The female employees here are incredibly rude! I have been harrassed by Wendy and some snottie brat… she’s not even good enough to work at a Salvation Army, much regardless a run down 2nd hand shop. Don’t know the brat’s name, but she’s blonde in her 20’s, caucasion. This gal was making stupid noised at me.(It appears that someone told her to do that to me… so she did.(Who acts like that)? How rediculous and childish). I reported it to the manager, Wendy and she had the nerve to MAKEFUNOFME like a nut job! They are not decent ppl who make intellegent business decisions. If they are jealous of you,(if you are female), then they will make fun of you, harass you, just to find an excuse to make you leave the store.(Trying to get out of a lawsuit). Apparently Wendy has certain discriminatory issues towards certain females. This is a dangerous game THEY play with ppl’s lives and they really need to stop. So, these ppl need to remember to try to act like ladies and not trash and grow up! I think Wendy made me feel very uncomfortable and was giving me signs that a lesbian would give to her partner! It made my skin crawl! I don’t care to feel so uncomfortable, just because I didn’t react to that kind of behavior, nor pay her the attention that she wanted.(These two gals obviously have deep psychological issues). There are plenty of other valuable consignment shops that don’t cheat the customer out of their money for items. Other consignment shops also treat ppl alot better too-«with respect». And the other one I am talking about–«The women are secure with themselves– so you will probably be treated with more respect and value going somewhere else. Eden Prairie’s location — their clothes are stained and out of date! Seriously! DONOT Waist Your time going here. Save yourself a trip and go somewhere else! THEYWILLRIPYOUOFF, LIETOYOUABOUTTHESELLDATE’S OFYOURCLOTHES, ANDNOTPAYYOUWHATYOUDESERVE. YOUCANTAKEITTOANOTHERSHOPANDSAVEYOURSELFTIMEANDMONEY. I DON’T RECOMMENDTHISPLACE. Why don’t they just call their store, «TRASHDROP– OFF»! Cause they are too ignorant to recognize decent quality brand names that are current in style and fashion. OHYEAH! HOWCOULDTHEY? THEYARETOOBUSYSELECTINGOUTTRASHALLDAY! THEYARENOTUSEDTOTHEGOODLIFE!

I absolutely LOVE consignment shops, but this store seems to have it’s own agenda. The people that run it need a full semester of customer service etiquette, and then they can train their staff. While there are some decent finds there, the prices are absurd. A savy shopper can find the same/comperable items new at the prices tagged for the used in the store. No ‘buys’ to be found there. You can buy new for what they want there for used.

My review is just of the consignment process itself. You guys, I DREAD when I have to go here to drop things off. And I’ve been going here for about 7 years. They are so rude and noncommunicative. It isn’t hard to just courteously say, «Great, it’ll be about 20 minutes.» And then let me know when you’re done. But they say nothing. Of if they do, it’s snotty/annoyed/huffy. You put your stuff on the rod to be looked at and they say nothing — not even a grunt — and disappear into a back corner. I have no clue how long it will take, when they will be done, what is going on, etc. I will say that the last time I was there, whoever was in back was slightly less rude(although still non communicative). That was the first time that has happened. The extremely rude gal(c’mon, do you really hate your life that much?) had the day off, I guess. You can bring your stuff here if you want. But steel yourself before you go like I do. Find a happy place, set aside at least 60 minutes of wasted time, and good luck.

Expensive for what they carry. Not super high quality products, the store is always a bit of a mess, and mostly over-priced.

This is a great place to find unique items at consignment prices. This is the home store, so it is all household items. They just remodeled and expanded this store. There is so much space now! And they have broken up the furniture displays to actually look like individual rooms. Much easier to look at things! I liked it before, but I always felt crowded, now I love it. They have furniture, artwork, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom items. Any kind of decorating items you may want.

I tried out the Turnstyle Home Goods Consignment in Eden Prairie after a friend consigned multiple pieces of furniture there — the plan was to see how it went with consigning 1 item, then follow up with several more pieces. Was very disappointed by the staff”s rude attitudes, so needless to say I won’t be giving them any more business. There are plenty of other much higher quality consignment stores in the area.

Whenever I go in here, it’s usually just me(plus the coworkers inside). I think this is a little secret of Eden Prairie, as they have loads of awesome finds, waiting to be snatched up. I have been to other Turn Style Home locations, and by far this is my favorite. First off, it’s a completely separate store from the Turn Style Clothing shop across the street which is a nice plus and makes it less overwhelming to shop around. I’ve found some great pieces here to jazz up my old apartments, including a vintage French painting and a cool oversized floral clock for my kitchen. They have a great selection of end tables, mirrors, and unique kitchen type items. Definitely worth a trip over here(to the suburbs) to check this hidden consignment store out!
