Basically my favorite restaurant in Easton… and one of the top ones anywhere. Been coming here for years. Consistently great cocktails. Consistently amazing food. Consistently good service. It’s all about consistency.(Anything you get will be awesome!)

What a great find!!! First time here and all four that ate agreed we’d go back in a heart beat. Owner/manager made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Didn’t have reservstions so were put in the lower level, not as much activity but still nice an more quiet. Food was fabulous, truffle mushroom soup, ocean salad, diver scallops, halibut, lobster ravioli, lemon bar dessert an crème brulé(one of the best I’ve ever had). Highly recommend Ocean, little pricey but totally worth it.

I grew up in Wilson,(Easton) area but moved away 24 years ago. After sampling foods in 103 countries I can’t believe that Ocean is in my hometown. The food and service rivals some of the finest restaurants in the world. I started with the octopus bruschetta. The meat was so tender and flavorful. It only got better as my main course, the seared duck breast arrived. The duck was expertly prepared and held an amazing flavor that was not gamey at all. I would be remiss if I didn’t also mention the wild mushroom risotto cake it was served upon. It was incredible! Sara our server was personable and helped our party navigate the menu for our tastes. The only part of the meal that I did not feel was outstanding was the crème brule desert. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good just not the best I have had. I will definitely return when visiting family.

This was the only place open on a Monday evening. Our plan was to go to Sette Lune a nearby Italian place that the hotel recommended. Sette Lune was closed so we walked down a couple of doors to Ocean. What can I say… seafood in Easton, PA. Overall it was good. Friendly staff but food was too«designer» inspired. However for Easton I’m sure a big deal. I will say the lobster bisque was excellent and the truffle fries were very good. But our main dinners could be better. The Ocean Burger with a fried egg was OK. My dinner companion said it was just OK. I had the duck over a wild rice risotto cake. The duck was fine but the risotto cake was very greasy, I would say made way ahead of time as it had a refrigerator taste and it was heavy. Also, beware of the street parking. It is highly enforced until 8pm. Unusual for most municipalities. But Easton, PA is not like most municipalities. Frankly it is a sad town. The police traffic unit nailed me with a parking violation just before the 8pm hour. Thanks Boys in Blue! You’re doing a lot to make many of us out of town business visitors feel welcome! You’re out there doing your job. Never thought a parking meter would go so late but very difficult to read the time limits on a dark unlit street. So Unilocalers… bring your quarters!

This is definitley the most sophisticated restaurant in Easton. The atmosphere is quiet and intimate. The servers are professional and enjoy making recommendations. The food is good. The short ribs are my favorite. The calamari is a generous portion-plenty for two people. Chip is very attentive and will do his best to fulfill requests if you make them.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant. Very rarely do I treat myself to a good meal, and I am glad I visited Ocean. The food was delicious(I ordered the lobster mac and cheese) and the service was impeccable. We were a table of 10, and the wait staff was able to handle the extra demand. I can not wait to visit Ocean again, I already know what I am ordering!

I found this place to be okay. I wouldn’t say it was above average. The food was just alright, the drinks were good and the service was friendly. We were fairly disappointed in the calarmari which surprised me given the raving reviews about it. I liked that they were lightly breaded, however they were mostly soggy and chewy especially the ones that sat underneath. It was hard to enjoy however the sauces it came with were tasty. My husband also ordered the dijon shrimp appetizer. Again, it tasted alright however their«crostini» was really just like bagel chips. I ordered the ocean burger for dinner. It was very good but very hard to eat as it is stacked so high. The fries were tasty as well. My husband got the lobster, shrimp and scallops raviolis. He enjoyed them however was a bit disappointed in the size. He ordered a full portion size and recieved 6 raviolis. Not to mention that this was a fairly expensive entrée. I can’t imagine what the ½ poriton looked like. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience, though I do feel their menus are incredibly overpriced for what you actually receive.

