I had a one night stay here in September and would definitely recommend it to those looking for a clean and comfortable stay on Orcas Island. Not to mention the view is incredible!!! Upon my arrival I was surprised to see someone still at the check in desk. I had been told since I was checking in after their business hours they would just leave the key for me in a box, turns out the nice manager had waited for me! She was very friendly and asked if we needed any assistance booking activities or where to eat. The Orca Room was adequately stocked with: coffee maker, coffee grounds, drinking glasses, ice bucket, tv, information book with restaurants and activity recommendations and last but certainly not least a great patio with a table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful water view. They are located near Rosario Resort(who purchased them a few months ago) and within close driving distance to Moran State Park. Hopefully when the rooms become renovated to join Rosario Resort they will still keep a reasonable price!

For a family of 4 who are simple, low maintenance travelers, Cascade Harbor Inn was the perfect place to stay on Orcas Island. We rented a «suite» of 3 rooms; two rooms with 2 queen sized beds and private bathroom apiece, and a third room that consisted of a full bathroom, small kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace, with a murphy bed in the living room, if needed. Each of the rooms had a spacious deck with a view of the water and nearby Rosario Resort. Yes, the furnishings were simple and nothing fancy. However, the rooms were clean, quiet(ok, post Labor day) and there was plenty of space for everyone. Free wireless internet and free local phone calls. There were coffee makers and TVs in each room, plenty of soft, clean, fluffy towels. The office staff were very nice and accommodating, and they offer complimentary hot beverages and a small library of books, movies and board games to enjoy in your rooms. Best part was the price. This was an incredibly affordable option in terms of space, and when compared to prices at other inns, B&Bs and«hotels» on the island. My family certainly got our money’s worth, with eating breakfasts in our«suite», or making excursions back and forth between Deer Harbor, Eastsound, hiking Mt. Constitution in Moran State Park, or having the ability to take a nap before dinner. I would definitely return to Cascade Harbor Inn!

This place gets a 4 star based on its location and the view. We attended a wedding at Rosario and it was a quick walk down! The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed is pretty good, but not the most comfortable in the support department. The rooms have big patios with chairs and tables. Very relaxing and beautiful. The staff was super friendly, we had a booking issue and they resolved the situation and we were pleased. Upon our departure we were running a bit behind to catch the shuttle, and she offered to call the shuttle personally to ensure they would wait for us! Great service and amazing views and sounds of the ocean!

There are positives for Cascade Harbor Inn — The Staff was nice and friendly, they provide a fire log for rooms with a fireplace each day, and our views of Rosario from our room were very pretty. However, the rooms are sadly outdated, and the level of the finish out is Motel 6 level at best. Our«Suite» was nothing more then two connecting rooms, and there was little to no audio privacy between our rooms, or between any of the other rooms at the Inn. Inn is a very misleading name, these are pretty ugly 70’s style apartments that have no association whatsoever with the word«Inn» — other then the fact that people stay there. The continental breakfast was also mediocre. They promised fresh fruit, but only had some apples available, not even any bananas. For an area with such amazing Berries and other fruit, it was really disappointing to see such a poor selection. Also they don’t start breakfast until 8:00AM, so for anyone wanting to get a jump on their day, you were out of luck. At over $ 300.00 a night for our«Suite» I would not return, the price was outrageous for what we found.

My husband and I loved it here !! Quiet, beautiful view, roomy, full kitchen, full dining area, and although furnishings are worn and old. nothing appeared dirty. Had a great view, the staff/employees were friendly, and helpful. Deer roamed the property. The walls do seem thin. would not have been as enjoyable if we had had neighbors next door. Will definitely look forward to going back!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Cascade Harbor Inn. While it is not the most up-to-date or fancy accomodations, the rooms are big and clean, the people are friendly and knowledgeable, and the view from every room is BEAUTIFUL. The website is pretty telling of the quality of the Inn. Overall, great experience.
