Always our go-to restaurant for Italian food… EVERYTHING is always sooooooo GOOD! The food is decorative as well as tasty and if you love garlic, this is the place to go. The bruschetta is UNBELIEVABLE!, the grilled calamari is my absolute favorite and everything else I’ve tasted never disappoints. It is a BYOB, which is great and there is a price menu for lunch and dinner portions which are so reasonably priced for the portions you get. The variety of dining settings/locations can really set a nice mood… from the Italian bistro for lunch to the intimate Grotto setting, to the newly renovated patio areas… they each seem to set a mood. Although I’ve never eaten in the large dining hall, this restaurant satisfies every need. The environment is more adult than families with children, but everyone seems welcomed. Although the trattoria has a classy elegance about it the dress attire ranges from casual to dressy, so there’s no one turning you away for not being dressy enough. The owner is a hard worker among the rest in the restaurant, often seating patrons and making sure everyone is happy. Oh, and did I mention how GOOD the food is… I’m hungry right now for something from there, just talking about it!!!

We will be back! we just went for our 6 year anniversary night. We have never been and we are so glad we went here. We were seated in the music room. We LOVED the Frank Sinatra night. Amazing food. wonderful staff also.

I have never had a bad meal here because I always order the fish special and arugala salad special. I have not had the pasta. They do a great job with special events. We had my parents anniversary party there and it was wonderful and the food and staff were very attentive. I have been to multiple showers and parties there. Always a treat.

Huge menu with tons of delicious meals to chose from. No outstanding dessert, pretty much all gelato. Good thing there is a yogo factory in the same parking lot.

So I went to Trattoria Giuseppe again this time for lunch, and the food is good — no complaints there, but the noise level and the crowded seating are are turn off. In my last review I said it was very noisy, but I figured that was due to the fact that it was a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately, it’s just as noisy at lunchtime, and it wasn’t even as crowded. Also, the table as squeezed so close together I felt like I was practically sharing my table with others. The tables are so close, the man at the table next to us reached over, pointed at our meal and asked us what we were having. The other thing about the tight tables is there is no central aisle for people to walk while being seated, so I was treated to having people walk extremely close to my table, while I was eating, and several time their butts were so close to my table that their asses were nearly on my table, especially when they’d stop and survey the restaurant looking for a «quiet» table to request(there were none). I don’t like being packed in like sardines. There is no meal so outstanding that I want people breathing on my meal as they walk past, nor do I want their asses that close to my table. IMO, the management is so interested in packing as many people into the place as possible to make money — nevermind their guests personal space. If you’re looking for a quiet, intimate dinner or lunch where you can actually converse with your dining partners, you should look elsewhere.

We were a party of 6 for dinner 5÷28÷16. We were seated immediately. after that. Not good. We waited over an hour for our food and only got 4 platters. My husband complained and 10 minutes one more platter came out. At that point we were sharing our dinner with the 1 person without food. Another 10 minutes and he got his meal. One and a half hours had passed. The waiter blamed it on the kitchen, The manager could not have been more rude. we will never return.

Have had several great dining experiences at this BYOB. The complimentary bruschetta is great. Food and service is really good. My mom threw my bridal shower here. They were very well staffed so very attentive to all of our guests. Try the gnocchi, it is great.

So… it is Mother’s Day. We spend all day at a soccer tournament. We go to Giuseppe’s at 8:45. They claim to close at 9. They seat us. One waiter pours us water and opens my wine. Another begins to explain the specials. The hostess leans over my daughter and says, «you need to order right away because the kitchen is closing.» Really? The water pouring waiter interrupts«special reading» waiter and tells him to hurry it up so that the kitchen does not close. He proceeds to say, «when they start spraying cleaning chemicals in the kitchen it’s too late». It gets better… He proceeds to hurry us into ordering. Having been rushed my 13 year old son asks his mom to order him a salad. She does and is told by the waiter, «only your order not his.»(Not in a kind way). My wife takes a deep breath and says I need a moment. He says«come on it’s not that hard. Do you want a meat or seafood or pasta.» Downhill from there. Needless to say we left. Waisted some really nice byob wine. My suggestion. Beware! Also to management. Change your hours to 8:30 if someone can not easily get food after 8:30!

I always enjoy the food here and the service but tonight made me so dissapointed that im no longer going to spend my money. The hostess is an older lady with brown hair and glasses, ABSOLUTELY rude. It was obvious that she did not like the fact i questioned their reservation policy. Had the testicular fortitude to tell another couple waiting to be seating smack while i was standing near by. I immediately told her that if i have a reservation and people who come in after me get seated first i do have a problem with that.(Waited a half hr to be seated with reservations) she then begins to say some irrelevant shit to which i cut her off n said, she will not get passive aggressive with me n needs a job she can actually be proud to do. The wait staff seem short staffed which im more forgiven of but 2 and a half hours for a while meal is ridiculous. Especially when we were the first table seated in a room, only to be waiting for our food longer than people who clearly were seated after us. The waiter says he will get us the check then helps another table right next to us. When my mom asks what happened to the check he tells her someone else is bringing it and continues to serve the other table only to be the one that brings us our check(fed us bullcrap basically). I spend several hundred dollars here each visit but no longer will. The only thing that was good was the water boy and the food. VERYDISSAPOINTED.

