I don’t know how people like this stay in business.(Be careful — she may not.) In October my wife and I went to this store and bought fabric for covers for two throw pillows, plus paid for Molly to sew the covers and ship them to us(out of state). They were to be done in a week or two, as I recall. I started leaving voicemails in early December(my phone calls were never picked up). Of the 6 voicemails I left over the course of the next month, only one resulted in a return call. On that occasion, Molly said the covers were done and promised to send them out the next day. We finally received them ~6 weeks later, ~3 months after we had paid for them. In the interim, she had ignored 4 voicemails. Not surprisingly, I grew to dislike rather strongly her chirpy voicemail announcements. And needless to say, we’ll never do business with her again.

I ordered quantity of fabric(30 yards) from Molly last August; she charged my credit card and not only has not sent the fabric but has never returned one of the 6 or seven phone calls I have made, requesting an update. Molly does carry an interesting array of fabrics in nautical/sea themes but customer service is certainly not her forte. Susan W San Francisco

If you’re just looking for fabrics, this out-of-the-way store has lots of lovely ones. However, the owner, whom I think is new, also offers a custom service making things like pillows, and she is incredibly slow and repeatedly doesn’t live up to her promises or return phone calls. She seems to be overwhelmed and understaffed running the store so just doesn’t have time to do the work she takes on. Her prices and work seem good, but when it takes two and a half months to make 3 pillows(and only after constant badgering after two months have gone by), that’s a problem.
