HORRIBLE! I received spa finder gift cards. Went on spa finder’s website and located Santhigram. The«Inner Peace and Happiness» treatment was something I have never tried. An ayurvedic consultation and then an oil treatment on my forehead. I tried booking it online, but it would not accept the spa finder card number. So, I called and spoke with the receptionist and told her the problem I was having. She said she could take care of it over the phone. I gave her all the info she requested, TWICE. Then she needed my credit card number. She advised me she needed it to book the appointment, and that they would not charge me. That same day, she called back to ask me all of the information again. I asked her if she lost it, she said no. So I decided to email them all the info. I also told them that I was leary of keeping this appointment. They sent an email back to me reassuring me that everything would be fine, and they would not use my credit card. I arrived to a small dank place. A woman arrived promptly at 12:00, who turned out to be the person I was having the consult with. I was impressed with her insight of me. At the end, she recommended I come 7 days in a row at $ 125.00 each day in order for me to have any benefits from the treatments. I was advised it would not help if I just do one every once in a while. I declined. Then the receptionist asked me when would I like to schedule the week appointment, again, I said no. Now it was time for the treatment, the receptionist was the person who would be doing the treatment. Into an unattractive room. No music. I laid down, I could hear a gaggle of people in another room. Could not relax. Then, the door bell rang, and she left to answer it, while the oil was dripping on my forehead. Upon her return, her cell phone rang. She didn’t answer it, but thats when she turned on music, more than half way through the treatment. Only one towel I was given to cover my chest. She used harsh paper towels to soak up the oil from my hair and my neck. Literally dripping. I go into the waiting area. I give her my gift cards. She said, we don’t accept them. WHAT? I told I found this place on spa finder. She said no, we don’t have anything to do with them. I told her to check it out for herself on the website. Meanwhile, I am trying to do the same on my cell phone, however, it too was covered in oil. She kept giving me those harsh paper towels to wipe it from my neck, my back, and I had to take off my coat because now it was dripping there. She had me talk to a man on her cell phone and he said they do not accept spa finder gift cards and I had to pay by credit card. By this time, I was so frustrated and wanted to get out of there, so I paid it. Placed a call to the credit card company. Wrote a review on city search and Unilocal and also to spa finder. I tried reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, but they never heard of them, even when I tried all other possible ways of locating them from email, phone number, etc. They never heard of them.
