Deanna was rude to myself and one of my sisters. She had business with my whole family but all of us stopped. She was a good hairdresser but had bad manners and rude.

Deanna is an amazing stylist & great with color too. She always makes sure you are comfortable with the plan. Everyone at the salon is very friendly.

They saved my weekend! Friday night I decided I wanted caramel highlights so I bought loreal at the store and spent over an hour once I washed it out my dark hair was now blonde !! I cried all night it looked horrible I looked like a damn cheetah ! Saturday morning I called every salon and no one would take me finally I called pelo and I got an appointment ! When I walked in to the salon it was beautiful! The staff was very nice and offered beverages. The hair stylist was very nice her name was Samantha she was great! We had to do my hair twice but omg I love my color! Everyone loves it my husband even though he hates dark colors loves it! it’s a red cola color and I’m in love ! Once this fades I’ll be going back to Samantha for a touch up !! Thank you so much for saving my weekend !!!

I have been going to Deanna at Pelo now for over 4 years. She is fantastic! Not only is she an amazing stylist, she is a great business woman. She calls me before my appointment to remind me and also follows up after EVERY visit to make sure I am happy with my hair. I live outside of Boston and continue to make the drive to the south shore to see her. I would recommend Deanna to anyone looking for a great cut or color.

Pelo does it all… hair, manis & pedis, massages, skin and waxing. The interior design is very earthy and comfortable thanks to Allison, the lovely owner with exquisite taste. A fireplace & large flatscreen tv make the waiting area even more inviting. Almost always, you’ll find complimentary snacks & coffee in their small café’ish spot. Pelo is a very busy place and all of the ladies are exceptional at what they do. For almost 14 yrs now, I’ve been going to Deanna. Obviously, I’m partial to her and would recommend Deanna to anyone seeking a new hairstylest, handsdown. She truly takes pride in her craft and follows up to make sure you’re happy with the finished product everytime. There are many others who do just the same at Pelo… you’ll just have to make an appointment and see for yourself!

Went here for the first time over a month ago and it was great. Don’t be fooled by the outside, the building is really deceiving. Half of the building is a post office and the salon is over to the right.
The salon is beautiful, sitting area with a fireplace. They have a little café area where you can make yourself some coffee or they make it for you.
I saw Tammy Morrissey and she gave me a great cut, it even grew in nicely. I probably won’t be going back since I leave really far away… just so happened I had won a gift certificate.
