Rude little b *tch working the register. She tells me after seeing me standing there with a $ 100 bill out the whole time we were ordering that they don’t accept it. No signs except for a tiny little label maker label that no one would notice. Last time we’ll ever go there. The food is overly salty like they’re trying to mask spoiled meat.

The food was pretty good – I had the Ranch burger with a side of fries. The price was a little high, but what I got was tasty. Service was friendly and I got my food pretty quickly. I will return.

Have been there only once, but found the staff very helpful, professional and polite. The grilled chicken was just fine. The layout of the place is a bit too open for my tastes. I don’t want to sit by the window anywhere & I don’t want to sit by the trash cans or the selling counter. And those were the only seating options here. But, I would go back.

Very good quality burger. Similar style to Five Guys. Very friendly service. I believe Chet took my order. He was very patient and helpful for it being my first time here. I used a coupon and got a free burger. Free refill on sodas. I look forward to coming back. At this point I have nothing bad to say.

Good quality meat, a little pricy if your looking to get a meal. The burger alone won’t fill you up, I got the double Wayback Classic with fries and a drink, the burger was very good but probably could have another burger or so. Service was quick and welcoming joint. Definitely will comeback, enjoy this place more than shake shack 100%.

Blah! This place didn’t have noticeable filth but it certainly didn’t inspire you to feel it was clean. The service was not very good… it’s like we were bothering them by being there. The food was bland. We had a regular burger and a their OctoberFest burger and neither was anything special. The fries were Yawn City.
And for the pleasure of being in an unattractive establishment with unfriendly staff and mediocre at best food, the price was expensive. We do NOT recommend this establishment.

At the risk of sounding like a commercial, this is what I would call an all-​American burger. I had the rodeo which is such a nice blend of fried onion and bbq sauce. Furthermore, I called ahead to order, in the time it took me to go down a few flights of stairs and cross a moderately busy street, the burger was ready. The guy who took my order even told me, «you got here at the perfect moment. I just took it off the grill.»

Jake’s is a joke. How do people pay these prices and eat this burger? The burgers dont even have the flavor of beef. The reason why they give you all those topping on the burger is to cover up the cheap meat. The fries are frozen and are your basic fast food french fries, nothing spectacular. The fresh chips are the only item I like on their menu. Sorry Jake’s, you are way-​wayback on my list of places to eat!

okay so I am on the try every burger on long island trip lol. seriously I’m going to every burger place this year :) anyway this was by far one of my favorites, one of the best, amazing, just omg. I had all american like Monday and this place just blew it out of the water. the fries, the burger, just omg. I don’t know how this place isn’t more well known. people just don’t have good taste in food! my hubs also loved his food and basically agreed about everything.
if you want one of the best burgers of your life come here. thank me later :)

Haven’t been back here in quite a while obv and was in East Ghetto so figured i’d stop by. The service is always friendly and there was one gentleman in particular who was working his ass off on the grill. BUT the burger had zero flavor. Like none at all. The ff were your standard frozen shoestring jammies but the burger was like mushy and weird. I’d rather get one at Shake Shack or One Block East or NY Burger Bar than go here. Wish i wouldn’t have cancelled my Elite event tonight since im feeling much better today oh well.

Love this place. Burgers are delicious. They are freshly made to order. Chips and onion rings are great. Shakes delicious. The burger and shake of the month are great.

I went to jakes about 3 months ago on a Saturday night, it was around 7 pm and I went in to get a burger with their potatoe chips and French fries and it literally took 45 minutes to get my food. They were really backed up on a bunch of orders and I could see a bunch of people getting impatient. I honestly don’t know why I waited that long. And I wasn’t even eating there to stay, it was to go. The burger was average nothing special and the French fries were good. I expected more from this place but I won’t be coming here ever again.

Went here yesterday with wife & daughter 03/​07/​2015 daughter ordered cheesy burger, i ordered pastrami burger, wiife frank it was bigger with fried potato chips, mine with onion rings. NICE Good place me and daughter switched half our burgers they were good!!! Onion rings nice size good!!.chips lil salty good. They a $ 17.99 burger that is so hugh i would not buy its has like 12 burgers stacked. i recommend has other burgers they offer. Will go back.

Yay! Another burger place for me to get my burger fix. I would rate this above Smash Burger and about on par with Five Guys (although I prefer Five Guys’ fries more). The burger was tasty and it seems like the standard is a double burger but you can get a single if you ask for it. Onion rings were crispy (although the BF was not super impressed) and the fries were fine… a little better than average. Forgot to order the house made chips, so have to go back for that.
The downside… they serve Pepsi products.

Just tried the place and I wasn’t sure how to dress thinking it was a sit down joint.
It is but no waiter service.
The food was made to order food with any toppings.
I had the double burger with jalepenos peppers. I saw that you can stack up to 12 burgers on the menu and maybe more.
The employees seemed very nice and they brought over our food when it was done to our table.
Cheese French fries were ok but the onion rings were much better.
Overall the place reminded me if a Johnny Rickets no frills in decorating and the food was fresh (buns, lettuce, tomato, burgers) and I would recommend for a quick bite and free soda refills.

Great burger joint. Its in a shopping complex so there plenty of parking.
My favorite thing about this place is that they have «chips» as a side. These are French fries cut in a really thin circle so they look like almost like a chip. There chips are great, fresh and crispy. They have your standard burger menu, bacon, double, triple, turkey and veggie. Great selection on there menu, shakes, chicken, and hot dogs. Food is made to order, so its fresh every time. Always great customer service.
Place is kind of small but has lots of seating. Prices are average and well worth it!