I am always impressed by Ocean. The staff is wonderful and the food is fantastic! It is a gorgeous restaurant and perfect for a date night or night out with friends. The staff is very attentive and they cater the service to your needs. If you’re looking for a fun new drink definitely try the Fire & Ice! I am looking forward to trying the Short Ribs next and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed as the Tuna & Swordfish were both DELICIOUS!!!

After a bad first experience years ago I have been here twice in the past few months. The food is excellent, as is the service and the bar menu. I love that they always have so many different specials and they are prepared fresh. Recently they had a great groupon, too!

This place is definitely more new American despite the name(we were expecting more of a seafood restaurant). For the apps, we ordered the Caesar salad, calamari, lobster mac and cheese. The calamari was good but would’ve been better if it was crispier and the mac and cheese was more like cheese and risotto. By the time we finished the apps and I got my short ribs, I was stuffed so I took most of it back home. 4 stars for the food, but the service really bumps it up to 5. The staff is extremely attentive and cheerful. My dad dropped his napkin and one of the waitresses immediately brought him a new one without asking. I’d recommend making a reservation. We were lucky that we went early enough that they were able to accommodate us without one.

My first time here and it won’t be my last time. I heard and read reviews on this restaurant was and it lived up to the hype. I called in on a Friday to make reservation and they were able to make it happen on such short notice, which was excellent. The service was wonderful and attentive. I never had once had to ask for a refill and was always taken care of. We order 4 appetizers, house made meatballs, lobster Mac and cheese, the calamari, and truffle fries. Every dish was tasteful. For our entrees I had the highly rave ocean burger and my wife had seafood ravioli. The burger was seasoned and cooked to the right temperature as ask. My wife didn’t have any complaints about her entrée. Thank you for a great service and meal.

SPECTACULAR!!! One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. FOOD– INCREDIBLE… DRINKS– SUBLIME… SERVICE– STELLAR… AMBIANCE– PERFECT Strawberry Basil Cooler, Lemon Sage(I had them omit the simple syrup & Lemonade), They were amazing! We had the Tuna & Crab Napoleon & Lobster Empanadas for small plates, We shared the Lobster, Shrimp and Scallop Ravioli. Each dish was delectable! We finished with Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie. I want to eat through the entire menu! The owner was in house and greeted each guest warmly. The staff seemed genuinely glad to be there with and to assist us! I can’t wait to go back!

I’ll start by saying WOW — what a GEM of a restaurant! I’m a Foodie, go to NYC a lot, and I’m well versed in all things food. I have to say that this restaurant totally exceeded my expectations! First, we were greeted by SUCH a pleasant woman — Devin, who turned out to be our waitress(we were early — 5:00 pm). Her attention to every detail, her knowledge of the menu, particular food pairings, and the chef’s preparation of every dish, was SO refreshing and appreciated. True professional who is very passionate about her vocation — fantastic! Started with the octopus, which was SPECTACULAR. Very particular about my octopus, and this dish was off the charts great. Tender, with an AMAZING flavor profile. A very vibrant dish which I would eat twice each day if I could! Had a mussel special, which was awesome. Nice, CLEAN, large mussels in a beer broth with chorizo and tasty croutons — really a wonderful dish!!! Had 2 entrées — the scallops, and then the pappardelle with shrimp. Both of these — EXCELLENT. The scallops were diver scallops, PERFECTLY seared until caramelized, served over what I can only describe as CRAZYGOOD risotto! Holy awesomeness!!! The pappardelle with shrimp — EXCELLENT flavor profile and FANTASTIC! The shrimp were cooked PERFECTLY — most restaurants kill the shrimp to the point where they’re not edible. Ocean NAILED this dish! Had the cobbler and the vanilla crème brûlée for desert — BOTH excellent! Our waitress told us that they were prepared in-house by a young pastry chef who had graduated from a local culinary school. REALLY good, and appreciate the knowledge of staff credentials! Other notable things. GREAT wine list and full bar. Small, but important detail — owner came over to introduce himself and chat for a few! He was very complimentary of his staff, and rightfully so. Service was EXCEPTIONAL! Cutlery and dishes were SPOTLESS! Special mention to our waitress Devin who helped guide us to a spectacular meal, and wonderful experience!!! VERY rare to find such a pleasant, knowledgeable professional — really wonderful!!! My only regret is that I wasn’t able to physically eat anymore — because I wanted to taste SO many more items on the menu! All the more reason to go back — and that is GUARANTEED!

