I love their food. Tostones And side salad are included in your order. Try the homemade limeade, so delicious. I always get the fish or the fried chicken. The place is pretty small so I always order to go. Also, never stop between 11−1pm, workers in the area always stop by making it impossible to order or sit in if you want.

La Lechonera is a home style food from Puerto Rico and Santo Domingo. Pros: Daily fresh food, like fried chicken, stew chicken, beef or fish. Salad is included on your lunch. Lots of rise with you order and a choice of red beans or black beans. Cons: No bathroom Small dinning area for eating and the inside needs renovation. I would try it.

We have been twice now and really liked it both times. They have a hot plate for $ 7 and we have gotten ribs, pork roast, and roast chicken. Their food could use a little more seasoning… but I brought my pork home and added a little BB, voila! There was so much meat rice(and beans if you want them) that both times it has lasted me for 2 meals. For the price it has the most amazing meals!

Thus far I have only tried their cow foot soup, fried chicken, and fish. Everything was good! Pros: –Food is tasty(not full of flavor but tasty) –Cow Foot soup is very good but only served on Tuesdays –Fried Chicken is ok –Rotisserie Chicken is good and moist –My BF likes the spaghetti –Fish well seasoned and moist(I typically don’t eat fish outside of my home, but, we ordered it for my mother who wanted the chicken instead) Cons: –Very small place –No menu –Hardly answers the phone –Salad is often watery(just lack of draining the salad properly but at least you know it was washed –Beef, in the beef stew, was dry –Small(did I say that already?! Lol! Despite the cons, I will return! Especially on Tuesdays for the Cow Foot soup!
