Why all the hate on Dema Liquors?(Is it Dema or De Ma??) Out of the 4 liquor stores in the area, this is the largest and by far the nicest. I walk in today and there is classical music playing. Big, big wine selections as well as a great liquor selection. Today I bought a Chambord, to stock up for Christmas. Its the same price as the other liquor store around the corner, its high but competitive. Come here and buy a bottle of Prosecco for the holidays. Support your local community and business

Dema is in the King Kullen Shopping center on RT25A. It is an easy in and out with plenty of parking [please don’t drink and park or drive]. Jeff is a very knowledgeable wine merchant and is eager to make recommendations. If you don’t like to ask questions the wine is labeled with summaries of their attributes. The prices seem competitive but, hey, how would I know. But alas, being knowledgeable is not enough when you let it drift to «know better than the customer» So this retail experience falls short. Expect that if the phone rings when you are at the counter the owners wife /cashier will find her friend or family more important tan you. You pick up the steaks at King Kullen, wine at Dema, bread at Wild by Nature { it’s good bread for Long Island} and gas for the grill at Ace Hardware all in the same shopping center. Life is good!
