Awesome sandwiches. I used to live right across the street and stopped in as often as possible.

I have a client in Easton so I started coming here a lot. It’s a beautiful small town with surprisingly excellent food options for its size. I went to Joe’s this morning for breakfast. As Rob R. noted, the interior is very Spartan and the woman up front has not smiled in several decades. I asked if they could do an egg and cheese sandwich. They said yes, but three times confirmed I wasn’t asking for an egg salad sandwich. I then watched the apocalypse happen. The«cook» cracked two eggs in a coffee cup. He added a healthy dose of whole milk. He whipped them six times with a spoon. Then he threw the whole concoction in the microwave for two minutes. The monster that came out was placed on a roll with ham and cheese and thrown towards me on the counter. I actually had to throw the thing out after one bite. I don’t know how to ask someone«Are you going to microwave that?» without being a huge jerk… but yikes. There are better options all over Centre Square.

I’m reviewing this place based on «take-out» rather than«dine-in.» There is certainly nothing flashy about this place, I might even call it dingy. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall, and could certainly use some updating inside. It also couldn’t hurt if the woman behind the counter could crack a smile once in awhile. However, the sandwiches are meaty, made quickly, delicious, and are well worth the $ 5 — $ 5.50. This isn’t the type of place where I would want to sit and dine. Take your sandwich up to the fountain at the circle or to one of the parks along the river, that is where you should enjoy this sandwich. As a «take-out» place, it is a strong 3 or a weak 4. I gave it a 4 since I’m the first review. If I rated this place as «dine-in» I would probably give it 2 stars.
