These suits look amazing! I’m a photographer and one of the grooms I recently worked with got his suit here! It looked absolutely great, one of my favorite suits I’ve seen in my 7 years of shooting weddings!

My husband purchased a shirt at the Edina location on a Saturday night. The shirt needed a bit of alteration, which the salesperson assured him would take about two days. We paid for the shirt and instructed the salesperson to give us a call when the shirt was done, and we would either pick it up or have it delivered to our house. 8 days later we hadn’t heard anything so my husband called the store to check the status. He had to leave a voice mail, and when the call wasn’t returned all day, he called at the end of the business day. The sales person who answered didn’t apologize but said it was still at the tailors. The next morning, another salesperson called and told my husband that it had been shipped to our house (so I have no idea why they said it was at the tailors) but the delivery person didn’t know where to leave it so it went back to the shipping company’s warehouse. We never told them to mail it. My husband requested that the shirt be returned to the Edina store and we would just pick it up. The hammer made employee said the shirt would be held by the shipping company for 15 days before they would release it. No apologies from hammer made. Frustrated, my husband just told them to cancel the transaction. No one at hammer made ever apologized or tried to fix the mistake. So, we will never buy anything from them. Ever.

Excellent service, fantastic quality, limited run custom clothing and accessories. When I found out they will also tailor any item to your personal measurements, I was sold. Up until this point, I’ve only been able to find shirts at Nordstrom (in basic colors) or Bannana Republic, every few seasons. Bespoke custom shirts are, by comparison, incredibly pricey.
Hammer Made places itself very competitively from this perspective. A silk tie for $ 59? I occasionally pay more for, say, a Countess Mara, Jos A Bank, or Burberry, but those are brands you can find nationwide.
I now have a custom silk tie that only a handful of people will ever have, for about half the price. The complimentary pocket square was a no brainer at $ 29. It’s gorgeous.
On my way out, I accidentally left a couple other parcels next to the dressing room. I hadn’t walked for more than a couple minutes before I got an email from the sales associate pointing out this fact, which said they’d hold the packages with my name on them at the register.
That’s incredible service.

Great shirts that have lasted for me (OK sometimes the buttons don’t). Really enjoy the clean look of the store… I don’t have to search to find things I like and they don’t clutter. Ties are great too.

I don’t have an endless amount of money so designer wear has never been a high priority for me. I do wear my clothes a long time and I do gravitate toward quality over price. This is a great place for you if you are like me. Hammer makes his shirts in limited quantities of 25. They are beautiful and only $ 100. I caught a sale shirt yesterday at $ 50 but the sizes and designs are tough on the sale rack sometimes. His clothes are made in Italy and the fit is great. I have bought beautiful ties, socks, pocket squares and even bought a nice cardigan yesterday. New to his line are unstructured jackets and I picked one of those yesterday too. This is a terrific store and if you want to stand out from the crowd a little, this is the place for you.
I still have a couple shirts I bought last year and they still look as great as the day I bought them.
As a bonus yesterday, a pitcher for the Twins was there (Cole) and former Twin Jim Thome was there too!
