Love Aldis — I find there prices to be fair for the quality. There brands are way more trust worth then local super market brands like shop rite. They have gluten free and tuns of organic stuff ! Mainly why I go there. I went the first week and they didn’t have my organic banana pops! HIGHLYRECOMMENDED! But when I returned the manger I guess ordered them in. That’s what true management does! Thank you!

Let me explain aldi’s for people who don’t know exactly what the store is. They take name brand items see how they sell in the store and if they do well they repackage them with their brand and charge a lower price. They are usually company and factory items that have been over stocked in name brand companies, aldis buys them for a lower price in turn sells them at a lower price to the public. Hence saving money. It’s not a «normal» grocery store and you do have to bag your own Groceries and put a quarter in for a cart which u do get back only to keep cost down on «cart pushers.» Unfortunately the store is not for everyone but saving money is saving money especially on the prices of food today. They usually are a small store so their limited on space and what they can carry but the essentials are still there priced fairly. They do run sales ads every week and also carry other non food items, such as kitchen ware, household items, bedroom items, toys for the holidays, plants, and other items to name a few. It’s not a store to main shopping in but you can get a bulk of your shopping done especially if you’re on a budget. They only take cash, debit and ebt. No credit cards. If you’ve never been to one check them out and see for yourself. Employees are always pleasant and check out lines are usually really quick. If you have a large family and can’t afford to spend what normal stores charge or even if your a small family aldis is a great place to save money. The aisles are long but wide enough so your not fighting for cruising space with one another and the set up flows nicely. Displays are east to see for prices so you don’t have to chase anyone down for a price check. Every week thwy cut prices on normal items that aren’t in the flyer so be on the look out. Definitely glad they are in the area. Check them out if you get a chance you never know what u will find.

For supposedly the best grocery chain in North America… I remain unimpressed. This being only my second visit to an Aldi’s with it’s spare«warehouse“layout and unrecognizable home/European/off brands leaves me a bit uneasy as I have no frame of reference as to quality control and ingredients of those brands. Prices however are very good on staples and snacks… Which Aldi’s apparently excels in as the first aisle features an epic selection of snacks, potato chips and off brand sweets. Soda and juice aisle held some very imaginative knock off selections also. Dairy and frozen foods are well stocked with just about every category of cheese, cold cuts and snacks all but a few national brands and the fresh meats held a lot of poultry but light on pricier proteins and prime cuts. Bring a quarter to use the shopping carts and your own shopping bags as not even boxes are offered as did the Bottom Dollar Aldi’s bought used to supply. I’ll stick with Costco for my Warehouse experience… at least they give free samples.