Not as good as it used to be. Think of one giant sardine can and that’s how you feel when dining here at night. Food is very salty and it takes forever to get your meal. Used to be much better. You just can’t relax here.

I must say that I’m surprised at the wildly inconsistent ratings for Trattoria Giuseppe. We(my wife and I) have always received consistent and quality service. We almost exclusively come for lunch, however. Perhaps that explains our good fortune. I appreciate their light salad dressing, the homemade potato chips, the extraordinarily garlicy grilled squid, the fresh baked bread, etc. This is one of the rare restaurants where I actually look forward to eating their salads — though I often convince myself that I ‘just have to’ try something else.

It was ok. Not as good as I expected. The servers weren’t too attentive and my meal was not too great.

This is a great restaurant. Great is perhaps not an appropriate term; I’d say fantastic. This is what I call real Italian foods.(*~*) Fantastic foods and service. Outstanding. Hope I was able to eat more.

Been here three times and every time the food has been terrific. They accommodate gluten free diet concerns. Everything is fresh and delicious. It’s a BYOB so we can bring some thing delicious to enjoy. The specials always sound like a good choice and change often. There always seem to be a crowd here so there are lots of repeat business, families, older couples and regulars. Make a reservation. We had a delicious salad with big pieces of cheese on it. I love the seafood dinner with the mussels scallops, calms and shrimps. My husband had a gnocchi dish with sausages. The interior is like nice garden terrace atmosphere with vines and red terra-cotta tiles and old plaster. It can be a bit loud sound wise. They have multiple rooms and can accommodate at decent size party. Only one time on a very crowded week night the young server forgot to follow up on an order for one of our party, despite us reminding him.

WATCHYOURCHECK!!! This is the second visit in a month that the check was grossly wrong. The first one had five entrees for four people and then the ignorant server argued that I was wrong. The second one charging for four salads at $ 6.95 each that were clearly included with specials on the back page of the menu. They seated four of us at a table in the older part of the place that clearly was not large enough for two and when we asked for a larger one were told that the larger one were reserved. Two hours later the larger ones were still empty. The staff is clearly not very customer friendly. I have eaten here many times but this one is the last even though the food is good.

If you like Italian American hospital quality food and rude old Italian men this is your place. I made a reservation 3 days in advance which was ignored when I showed up for dinner. Luckily I convinced the host and they seated us. Food was nothing remarkable and I was just glad I didn’t have gastro-intestinal issues a few days later.(You know what I’m talking about, when you enter a restaurant and start doing the will I get sick from this place analysis…)

Rental Car Agent: I think I know why we have reservations. Jerry: I don’t think you do. You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don’t know how to *hold* the reservation. And that’s really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them. Just replace the Rental Car Agent with Guiseppe’s, and I’ll be Jerry. –Former Customer

Food: 4.5 Décor: 3 Ambiance: 2.5 Service: 2.5 Value: 3.5 Did NOT expect the food to be this good in a suburban Italian restaurant. It was very good. And byob. And had the expected cheesy Italian restaurant décor.

I’ve eaten here many times. It’s a popular place and the food is great. But they apparently don’t know the definition of the term«reservation». I made a reservation for 7pm on a Saturday. Upon arrival at exactly 7pm there were no less than 50 people standing and waiting in the lobby and around the door. I approached the hostess and informed her of my reservation. She said«OK, yes I see your name here, there’s about an hour wait». I told her I had a reservation. To which she replied«yes, that’ll be an hour wait». I’m like WTF, why did I call. The food is good enough to go back, but only on a weeknight or for lunch. The sports bar around the corner from this place is probably still in business due the inability of Giuseppe to handle reservations. Once you feel totally dismissed by Giuseppe, a bacon cheese burger and fries start sounding pretty good.

THEBRUSCHETTAHEREISTHEBEST I’VEHADINMYENTIRELIFE. Anyway… This place is gigantic. Like, I really didn’t expect it to be the size of a football stadium. The parking lot, sidewalk, and lobby were packed with people. I was very overwhelmed and thought we were in for a terrible dinner with a bunch of loud people. The dinner turned out to be delicious, but the atmosphere left a little to be desired. The tables were very close together, it was very loud, and I felt slightly claustrophobic. Once I got the complementary bruschetta, though, I recovered. It was served on the best bread ever — not at all too crunchy. You could actually bite into the piece of toast and not lose all of the tomato goodness on top. They also didn’t skimp on the garlic. It was really amazing, and the waiter kept bringing out plates of it and baskets of bread. I could have eaten my fill before even getting my entrée. The entrees were gigantic, just like the building itself. They were all delicious. The shrimp scampi had(no joke) about 6 chopped cloves of garlic in it. My mother put all the garlic in a pile just to see how much was in the dish. It was just insane, but obviously very tasty. The chicken piccata and spaghetti Bolognese were also good. The desserts actually let me down a little bit. The chocolate fondant cake was kind of dry and the tiramisu was just OK. Since this place is a BYO you can get a nice meal for cheap. We spent $ 81 for a meal for three people, with dessert. Not bad if you ask me! Just make sure you have a reservation, or else you’ll be waiting in a massive line!
