We LOVE the Fork and Anchor! Owners and staff couldnt be nicer. Food yummy, coffee really good and the Breakfast Burrito one of the best all time sandwiches anywhere. They have perfect selection of groceries too.

Truly delicious bacon, egg, and cheese. I stopped here on the way to the ferry. It’s a quaint general store, with a little bit of everything, with a large proportion of local goods. There was one chef in the kitchen so if it’s busy, your order may take a while. Luckily I did not wait long. The person ahead of me ordered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and had to come back in the store because they had forgotten to put jelly on it… but they fixed it right away. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and helpful. I would definitely cone back here when I’m out here!

On a hunt for a Browder’s bird we called Fork and Anchor, who not only saved the frozen local bird for us but set it out to defrost in water until we came! It was such a small gesture but meant so much to us and set the stage for the kind of small town feel we were looking for. The owner Erin, knew a lot about the wine country and advised us to visit a nearby winery that was absolutely breathtaking. Pleasant and knowledgable. I’m definitely coming back to Fork and Anchor.

This is exactly what you would expect and want in a country store in the North Fork. It was adorable and the staff was friendly. The coffee was good as was my croissant and very reasonably priced. I would add it in as a quick pit stop.

The look like a great quaint local deli. Ordered 3 sandwiches to go for our wine tasting outing. They didn’t get any of the right and all the breads were stale. Stay away. They are over priced and have poor service.

I used the Fork & Anchor to cater a picnic lunch at Osprey’s Dominion winery last weekend for a 12 person bachelorette party, and it was perfect. I worked with Erin a few days beforehand to pick out a menu and get pricing, and everything was ready for me when I stopped in to pick it up before heading to the winery. Erin was just as sweet in person as she was on the phone. We had the amazing green goddess chicken salad, the kale pesto pasta, a fennel salad, a bean salad, an arugula salad, cheese, bread and Tate’s cookies — OMG everything was perfect. Our group raved about the food for the rest of the trip!

This is a cute little roadside deli which is apparently very popular with the locals. Go in and order a yummy sandwich and try one of the Boylan natural sodas which are delicious. The staff was friendly and the sandwiches are large and delicious. Try the green goddess chicken salad sandwich. It is very good.

Planning on wine touring in the North Fork? The Fork & Anchor is a great place to grab a picnic lunch and some snacks for the day! We did just this on the first day of our weekend, and liked it so much we went back on day 2. They’re open early enough to grab a breakfast sandwich if you want also(we were at a B&B, so didn’t get to sample any of these options). We did get to try a few different sandwiches though… The turkey club is very well put together & I highly recommend the addition of basil mayo. The turkey sandwich w/VT cheddar & apple chutney tastes like Thanksgiving on bread. And for a pretty great warm option, the roast beef w/caramelized onion & melted provolone. All are recommended… great serving size(in fact, w/some chips on the side, it’s very easy to only need half a sandwich!). Huge bonus, for us anyway, gluten free bread available. And it’s not small slices of frozen cardboard… it’s actually quite good. They’ve got some other snacks around, GF& not, and a cooler w/some drinks. I did grab a coffee on our way out of town too, and it was definitely enjoyable. OK, so that’s all good right? So 3 stars? Well, the only con I noted, and the reason it’s not a 4 star review… Day 2, we ordered one sandwich to share, and found out when we opened it for lunch(a couple hours later) that it was not on GF bread. So, no lunch that day. Really impacted our afternoon(since we were in the midst of wine touring & needed food). When we called, they offered to replace it w/o a problem, but it was a 20 minute drive out of our way at that point. We brought it in the next morning, and they replaced it w/o any issue… but didn’t really seem to care too much about our experience. Didn’t even comp the coffee for our inconvenience. I’ll go back, but I’ll check every sandwich I order.

I have found that the Fork and Anchor(Erin and Lucy) has been a lifesaver for our guests and me. The range of products that they carry is enormous for a convenience store. This is more like an old fashioned general store with a modern twist. We are glad that they have continued and expanded what they offer over Angels that was there before. I have enjoyed their soups, sandwiches and my favorite Snapple which they have ordered for me and keep a special supply. my guests have been able to get emergency supplies of toiletries that they needed. I have found them to be friendly, courteous and accommodating and I am Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Nothing beats the Fork and Anchor — delicious, friendly efficient service, and an amazing selection of food and groceries you didn’t even know you wanted. Their bfast sandwiches are wonderful, don’t miss their special Bacon, Egg, Lettuce and Tomato.

We worked with one of the owners, Erin to order Fork & Anchor’s picnic boxes for a vineyard picnic on the day after our wedding. Erin was wonderful to work with and our guests loved the picnic boxes. The boxes were adorable and the food was delicious, gourmet, and plentiful. Thanks Fork & Anchor!

Wow — what an amazing chicken sandwich(#1). I recommend it with avocado. And the egg sandwiches are also great. It’s also a grocery store and carries most of what you need for your visit to the NoFo.

I really don’t get why you people rave about this place I live locally in the area and every time I order a sandwich it’s made wrong, stuff is missing from it and they are way overpriced not to mention you get to wait 20 Min’s plus for your terrible sandwich hope this tip helps

We were driving back from the Orient Point ferry and all three of us spotted this from the corner of our eye, made a u-turn and immediately parked to go in this adorable spot. Loved their logo — so fun and cute. Absolutely adored this place. The nicest staff ever, so friendly and helpful. My friend ordered potato salad, they didn’t have it made and offered to make it within five minutes. My friend said it was one of the best potato salads she’s ever had. I had the kale quinoa salad that was perfect along with the veggie wrap which was also perfect. Such a nice size sandwich instead of some dingy little sandwich. The place was so well kept with amazing options of veggie, vegan, gluten free, and regular options. Anywhere with Tate’s Cookies makes me happy. I can’t wait to go back here one day.

Fantastic quick lunch spot to grab some delicious sandwiches and GO! They make a mean cold brew of iced coffee, too. There are some sophisticated palates behind the menu for sure.

My family vacationed in this area and if it weren’t for fork and anchor, I don’t know what we would have done! We stopped by at least once a day for something. Hands down the best«convenient» store I’ve ever been to. But it is so much more! Yes they have the basics, but also have lots of local and healthy options. They even have a nice selection of veggies(and eggs) from the local farms. Also great finds like espadrilles from France and delicious local homemade ice cream. They also serve delicious sandwiches and make a nice fresh Arnold Palmer. For the locals, they have started a CSA too. And to top it off, we had the pleasure of being with the owners, Lucy and Erin. Absolutely delightful and I love supporting women owned businesses. If you’re a local or visitor, fork and anchor is a must!
