Went for brunch made reservations for 1 o’clock Got to the table on time so far so good. Order our brunch 20 minutes later(because waiting for ordering no one came to take it) we order stuff from the menu and an hour later finely the food arrive nothing to wow for and for omlet wasn’t cook and pancakes were dry. Maybe because mother’s day but if you know you have reservations you expect to get serviced on time. Next time go to Friendly’s across the packing it’s probably will be a better choice.

A lot of things on the menu sound really good but the food just isn’t as tasty as it seems like it should be. I keep trying and keep wondering why I bother. 3⁄2016 — I’ll update to give them some credit for brunch. Good stuff. 5⁄16 — So inconsistent. My SO got the same thing he ordered and really enjoyed in March and it was beyond mediocre today. My omelette was overcooked and really light on cheese. I’m back to wondering why we bother going here.

Was here Saturday evening to drop by again for a dinner date. Just as good as it was when I visited mid week. Definitely busier. The one thing I will say is the service was definitely on point. Bartenders/servers were extremely friendly. Food was still fresh and delicious. Great environment. Good food/fresh food.

Nice little gastropub in the burbs. On the outside you might mistake it for a kids store, but on the inside it is a very rustically hip bar. Nice cocktails and beer selection and fun apps. I recommend the fried pickles and the wings and nachos were good too. I don’t recommend the salmon tacos.

I always loved the Guppy’s in Conshohocken and had no idea this one existed until I stumbled by it when going to the restaurant next to it, and I’m so glad I did! The food is amazing. It always tastes so fresh, tasty, and unique to this place. We came here for lunch and you can get 3 apps for 10 bucks which is a great deal. The fried pickles are the BEST! So crunchy, not too spicy, with awesome dipping sauce. The soup, sliders, and quesadillas are also great. I haven’t been here for dinner, but if it’s anything like the Conshy location, I’m sure it’s great. Always good drink selections and a great atmosphere. I can’t imagine this bar gets the same night life crowd as conshy but that might be a good thing. I definitely would like to come back one night for happy hour and hang out at the bar. Good atmosphere, food, drinks, and service.

Went out to grab Phở and the place was closed on Mondays. So Guppies seemed logical since it was next door. We ordered guac as an app and we were not impressed. First the chips were stale and the guac had 0 flavor. I ordered a burger without the bun and got a burger without anything on it… AND maybe the smallest portion of fries I’d ever seen. My plate went back to the kitchen 2 times before they got it right. But since it had to keep getting reheated, the lettuce and tomato were soggy and gross. Considering burgers are 1⁄3 of their menu, it shouldn’t be that hard to make a burger without bread or any accommodations for food allergy. I’d been there before and had a decent experience. However the staff looked miserable and despite the ridiculousness of the issues with my food they offered 0 apologies.

The food has definitely slipped on quality and portion. Every time we come everything seems to get s little smaller, greasier and not as good. The poutine is 10 for a simple bowl with melted cheese and a dollop of gravy. The ribs tasted fine but there was no meat on the bones, definitely not worth 18. And the burger quesadilla was in a pool of oil and grease. Service was fine. Might give this place a while before trying again. Shame, it was great when they first opened.

Stopped in after a late change in plans Saturday night. One of the specials was a spicy Bouillabaisse. It was incredible! So much so that I asked them to email me the next time it is on the menu. I wouldn’t want to miss it. The chicken fajita salad was also delicious. The staff was right on top of everything. It is a very friendly fun environment.

Went to this place for lunch as it is close to where I work. The place is located in a strip mall right by a Friendly’s. The inside looks nice but, being in a wheelchair, every table inside is high and every chair is a high barstool: the waitress told me the only low tables in the place are the picnic tables outside. This would be fine if I could actually pull my chair under the table and it wasn’t extremely hot and humid out. The saving grace of my lunch there was the food. I got a lunch combo special which consisted of a Caesar Salad, Bay Fries, and Chicken Fingers. Each was delicious and made perfectly. The waitress was really nice and did check up on me as it was really hot outside and was essentially by myself. I have no issues with the food or the service. The only thing I could complain about is the lack of a table inside. If there was a table I could use inside this gastropub, I would definitely be a regular here.

