush tells you how slow a sonic with two cars in drive thru and three in the bays can be. UPDATE: Manager brings the slush and it’s missing a flavor after confirming/​correcting the order twice.

Would rate this a negative –5 if I could.
Waited over 40 minutes before I started to write this review as me and my girlfriend waited at the park and order lot at sonic.
We were waiting for a $ 10 order of two milkshakes an order of tots and a chili cheese dog.
I buzzed the girl after 40 minutes asking when our food would arrive and she said they were backed up and our food would be right out and yet the drive thru was being served one car after the other as we waited another 20 minutes. You would think we were getting a steak and lobster for how long we were waiting.
At the one hour mark I had to buzz the server again because this was getting ridiculous. As I started to ask about our order she cut me off and said it would be right out.
Being the patient couple that we are. plus the fact that we really wanted milkshakes and the fact that we had already paid. We really thought that our food would come out asap.
But we were let down again. I was really hoping the cameras for MTV ‘s boiling point were going to pop out of the bushes and tell us that we won $ 100 bc we waited close to nearly an hour an a half! (judge us. Lol we really wanted sonic)
I finally decided to speak to the manager (Chuck) who spoke to me like I was the one giving him the problem when it looked like he had been sitting in the backroom for his whole shift. He stated that he could not find our order and that he would have to take it down again so he could refund us. After reiterating our order once again.
He came back to the window later with a refund receipt and was able to magically refund my credit card that he «could not find «Go figure!
Worst experience ever. Plenty of other fast food spots to go to. Don’t come here… unless you go to the drive thru that is. –_–

Recommend the chili cheese tots!

Ive been to a couple Sonic Drive-​Ins and the food is always consistent. But these guys are the best for an important reason. I was there with my girlfriend and I guess we were there longer than we thought (with the radio on), because my battery died.
They were VERY busy when I asked for help, but they sent someone out anyway. They were very polite with helping me push out my car and jumping it. I highly recommend it because all the food Ive gotten there is good and the people are all really nice. Give them a good tip!

I heart this place. Chili cheese tots and their hot dogs are amaze-​balls! Add a strawberry limeade to the mix and you’ve got yourself a happy camper.
Obviously this place is not for the health concious. This is straight up masochistic food and you hate yourself for eating it afterwards (as does your arteries). But damn it, if it doesn’t taste so good…

I like Sonic. And whenever I’m on the road and have a opportunity to go to one I take it. The shakes are amazing. The frozen menu is the best. Chicken stripes, burgers, and chilli cheese tots are all fine in my book.

Dear Sonic,
Your shakes are delicious. And I find almost any tater tots irresistible. Your convenient location right off of Route 1 makes you easy to access after a rough day at work. When posed with the question «Work out or Sonic?» you know what I always want to choose. I hate you, but I like you. You make life so difficult.

Dayum, what am I doin parked at a Sonic, in the ‘burbs? Ugh.
— The food: deep-​fried fast food (fried chicken on «texas toast» and tater tots) was meh.
— The gimmick: suburban kids on roller blades serving food to the parked cars.
— The bonus: just order from the drive-​inn screen and swipe your credit card. No fugly register person to look at.
Now I know why suburbanites are chubby.

Disclaimer: I am totally addicted to their lemonberry lemonade or whatever it is called so my review might be biased.
So addicted that each time I am in the neighborhood (maybe it’s a good thing that I don’t live near anymore), I stop by and get one all the time. Of course, service is good and that crackanade is amazing. Too bad, they don’t have too many outlets and it’s kinda pain in the butt to get here.
