Stopped in after a business meeting. The food here is LEGIT. grabbed the cornbread with maple syrup, buffalo shrimp, and jerk fondue. Party of 5 loved it all! Seated quickly and the waiter was great. Ordered ribs which were a moist delight. Couldn’t see the rest of everyone’s food because they were all elbow deep in their plates…

Sat outside overlooking the water and had a few cocktails. Nice atmosphere on a sunny summer day. We were full from eating elsewhere, but the food I saw going by looked great!

What a beautiful place in the burbs! I was visiting my family/friends for the weekend and stopped here for a late cocktail and some snacks. We sat at a bar table and ordered the buffalo wings and crab dip. The wings were excellent. They were sort of charred with just the right amount of tangy, spicy sauce. Decent size wings too. The crab dip was on the fishy side, so I don’t know that I’d get that again. We had a couple different servers and they were both friendly and attentive. There is also a rumor that this is a cougar bar! We didn’t see many(besides ourselves) so if that’s what you’re into, check it out!

My honey brought me here to celebrate our 1st anniversary! It was the first time I had been, that was three years ago and we have been back several more times. We first thought it was very fancy and would save going there for just«special occasions» but as there were a few times we would want to just drop in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised to notice that it can actually be a pretty casual affair! The food is amazing, especially the Buffalo Shrimp(admittedly we have popped in just to have that as an entrée!!)!! And have never been disappointed when we ask our server what their fav dish is(as well as wine suggestions) and have given it a try!

Impressed right away, we arrived almost an hour early for our reservation and they accommodated us right away. Ambience here was beautiful. The inside is dimly lit with beautiful décor. There is a gorgeous back deck for outside seating that offers a lot of tables. The food here was wonderful. I ordered the halibut special at the suggestion of our server and it was so, so, good. My family also ordered the prime Rib, Jameson Au Poivre, and the filet. We started with the Buffalo shrimp and they were amazing! Huge and perfectly cooked. We brought our own wine which they were happy to serve us and our server asked questions about it and deemed very interested in learning what we liked. There were only two things that kept this evening from earning 5 stars. First, our service was very slow. The server himself was attentive, amazing and professional. We all really enjoyed him, it was a busy night however, and it took quite a long time to receive our food. Second, my father’s steak was way over cooked. I’m confident, however that they would have fixed this right away — but my dad is not someone who likes to send food back. The manager came around twice to check up on us and I was very impressed with him as well. This is clearly a fantastic establishment that focuses on quality from start to finish. Service and the staff were so impressive as was the food. I would certainly return to this or any of their other locations.

This place does have some amazing short ribs and I’m debating between a 4 and 5 star review — I will determine that by the end of this review. The staff were pretty good, the pricing was ok and the parking — well anything outside California is good! Cleanliness was good no matter where you looked and food selection was very decent! The speed of service was good, but for some reason — other than the short rib meat — I’m not finding a whole lot to write home about or here — so for now the review stands with a 4 and when I return, which I will — perhaps then it will become a 5 star. Overall — this would be a place I highly recommend!

Ate a quick lunch here on my way home from Chanhassen. The food was excellent, but the service at the bar was really slow. They were pretty packed and should consider additional staff at the bar to accommodate the lunch traffic. I ordered the rotisserie chicken sandwich with slaw on the side. The sandwich looked small, but it was so packed with chicken that I could only eat half. The chicken was delicious and I hope to make it here for dinner to try it as an entrée. This place has a nice ambience and plentiful parking. The staff were very nice and my food came quickly. I hope to give this place another shot!

