I am giving them 3 stars because the staff is really nice and very sweet to my son. But they hardly ever have the cases of similac that i need and if they do its in the back. So i have to find someone to go get it for me. Why cant they just order more and stock it on the shelves?! Sometimes i end up going over to toys r us to get the formula which is ridiculous. Also they are usually pretty low on diapers. I don’t go there for clothes which they have a ton of. I go for food and diapers! Get it together people!

When you bring a little one into this world your priorities change. Weekends are spent at baby focused locations. We received numerous gift cards to BRU. So we had no choice to check it out. Staff is very helpful and their products match(price & quality) of Buy Buy Baby. Although the monitor we purchased was on sale for a certain price and at BBB that was the normal price. Diapers and formula are on the higher end but not by much. The benefit to BRU is they offer a rewards option and you can use the gift cards at Toys R Us. Parking was easy but I can see it being a bit of pain on the weekends. Check out was quick. They do try to sell you on a warranty like option which if you do the math might make sense.

I NEVER rate stores. My belief is that tthey all should be striving for 5 stars because of the amount of competition. I bought my sons entire crib and bedroom set there and returned it 3 times. First I bought one. Then I bought one I didn’t like. For the inconvenience of all the deliveries they gave me their most expensive set for the cheap set price. Never complaining or giving me a bit of attitude. I put them through hell, and they made me the happiest customer of any store I’ve ever visited. For this reason I’ve been a loyal customer even living 30 min away for 2 years. Thank you to the furniture department especially.

Here’s the deal: Go in knowing what you need and expect to be on your own. The store is nice and they have great products. But it’s just like Toys R Us or Walmart — they are understaffed and the staff they have knows little. If you ask them if they have something and they say«no», just go look yourself — you have a 50⁄50 chance of finding it.

I was hesitant about registering at babies r us for our baby registry because I have heard very mixed things about the difficulty of returning items. I don’t know if its just this particular babies r us store but my husband and I have found our experience here on several occasions very positive– even when we had some difficult or complicated returns. The employees were always helpful and friendly. They also had good tips on how to save money as well.

3.5 stars Parking is a bit frustrating. They have solid deals on baby and young child goods. Especially their store brand. A great place to buy diapers and formula in bulk. I don’t recommend their furniture. Pretty shoddy construction and craftsmanship. Not built to last. Tremendous selection of strollers, toys, monitors, baby-proofing items, etc. This particular location is easy to get to on a west bound approach, but the east bound u-turns can be tricky and congested. Always a slow checkout process as well.

Yeah, I went from reviewing bars to baby stores. Needless to say, Babies R Us has become the new Home Depot for me on the weekend since moving to the ‘burbs. Sigh. But they’re actually really good — the prices are a little bit higher than a Buy Buy Baby or other retailer(for formula, diapers, etc.) but they have a rewards program and take back everything, new or used, rarely with any questions asked. You can use your coupons(and competitors coupons), but they restrict a lot, so ask them to override if you’re making a big purchase or have your registry there. The people have always been really kind and helpful, guiding us first-time parents in the right direction. The amount of crap my kid needs as a newborn is unheard of, but BRU helps take some of the guess work out of it all without much hassle.

Who knew babies needed a warehouse full of crap? Although, here’s my thinking. I figure one Trish = 6 – 8 babies. My logic? It would take 6 – 8 babies to take me down in a fight. Where am I going with this? If I have a lot of stuff. and I’m made up of 6 – 8 babies. then they’d need a lot of stuff too. AmIRight? This is the first Babies«R» Us I’ve walked into. It’s just so weird because The«R» Us folks pretty much have a handle on my life. I still went to Toys«R» Us when I was in high school(yeah, I’ve watched Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead one too many times) but there was that lull of about 4 – 5 years where I had nothing to do with them. Now my friends are popping babies out like a popcorn machine at AMC, so now I’m back. This time for babies. but then they get ya again when those babies grow up and need toys. IT’S A VICIOUSCYCLE! ENDRANT But seriously. The store. For the most part, everything is nicely arranged. I feel as though they are a bit understaffed because the lines can sometimes be long(ya know, the one cashier that’s in returns taking everyone). It took me forever to get someone to help me find a stroller that was on a baby registry. Speaking of registries, no one was hanging out at the front desk to advise me either. I wanted to buy the best gift on the list, but I was unsure if a Jeep high tech stroller was more useful/cool than a vaporizer. My brain froze so I just picked up some Winnie the Pooh jammies and some«Baby on Board» decals. I used to joy ride around with my friend that was having the baby and we always figured people with the BoB decals could get away with most anything. Perfect gift. I’m no expert on baby goods’ pricing, but this place seemed reasonable for a «recent» grad like me. Plus there aren’t many locally owned baby shops in this area. so what else is a girl to do?
