My wife and I ate lunch here while visiting Edenton, NC.
We shared a club wrap that was prepared quickly and it was good.

Excellent crab cake sandwiches! Great place for a quick bite to eat while shopping in downtown Edenton.

The service was great, very friendly staff who helped explain the menu. I was blown away at how fast food came out. I would highly recommend this spot for a nice lunch in Edenton!

What a wonderful sandwich shop. We had a No Name sandwich that was delicious from the first bite. The owner was gracious and interested in our visit to Edenton. Well worth the stop. Highly recommend it to all.

It was ok. Had the Mexican sandwich… nothing fantastic. Everything was a la carte. Cashier was pleasant though. Bring cash or checks — no credit cards. Ugh!

Delicious, quick and friendly. We pulled off of 17 based on the strength of the Unilocal reviews, and we weren’t disappointed.

Emilio makes the bread fresh daily and we had really delicious sandwiches on fresh baguettes! The ingredients were all fresh and great combinations. Really nice spot.

A group of us went in today and all of us tried the crab cake sandwich. We were told if we didn’t love it, they’d refund us. They were right. It was wonderful! Very nice staff too.

We were driving by on route 17 and were looking for something other than fastfood. Emilio’s was one of the few places open on Sunday, so we stopped to grab some sandwiches for lunch. The staff was very friendly and the sandwiches were fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I were in the area visiting her parents over the Memorial Day weekend. We stopped in Edenton for lunch only to discover most everything closed. However, Emilio’s was open and serving food. There was a pleasant mother and adult daughter sharing lunch at a table on the sidewalk. Their presence even added to the atmosphere. Being the only place open at the time, we entered.
First impression, the aroma in the establishment is phenomenal. Second impression, we were greater by two smiling faces who were clearly happy to help us. Third impression, the food was truly excellent! Please come in and support this local establishment. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by everything as soon as you walk in the door.
