These guys jacked up their cost of a six pack of Not Your Father’s Root Beer to $ 14/six pack, and will only sell you 1. This is just taking advantage of a state-wide shortage. I will never shop here again.

Very large store with an equally large selection of it seems just about everything. Enormous parking lot. I really don’t know about their prices so I cannot comment from that perspective. My issue is that customer service is almost non-existent and unless you go in there knowing exactly what you are looking for and where to find it in the store, you are going to be pretty much on your own trying to find it. The cashier pointed me in the general direction but when I didn’t spot what I was looking for, it was extremely difficult to find anyone else working there. I finally found someone to point me in a more specific direction although I felt at that point he should have actually picked out the bottle for me. I could never imagine going there if I was looking for a bottle of «special» wine and needed help with my selection. Today, as frustrating as it was, I knew exactly what I wanted but would have appreciated more help finding it. For me in choosing a liquor store or wine shop, the level of customer service is most important.

Disagree with the one reviewer. I think Liquor Locker sells at a slightly higher price, not necessarily at a premium. People are used to Cosco prices, and forget that there is a legal minimum retailers can sell liquor at. Pretty spacious place with a good selection. I don’t frequent it often, but I’m not turned off by it either. They have some nice, cheap shots of Rebel Yell Bourbon. Seriously, not a bad place. Stop all the hate. I know a lot of other liquor dives that have expired beer. This is not one of them.

Liquor Locker is not far from my parents house so its usually my go-to when in Edison. The prices are cheaper and the selection larger compared to the Wine & Spirits where I live in Philly. Another bonus is that I don’t have to make an extra stop to pick up beer. They have a pretty good beer selection and I’ve noticed that they will switch up what they carry so if something catches your eye, go for it because it might not be there next time!

The place is a Rip off !! They do not sell beer /spirits at discounted prices rather at premium price. Be ready to pay atleast $ 5.00 more per case. The man above the counter thinks that he is the Einstein of liquor trade and instead of arguing or doing a price match comparison, tells u upfront buy it at the price it is or leave it !! WOW

I stop by this store every time I visit Edison. I started frequenting this store when I moved from New York to Pennsylvania because of restrictive Pennsylvania liquor laws requiring that beer be purchased only in cases. This store allowed me to restore variety in my «beer cellar.» I soon noticed that they an excellent selection of fine spirits, and, furthermore, they had great prices on them, in particular, Macallan 18-year-old single malt scotch(i.e., Scotish whiskey). I probably single-handedly drove their prices up with my frequent purchases. ;-) Their prices on fine spirits aren’t that competitive anymore, but their selection has gotten even better. I still stock up on my collection of Belgian and English/Irish beer from here whenever I can, as their beer prices are competitive(at least by Pennsylvania standards).

Lots of selection. Good prices. Almost non-existent service. Check this place out for the deals. If you need a wider, rarer selection head down to Oak Tree Discount Wines & Spirits(quite close).

I’m from Pennsylvania, where you can only buy liquor through state-owned monopoly stores… and you have to go elsewhere to buy beer, which is not only inefficient but super expensive. Liquor Locker was exciting on so many levels… broad selection of wine and spirits, and beer available in cases, sixers, or singles. And oh, that beer selection! It was hophead heaven. Allagash Curieux 2004– that was the first batch brewed– $ 11.99 for a 25 ounce bottle. Achel Extra, from Belgium, also $ 11.99. This same Achel goes for $ 30 per bottle, plus 10% liquor tax, in the Philly beer bar I work in. Thomas Hardy English ale, vintage 2003, $ 5.99 for a 12 ounce bottle. Again, in Philly, this is insanely rare and fetches up to $ 35 a bottle. Go, Liquor Locker! The nice man at the register also gave us a case discount on our 18 single bottles and saved us $ 11. Thanks and we will be back to stock our beer cellar.
