Sometimes in life you just have to take the scenic route! The Promenade is dope for day and evening strolls. Here’s my top reasons to come: — Amazing NYC views. — The grittiness of the Hudson river. — Amazing Photo opportunities, so get ya DSLR lens ready! — Multiplex movies theater close by. — Shopping center close by. — Restaurants close by. I’d recommend coming Spring and Summer. Enjoy folks!

This place is amazing to come and enjoy the view, shops and food. 1) I will recommend eating at Bareburger. 2) You will not be able to spend the whole day here. But it is a must visit. 3) There is a Multiplex nearby.

A great place to walk anytime throughout the year. It provides great views of NYC and it’s clean and well lit for evening walking. The only thing to be wary of are the piles of geese droppings.

A small shopping center, with the right amount of stores. Located in the now, nothing but beautiful Edgewater. Victoria Secret, Anthropology, Gap, Banana Republic, Panera Bread & more. Beautiful NYC view. The downside is the parking. Either you wait for someone to leave so you can be close to the stores or park in the movie theatre lot next door.

The Promenade is a shopping plaza filled with all of the common retail favorites — Victoria’s Secret, Express, Guess, Bath & Body Works(just to name a few) as well as popular food chains such as Chipotle and Panera’s. I love coming here because it’s steps away from the water, offers stunning views of NYC and has plenty of fashion finds. My only gripe about this shopping plaza is the parking — it is difficult to find and I don’t think there is any time of day where I didn’t have to wait and circle around for a space.

Edgewater’s Promenade offers a lovely expansive view of the west side of Manhattan and da Bronx just across the Hudson and is a welcome chance to walk off, perhaps, an over indulged brunch in Fort Lee or teaching a kid to rollerblade, mind the rocks and the water… Yes, I saw that! Perhaps they could add a few more benches, butt ;))) perhaps that is is why it is not called a park, and some history boards giving insight into points of interest like impressive Riverside Church crowning the shoreline on the opposite side. There are great scenic photos can be taken and the lapping of The Hudson’s water on the shore could lull any post Soondubu taker into a good afternoon cat nap for sure! Or just go into the Whole Foods in the shopping plaza and get a nice picnic lunch and watch the ebb and flow…
