I need to start off by saying that I come to this ruby Tuesday’s often I like the food. I also go to another one in Johnston as well. Today my mom and I went to this location, after winning a lot of money at Foxwoods to celebrate. We were a bit early for dinner but we were hungry having not eaten a lot all day so we got their at around 420pm. BIG mistake! Apparently either 4pm was the shift change or 430 was. I work at a restaurant and it didn’t take me long to figure out what was up. My mom and I waited at the door to be seated for 3minutes the bartender came over and told us she was gonna go get a hostess. A girl came from a group of other workers at a back booth where they were chatting. We got seated and settled down. … We decided what we wanted and closed our menus. We sat and watched employees walk back and forth getting ready for shift getting their own sodas and drinks. The girl who sat us seemed to realize we were waiting and kept going back into the kitchen. Apparently there wasn’t a server for us? Or they didn’t want to start their shift until exactly 430? A couple came in and got sat in the same area as my mom and I(2 seats behind us). They waited about 2 minutes and a male waiter came out walked right PASSED my mom and I and greeted the couple. I decided enough was enough and we left! The«hostess» mumbled sorry when we walked out the door. So in all we really only waited for 10 minutes, however we did not even get greeted by our server whoever it was suppose to be. Not even given any waters. The waiter that walked by us either was not our waiter or was and was not told which table came in first. This restaurant has some serious issues! And the hostess? A hostess should be standing at the front ready to seat people as soon as her shift ends or up until the next hostess is ready to take over, their should be no time where the hostess stand is left unattended. It was disappointing because we really like their food. I dnt think I can bring myself to go here for a long while. My mom and I went to Applebee’s up the street and had a wonderful server!

On on way to our booth the first thing i noticed was all the crayons, shredded cheese and copious amounts of random food bits on the floor under a booth where clearly children sat… I get it kids make a mess… Now Im sure it’s someones job to make sure accidents like this are cleaned up. The place was pretty empty. Then apon arrival to our booth that was one booth away from the kids table, there was also a noticeable amount of food scraps on the floor, then to close the deal was a greasy hand print on my soon to be butt cushion. Oh thats right this is why i don’t go to chain restaurants… overall the service was good, nice and friendly n got us everything we needed it was just OK over all though.

The things I really like about Ruby Tuesday: The salad bar, and the coupons they email when you sign up. This is a nice restaurant, with mainly booths, which I like. The menu is pretty standard for a chain restaurant, and the salad bar includes the standard salad fixings plus different types of lettuces, peas, beans, egg, croutons, lots of dressing choices and some pre-made salads like potato. I mostly frequent the location on Rt. 1 in Attleboro, MA and Division St. in East Greenwich, RI. On our most recent visit, we used a coupon for a free cheese burger with the purchase of an entrée. That was a frugal dinner! We come here with friends and on a week night when we are just too tired to cook! It’s one of those places, where ever I may travel, I know that salad bar will be waiting for me in a comfy booth with a cold beverage.

Ruby Tuesday is a decent restaurant with decent food. Nothing to write home about, but par for the course. The salad bar is a nice option here and the ambience is great. The manager tends to come around and make sure that people are content(at least from my experience here). The ribs are great here but I have one problem with them… they are a pain to get off the bone compared to other places. Burgerwise this place is pretty good as well. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to go here on a regular basis but when in the area, I stop in every now and again.

Ruby Tuesday restaurant used to be a real favorite of mine as the salad bar was so fantastic. Vegetables and fruits were plentiful and very fresh. My visit last week was ok but not as good I expected. It has been a number of years since they omitted the fruit from the salad bar and that was such a nice addition to the salad. Another favorite which is no longer available are the delicious zucchini sliders. So now the choice is a salad bar with sides of more veggies(with too much salt) which is fine but not always desirable; the sliders complimented the salad bar beautifully. Also, the small oval dishes do not really allow one to make a salad without some of it falling off the plate. The large dinner dishes which were previously used made it easier to toss one’s salad. A few years ago, Ruby Tuesday had added a nice touch, that of bringing to the table one cheese biscuit per person. Now, I have to ask for this item so that I can enjoy just 1 with my salad. That is upsetting and not at all inviting.

