Really Cooking with Robin

I had a ball! Better then I expected, Robyn & Joe were wonderful. Sangria was awesome! We made Mozzarella (pizza) and Ricotta (fritters). Our surprise desert was berry cobbler and was it delicious. Great date night. can’t wait to do it again.

Joe and Robin were great. Joe kept us laughing and Robin taught us a hole bunch of cooking tips. We did the filling and grilling and made three different types of burgers. We even had a brownie for desert. We had lots of fun and a great meal. Thanks guys we will be back.

Really Cooking with Robin offers cooking instruction in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It is geared toward the home cook, so ingredients, cookware, etc. are the sort of things most people have available from the grocery store or in their own kitchen.
This business has been rather creative in offering a mix of services: Two of us attended an evening class which centered on Chef Ramsay’s beef wellington, which we prepared and cooked (and ate!). Beverages and hors d’houerves were provided before hand, and we watched that evening’s episode of Chef Ramsay’s «Hell’s Kitchen» television program on Really Cooking with Robin’s flat screen. Robin also served a tasty desert, and sent us recipes for all of the things we had eaten via e-​mail.
I don’t know what the maximum number of people per class is, but they could certainly handle at least a dozen at once.

SO MUCH FUN! My friends and I were planning a bachelorette party and wanted to do a cooking class that was nearby and not in the city. We came upon Really Cooking with Robin and registered right away! Her website has everything you need to know and there are so many different themed classes that you can take. Also, the prices are VERY reasonable. We went in excited and the place is very cute, spacious, bright, and clean. Also, plenty of parking since it’s in a little shopping area. Robin and Joe are WONDERFUL! They are super nice, personable and had us laughing throughout the whole night! We took the Land & Sea class and since I don’t eat meat, I emailed with Robin before class and they are very accommodating if you are a vegetarian or pescatarian. I was able to substitute the filet mignon for mahi mahi. The food was so yummy! They even provided cheese & jalapeño dip with nachos as an app, a delicious sangria (which we kept eating and drinking throughout the class cause they were THAT good) and the best blueberry crumb pie that I’ve ever tasted. The class is very laid back and Robin teaches you different tips and techniques. They have everything you need and you go through the recipes step by step. We cannot WAIT to go back for another class. You can even have private parties. Come here with friends/​family, to meet new people, or if you’re a newbie at cooking or an expert. you will have a fun time!

My bridesmaids brought me here for the Land & Sea class and it was SO much fun! Robin and Joe have the perfect personalities to do what they are doing… they are extremely personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. They take you through each recipe step by step and teach you pointers along the way. I can finally chop an onion! The recipes are easy to follow and the end result was DELICIOUS! This is a great place for date night, girls’ day/​night out, parties, and team building and there are a variety of different classes — you can pick whatever suits your taste buds! It’s also a fun way to meet other people who are a part of the class. We would love to come back with our significant others. Highly recommended!

My wife and I did a date night here and learned to make our own mozzarella! Robin was a great instructor, not only demonstrating everything for us but giving us tips during the process. We ended up using the cheese to make a caprice salad, personal pizzas and a roulade to take home. In addition, Robin & her husband Joe supplied sangria, some delicious artichoke & jalapeño dip and what was probably the best brownie I’ve ever eaten. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I dreamt about being full that night!
The space is great; well lit, plenty of room to cook & eat and all the materials you need within arms reach. What really made the night for us was Robin & Joe’s warm and friendly personalities. They truly care about your experience while learning to make these delicious dishes. I can’t wait to come back for round 2!

My husband found this place a while back, and it took us a while to make it down. I’ve been doing several cooking classes lately at Sur la Table. I’ve enjoyed them, but with Robin it’s a totally different experience. Her concept is that it’s like going to a friend’s house to cook, which is exactly what she achieves. She teaches you to cook while working with the same circumstances you’ll have at home, one oven, maybe a significant other around to offer a hand now and then, and ingredients bought from local stores. The shop is warm, spacious, perfect for a private event or joining in one of her scheduled classes, she provides wine (delicious sangria), an appetizer, and dessert. While you’re cooking it’s all hands on, no need to worry about taking notes, she emails it all to you afterwards.
This is exactly the kind of locally owned business that you feel good about supporting. Robin will host a private event and is completely open to ideas and tailoring the experience for you. She does lots of work with the community and with kids.
Overall, great way to spend a free night, will definitely go back.

My husband and I took the Thai class and loved it! Robin and Joe truly make you feel welcome. All of the food was excellent! We can’t wait to go back!

I went there with my wife and some relatives and friends. We had a great time. Robin started with the basics for those of us who were not well versed in the kitchen. She taught us techniques that we could use instantly at home and improve the way we prep and cook every day meals.
The sangria upon arrival was really good, as well as was the jalapeño cheese dip that she had waiting for us when we walked in. We had a Thai themed dinner, including a salad, appetizers and the main course. Robin led the charge, but allowed us to do as little or as much as we wanted to for the prep.
The food was great. The service was friendly. Both Robin and Joe were welcoming from the first minute, and by the end of the meal we were chatting so much that we stayed 30 minutes after we were done eating. This place is definitely recommended for a date night or a group outing. My wife said she wants to come back for a girls night out.

My husband and I went last night and we had such a nice time. Robin and Joe are the sweetest people. We learned how to make a grilled Caesar salad (homemade dressing), lobster mac n cheese, and a pb brownie sundae. Her sangria was wonderful! I would rather come here than go out to a restaurant. Robin is so talented and I can’t say enough good things about our night! I already want to go back :)

We just had a SECOND birthday party here! First Miss Robin and Mr. Joe are WONDERFUL! They are great with the kids and soooo nice! A real pleasure to do business with them! We had a party for our six year old in January. My eight year old had so much fun, she wanted hers there as well! We had 10 kids and they all had a great time. We made pizza pockets and decorated cupcakes. While we were waiting the kids got to make popcorn and had juice from a fountain! There was music playing the whole time and they could even sing karaōke! If you want you can also bring your own music or iPod. There is a nice area for parents to sit and chat or you can go over to the cooking area and watch. They even make some extra treats for the adults!
