Paint Rust & Pixie Dust

It’s the best store! There are so many neat things that you can’t find anywhere else. The employees are the best; so helpful, informative, and friendly. You can’t get customer service like this at the big stores and the Annie Sloan chalk paint is the best furniture paint I’ve found yet, so much better than «competitive» products at Lowes.
This store is completely unique. Their products are so high quality and I find really cool vintage items! Shopping small is working great for me, thank you so much to the lovely staff for all your help!

I am so sad to have to give this adorable little store 1 star. However, I spent $ 130.00 on a brush, 1 sanding bar, and a quart of chalk paint. Yikes! But that’s not the problem. The problem is when I returned the following day to exchange the paint color and was told Absolutely not as the store owner pointed to the little paper sign that read, «no returns or exchanges» & muttered something about the integrity of the paint.
I get that policy for furniture and design goods, but for an unopened can of really small and really expensive paint??? when all I want to do is exchange the color?
The best part is when she suggest I buy a new really expensive quart of paint and «mix the 2 colors». Ummm. no!
The worst part is that I could have gone to Lowes and bought the chalk paint for $ 3.00 and instead opted to support my local small business.
Next time, I’ll just go to Lowes. This is why the big box stores win. Not only are they able to supply us with more affordable options but they also have reasonable exchange policies.