My company has at least 3 business lunches every week and Redstone is a crowd pleaser for us and our guests. Like a diamond, it has 4 distinct qualities that set it apart from other restaurants: cozy, classic, comfort, character. The entrance is warmed by a cozy fireplace. The menu is filled with great food choices including classic comfort foods like grilled meatloaf, ribs, burgers, mashed potatoes, and daily soup specials. Redstone in Eden Prairie gets its character from dark paneled walls, soft lighting, a casual ambience, a beautiful patio and its professional staff. Spacious and inviting, it features an open concept and, even when at capacity, does not feel crowded like some restaurants. The rotating weekly specials make ordering choices even harder. The guys I was with both declared that they were on diets. I think their diets ended shortly after reviewing the menu and saying«what the hell»!Today’s lunch featured a Dijon chicken sandwich on a pretzel roll with a side of crispy fries, a flatbread with pulled pork, pineapples, onions, and a chile verde sauce and a side of garlic mashed potatoes(just because). Everything was beyond delicious. Following up with banana cream pie was the beginning of their new See Food diet. Redstone has rotisseries chicken that spins a golden brown throughout the day and produces a scrumptious result. I’d recommend the rotisserie chopped chicken salad or the sandwich. The sandwich comes with a side of warm, chicken Au jus. I’ve never had bad food or service at Redstone and always leave feeling completely satisfied. Full bar, plenty of parking, great views!

Love this place! Food is always good, service is even better. I go mostly for lunches, usually at least once per week, and I have never heard a colleague or client complain about their meal. It is a very laid back atmosphere, not pretentious and the patio is amazing in the summer. You can go to Redstone as a table of 2 or 20. They’ll try to sell you the buffalo shrimp, and you should order them. Fantastic flavor and always done right. Salads are good, chicken is better and soups are absolutely perfect. Cornbread? Yes. Drinks are good, wine list is solid and plenty of beers. Overall, Redstone is a great dining spot!

a solid neighborhood choice! I come here for HH or Dinner… or sometimes just the giant CHOCOLATECAKE. remember that movie Matilda? where Ms. Trunchbowl forced the kid to eat the entire chocolate cake as the entire school watched? Although not the most appetizing scene of the film, you have to admit at one point you wondered how good that cake actually was.(admit it!) This cake is kind of like that. Moist, many layers, not overly frosted or sweet. OMGahh. if there are an array of desserts, I usually don’t pick the chocolaty one, unless I eat at Redstone. Food wise, this place is known for their chicken and steaks, I’ve had both and prefer the chicken. HH is always a great value as well.

Awful. Worst service ever. If you’re a rich divorce‘ who loves KS95 and drives a used mercedes C class, this place is for you! If you’re a super douchey frat guy who loves the kardashians and gold diggers who look like them, this is the place for you! If you’re a normal human who can’t stand pretension and douchery of the highest caliber, avoid this place at all costs. Food is marginal at best, service is HORRIBLE and managers treat you like you’re interupting them from doing something better, whatever that may be. PERMANENTLYBLACKLISTED.

I think the people who«love» this place fall into a category, that well isn’t me. I am not a huge fan of chains and hate when you get a more up scale restaurant and have it really have a chain feel. Redstone, you are just like Crave… a upscale applebees. Is this place ok for the whole family? Probably not. Is this place ok for a couple who is not married? As long as the lady does not leave the gentleman alone to be prayed on by the massive amount of cougars. They pride themselves on being upscale, but the food is nothing that is overly memorable for the price. Is it good? Yes, is the food matching the price? nah. We had gone for my moms birthday and were sat next to a table full of starving cougars who had only sustained their existence with high volumes of white wine and no food. They were screaming and yelling in their screeching tone, taking selfies and wow… the staff did nothing to shush them down despite every table giving the table noteable nasty looks. Obviously they will not scold their core demographic. My father and I ordered the short ribs. The 3 small short ribs were cooked so they just fell apart which was awesome, but then you would hit a portion that was dry. The stew they were served in was not hot, which was a little disappointing. My sister ordered the crab cakes and said they were pretty underwhelming. My mom ordered fish, but I can never really know how it was since she is one of the most positive people out there. This was not my first time here. I had been there once before for lunch and ordered a salad. It was your normal salad, nothing life changing but not horrible. We sat on the patio for some sunshine. It was your normal experience you get at really anywhere. Overall the food is just ok, nothing super amazing, but not bad. It is just fine. The service is not matching the ambiance and the amount of over wined cougars does take away from normal folks enjoying their meals.

