This is my favorite place to eat cemitas because the cookers make them so good. The only thing that I don’t like is the amount of meat that they put in your cemita. they put a decent amount of meat but not as much as other places put in your cemita. Overall this would be a 5 star restaurant if they would increase the amount of meat, but the cemitas are delicious.

Another stop on my cemitas tour brings me to Cemitas Poblanas El Zarape a small dark restaurant on the strip of Whittier blvd amongst what seems to be cemitas paradise, I’ve not seen so many cemitas places in such a small area. This little place has a nice size selection of cemitas but again I opted for the milanesa, which is probably the biggest seller. Cemita de Milanesa — As you can see by the photo the bread is cracking quite a bit, I thought it was too dry and starting to harden slightly so probably not fresh which I did not like, the milanesa itself was good though the size itself was a little smaller than other places there was plenty of avocado slices, cheese * El Mexicano Brand,(«Casero» Queso Fresco) is used here, and I asked for jalapenos & salsa it was a good thing as it helped out the dry bread I’d give them 3.5 Stars IF the bread was there but as it was 3 Stars and a A OK Camita Remember a Cemita is NOT a Torta