The burger. The lobster mac and cheese. Everything is amazing at this place. The steak is just right. The service is good 95% of the time, I had a 1 bad service experience but the waitress is no longer there. The owner is also very accommodating.

The epitome of a well run restaurant. Ocean has excellent service and the food continues to impress me. Tonight I had the short ribs with cipollini onions over the most amazing and smooth mashed potatoes topped with fresh scallion. Pull apart tender– didn’t even need a knife. I wish they served the Demi glaze in a wine glass because I could’ve drank it straight. My father had the special of the night, Ocean’s version of seafood pot pie. Listen here, there was NOTHING homely about this dish. It was upscale and choc full of whole pieces of lobster, scallops, shrimp and meaty cod in a brandy cream. This was topped with their homemade puff pastry. 2 stars for their pomegranate martini though. Maybe the bartender was having an off night because I always order this and it’s usually amazing and refreshing. The owner is HANDSON and makes sure everyone is having a great experience while managing the staff very well. Pricey yes, but worth it– YES!

I’ve come to expect the worst from the Easton Area as far as food goes. But I’m always up to give a new place a shot. Ocean was a wonderful meal! The first I’ve had in Easton, PA after about 10 of them. Had braised short ribs that were delicious and my wife had a fish special that she loved as well. The special drinks they had were delicious and the service was wonderful. Only bad part is that the place is very… «cozy». We were sandwiched inches away from several couples, one of which was a bit loud and annoying. not the locations fault just my bad luck to catch a couple of bad customers. Recommended highly to all who want to try it!

Given all the raving reviews for this place, I was really disappointed in the food. Service was friendly and prompt and the décor was nice but the food was underwhelming. We ordered the Buffalo wings based on a recommendation from our server… they were REALLY dry. We didn’t even finish our order. The calamari was really greasy and oily. The perogie/potato empanada was also on the dry side. The only thing we even kind of liked was the meatballs. We had planned to order an entrée but given our experience with the tapas we decided to pass. Would not recommend given the cost and quality.

We ate at Ocean last night and it was delicious! We were able to make a reservation in the late afternoon for 8:00 that night. We walked in and it was cozy with lots of candles. The food is wonderful: the braised short ribs melt are so tender that a knife is not needed. The potatoes that come with the meat are smooth and flavorful and all for $ 21.00 We also ordered the lobster, scallop, and shrimp ravioli. The ravioli were on the bigger size but for $ 21.50 you only receive 6 of these yummy ravioli covered in a creamy sherry sauce that you’ll want to soak up with your bread! The bartender has a list of handcrafted cocktails(we did not order one) and bottled beers. Great place for date night or meeting with a small group of friends.

Had dinner here about a week ago. There is some seating outside and inside. Very cozy inside to have a nice romantic dinner with a bar that compliments the entire room. It’s pricy but the food is delicious. The fries with dipping sauce was awesome! Best fries we ever had. I had the red snapper and it was the best red snapper I ever had. We thought the portions would be tiny but to our amazement, everyone left full! We did not have time to try any desserts. I wish there were more options on the menu. The menu is pretty limited, but again, the food was delicious! We parked around the corner in the paid parking lot. The parking lot looked safe and well lit. It’s also accross from the police station which is a bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this place a try. We will definately be taking out of town guests here to dine again!
