Lehigh Canal boat tour (twin «engine» mule driven) is informative. Worth the nominal fee to get the amazing history of the start of the U.S. industrial revolution. An absolutely pleasant experience. The new museum shows kids and adults alike the physics and engineering challenges of the 19th century in this newly independent country. Hands on quality exhibits. Don’t miss it. Give yourself time to absorb the essence of it all.

Lovely park. Some nice relaxing trails there. There is a section that offers boat rides with some paddles boats and canoes available. I also saw a children’s party going on there, underneath a gazebo. I am not sure if you need to approve anything with the town for that type of event though.
