Dawn Morello’s Crowning Glory

First, let’s get the ambiance out of the way — Dawn’s is not a particularly high class looking salon. It’s in a pretty good location, but it is not well decorated; it is kind of cramped and could use a face-​lift.
Putting that aside, let’s focus on Dawn and the quality of her work. This is a traditional «beauty shop» and I went there to take my mother, but decided I needed my haircut, and I was there, so why not? There were a couple of other men there, so I didn’t feel strange about it.
Dawn was able to look at me and know exactly how to cut my hair so it was most flattering and pulled it off easily. Personally, I think it looks great — we’ll see what my wife thinks when I get back to Chicago next week.
Dawn’s does mainly handle women, and she specializes in hairpieces and wigs. She does an outstanding job, so don’t be put off by the appearance of the salon. Dawn is the best.
