I don’t see the«legend» The burgers had was bland. As was the fries, limp and tasteless. I suspect they are going for a nostalgia 50s thing. Old people food. The fast food places next door would have been better.

Reliable and fresh food, never disappointed, the fries are a little blah but the grilled chicken salad is amazing and the coneys are always fresh. Never had a bad onion out of this place.

The former Legends has burned down and now there is only a drive-thru(they are currently rebuilding the former Legends). I’m not kidding when I think their chili and hot dogs are LEGENDARY. The hot dog has incredible taste and an awesome snap that I can only compare to Lafayette. The chili may be even better … it’s smooth, creamy, meat-only chili that I could pretty much eat every day of my life. I really don’t know what else to say. I haven’t been to Legends(like the other reviewer, because like I said, they had a fire), but I have had their food, and I believe they have THEBEST coney dog. If you’re feeling onion rings, THOSE are really good too.

Legends is a strange café hidden down an unsuspecting portion of 9 mile. They’ve got an attractive restaurant with comfy booths and a giant fish tank. Who doesn’t love fishtanks? Everything’s inexpensive here. You can get a pretty decent meal for under $ 10, and that’s as good of a reason as any to dine here. I was really pleased with the service as well. I didn’t expect such a small place to have as good of service as Legends, but our food came out really quick, and the waitress was really great to us. A+ service. The food’s pretty good. It’s diner food, for sure, but on the higher end of diner. Their fish sandwich tastes a lot better than any other diner I’ve had one at, including National Coney. That’s saying a lot, because most of the stuff at National I like. It’s kind of out of the way though, in that it’s so far down 9 mile and not very close to anything I’m ever doing. But you know, whatever. That’s my fault for not living closer! I just wish they were open later than they are. If they were an all-night diner, I’m sure I would’ve came to Legends instead of Linda’s. However, I’m glad I can still grab lunch here from time to time.
