Horrible.
Not because I didn’t win, I don’t care about having a stupid drunk in public ticket as the worst thing they can do is fine you. The only reason I retained counsel is because it was issued ten feet from the door of Drinky’s as I was getting into my designated drivers car.
The one star is for service. I was assigned Paul Bender, and came in for the consultation. I explicitly told him I lived in Los Angeles. As the days went by I received a call from a paralegal, oops they went to extend the court date but didn’t realize I didn’t live there.
The day of court comes and I hear nothing from anyone. I have to call them to figure out what happened five days later. At this juncture Paul is dry, and very dismissive like a used car salesman who sold you a lemon when you come back to complain. All I needed was to be told to pay a fine or have a bench warrant issued, something I should probably be informed of.
They just want your money, not a big surprise for lawyers; Do yourself a favor and find one that can at least pretend like they care, return your calls, or at the very least notify you of any legal responsibilities incurred by the legal debacle you hired them to represent you for.