I’ve been working across the street from this place for almost a year, and I finally tried it. I wish I had come in sooner! I loved the décor inside. The tables and chairs were nice; I’m a fan of wood furniture :) Our server was really friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and was so good! I highly recommend the poutine and Gup’s chowder. We also got sliders and fried pickles. So yummy! I wish the desserts were listed on the main menu(I probably should have asked them while placing my order). I deeply regret not asking beforehand because I would’ve tried to save space for dessert :(All the desserts our server mentioned sounded so enticing, but I really didn’t have any room for it! Now I know(and now YOU know, too) for next time. We’re definitely going to be regulars at this place. Great restaurant!

Guppies is kinda going down hill. The breakfast panini was bland, fell apart before the first bite. Nothing on the inside was melted. The coffee was TERRIBLE! Had to ask for the toast & sausage since they didn’t accompany the eggs & potatoes. The Bloody Mary bar was hurting. Some undercooked bacon, warm pearl onions, giant pickles instead of the usual mini gherkins, & of course the most favorite, beef jerky. The big gup burger & fries were good, which was the only redeeming factor. Can’t say I am going to go back for brunch but will give dinner a go.

Came to the East Norrition location for the time because a friend of mine told me about this place and I was nearby so I stopped in. The bartenders were too busy talking to each other and took a while to acknowledge that I even sat down. Had to ask for a menu and drink. The only thing good about the place were all the appetizers are $ 5 for happy hour I ordered the Chicken Nachos… They were Ok, The atmosphere was cool, had a few flat screens at the bar to watch. Over all I think the place is whack just somewhere to grab a quick bite if your hungry

I have to admit, I just keep coming back. I was craving a burger the other night and it was Guppy’s burger at that. I’ve tried different things here, but I always go back to the Wowee Burger. I am disappointed they stopped serving sweet potato fries. I can’t imagine why anyone would ever do that! I started requesting onion rings instead — it’s an okay replacement. My husband thinks they’re seriously overpriced, but we continue to come back so whose really the fool? Thanks for being there for me when I want a day to splurge and eat awesome greasy food!!!

Guppy’s II has a pretty nice beer selection as well as a pretty sweet food menu. I’ve had their poutine fries, chicken & spinach crispito, chicken pot pie and mac and cheese burger — all of it was fantastic. The chicken pot pie is pretty huge and you could probably split one between 2 people. I do have to say that the soup base is much more broth-y than it is creamy but still really delicious! The mac and cheese burger is basically a patty slathered with mac and cheese… you can’t go wrong with that! As far as the drinks go, it seems like they’re pretty big on letting you sample the beer before you actually order. I’ve been on the receiving end of some dirty looks when asking to sample a draft so it’s awesome that they’re all for it here. The service can be hit or miss in the regular dining area but the folks at the bar are pretty on point so I recommend grabbing a seat there.

Everything is super fresh and you can taste the difference. No freezers. Their poutine fries are amazing. Just wish they gave you more. Burgers are 5 stars. Brunch is my favorite. Best breakfast sausage I’ve ever had, and the Bloody Mary bar is seriously impressive.

Came here on a Saturday night, the atmosphere is pretty relaxing for a bar after 10 which I liked because that’s what I prefer. We ordered chicken wings and nachos for appetizers, the wings were pretty good but the nachos were a little on the dry side so I wasn’t a fan. The server wasn’t very friendly so I was a little unimpressed, but I would give it another try.

I added another star because the bartender is friendly and has a great smile! This rating is based solely on impression. WHYISITDEADHEREONTHURSDAY! Even the music is low with no energy. This is such a promising place but needs a serious PROMOTER or EVENTPLANNER. I don’t recognize anyone who was working here when they first opened. And that’s a shame because I felt that ALL their personalities worked well together anf for the business. Stop in and check it out one evening.