Beautiful, yet laid back atmosphere. Efficient and friendly service. Hubby had the walleye dinner which was delicious. Kale salad was a tad boring, but edible. If you are looking for a stellar cheesecake, I highly recommend! The only ‘disappointment’ was the appetizer of pork belly sliders. The bread was very good but the pork belly was terrible(yes, I know pork belly is made up largely of fat, but there was actually no meat at all, just weird jelly-like clumps). Menu has a large variety to choose from and I would recommend for intimate dates or large party gatherings.

Food is good and typical American. Good range of options, delicious, and filling. The crowd here will remind you of a dating website for eharmony.

It was a beautiful workday afternoon. I was visiting my son and we were headed out to eat lunch. He started to wax poetically about some rotisserie chicken. I tuned him out as all I could think of was the oval plastic containers you get at the supermarket. I finally relented and we headed to Eden Prairie. I’m Redstone is beautiful, inside and out. The décor is elegant and welcoming. The patio is lovely and overlooks a pond. I can imagine Redstone being equally as inviting in winter. The bar area is expansive and cozy all at the same time. My motherly duty was to order the aforementioned rotisserie chicken. The rest of the menu was very inviting but my mission was clear. As usual my son was right. When it comes to food, he knows his stuff. The chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. The meat easily came away from the bone and the skin was incredibly flavorful. This was chicken that that had flavor, succulence and substance. The sides, mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, were excellent as well. Simple and perfectly executed. My son ordered the Thai chicken salad. It too was very good but I had the better lunch. He finished his salad and helped me finish off my meal. What a good boy! My son had told me the meal was on him, as I had paid a for dinner the night before. As he reached into his pocket he realized he had left his money and credit card at home. That too is what mothers are for.,

Redstone is a very solid place. I like the EP location better then the Minnetonka for 1 reason… The patio over looking the water. The menu is great! Many staples like meatloaf, excellent rotisserie chicken, and prime rib. I personally can never get past the Gouda fondue… It is so good! It comes with jerk chicken, grapes, green apples, and French bread! After that I just don’t need dinner. The buffalo shrimp and seared tuna are tasty also! The service is always top notch! They are famous for their Stoli Doli’s it’s basically pineapple soaking in Stoli vodka… They limit to 2.(however I have watched a few people get over served hee hee)! They make a mean martini, and have a nice wine and beer selection. The people watching in the bar can be very entertaining too! There is valet parking which is a nice touch. Like I said… it’s a solid place with consistent food!

I really love Redstone. This is one of my family’s go-to restaurants for a fun occasion! We all went here for my birthday this year, and it was delicious as usual! One thing I’ll say right off the bat… GETTHEBUFFALOSHRIMP. This is probably the biggest reason I love this place. It is SOGOOD. I should just order it as my entrée every time. We order the platter to share as a table each time we come and I have to control myself not to inhale the whole platter. It is perfection. This time I had the ahi tuna as my entrée, and they were thick pieces that were delicious! My mom had a chicken dish with mashed potatoes on the side and that was really good as well. I haven’t had anything here that I don’t like! Also, their cornbread is so good(not as sweet as some other places), and the butter that comes with is amazing. For dessert, we had the cookie sundae and the banana cream pie. They are both amazing, but the banana cream pie is my all time favorite! Heaven in a bowl! Overall, I love Redstone and I always will. Buffalo Shrimp forever and ever.

The food almost looks skimpy at first glance, but I promise it’s only because the plates are HUGE. I had the Smokehouse Steak Salad at lunch today — absolutely delicious. Not many places around that you would drive 20 miles back just for a salad. YUM. Also noteworthy, lunch prices are reasonable. I know this place has a reputation of being spendy, but most lunches were under $ 20.