Service was TERRIBLE. Been here many times, no problems. Sat in the lounge where you can seat yourself, after telling hostess. Sat for 8 minutes with no one to greet us or take order. Many waiters walking by table. Finally go to bar and ask bartender if we’re in a closed area. He says if we want to sit at bar he can help us. however we choose to stay at table because we’d feel more comfortable there eating salads from salad bar. So he tells us to go to the salad bar and he’ll alert our waiter and he’ll be there when we return. Didn’t happen, so finally the bartender comes over and mentions he’ll take our drink order, waiter is too slow. When we order coffee, he tells us it may not be fresh, if we’d like a second drink choice. Really?, did it ever occur to have someone brew a fresh pot? We never get a waiter. When we return from getting seconds at the salad bar, our plates have not been cleared, and no drink refills. Finally the bartender comes over and I ask if we will get a waiter. He states that corporate rules are that waiters cannot take on more than 4 tables at a time and that they’re at max; the hostess should have asked us to wait at the entrance for a table. So we look around and there are at least 6 booths empty ?? What would have happened if the restUrant was full? Should rethink policies, BAD service, really unsatisfied. No apologies from anyone, manager never came bye our table. At least the bartender tried to help, kudos to Nate.

My friend and I decided to go to Ruby Tuesday for my birthday today, I ended up with a free slice of chocolate cake and a free burger it was delicious. Also the waitress was very friendly and polite I will be going back again I really had a great time and a great night. I forgot to ask the name of the waitress, because I was too busy enjoying my dinner.

The salmon salad I was very good, but one of the people I was with ordered the salad bar for his meal and he complained to me saying whoever made the salad put way too much cheese on it. He ate it anyways, but wasn’t satisfied. Then I realized that it was a salad bar and he had created the salad himself

Food was good, salad bar was great but poorly stocked, but service was terrible… Literally waited longer for more water than we did for our dinners to be cooked. Too bad. Will likely return since there aren’t other salad bar options locally but overall a disappointment.

The salad bar had not been replenished in a while. Many empty items. The food finally came and the chicken fingers were burned and the waitress got the other entrée completely wrong.

Honestly, the food was good, but nothing extraordinary. However, my card was charged for both our bill, and another on Tuesday(4⁄15), both of which placed separate holds on my bank account. Upon calling the manager yesterday(4⁄16), I was promised an investigation and a call back to inform me what was going to happen in this situation: more than 24 hours later, our actual charge has been processed, but the hold is still on my account for the other, unknown, substantial charge, and there has been no call from the manager or any Ruby Tuesdays staff. If they had offered me something for the erroneous, illegal charge and/or kept me up to date, I would not be writing this review. As it stands, I will not go there again, there are plenty of local alternatives.

Good food as always. However our seating was less than perfect. Right near the door they use for to go. Freezing wind every time the door was opened. Should not sit people at this table in the winter.

For a chain restaurant this location does pretty well for itself. I have dined in and have taken out and each time have been satisfied. This location keeps the salad bar stocked and clean and the service is friendly and quick. I do feel like the prices are a little high for the quality of the food but it is a place you can go where everyone will be able to find something to eat. The combos are the best deal, a small meal with unlimited salad bar in my opinion is the way to go. They will also make combos that are no longer on the menu, like a loaded baked potato with the salad bar.

We went there for dinner Saturday night. I ordered the chicken fresco and my wife had the mini burgers. The chicken breast was the smallest chicken breast I ever seen. It was very dry and over cooked. Part of it was so hard I couldn’t eat it. The mini burgers made a McDonalds burger look gourmet. Very small, and cooked until it was black. Really I would be ashamed to cook something like this and serve it. The salad bar was very good and if we hadn’t had that we would have left hungry. The menu is lacking and needs some good home-style choices.

For some reason, I just like Ruby Tuesdays. I think mainly because of the salad bar. I remember when everyone had one, to include Wendy’s. Anyway, I like the atmosphere which is casual, but a little more upscale then TGIF. The food is really good. We have not been disappointed with anything to date, knock on wood. The service is great, glasses do not go empty. And the prices are in line. You can even find coupons on the odd occasions in the weekly mailers. So if you are a fence sitter, that might help reduce the anxioty.

Where do i start with this place? We came here after receiving a gift certificate(I prefer to local spots). The place was relatively empty and there seemed to be plenty of staff. In fact, there might have been 2 managers. The food was prepared super fast and i wasn’t hating that. Fish tacos, lobster mac and cheese and prime bacon cheddar burger. All in all, the service was just ok, the food was mediocre, bland and therefore overpriced.

Despite being majorly ignored when we entered, once we finally got seated our server turned the experience around. I can’t say the food was great, but it wasn’t the absolute worst either. I wasn’t really expecting much when we came here, and that would be pretty much how I’d describe it.

I took my kids for lunch. The server was creepy and a total douche. I had to take my daughter into the bathroom to use the diaper changing station which was TOTALLYDISCUSTING, I mean SICKENING. It had caked on grime and crude on it. THis on top of a bathroom that stunk so bad like rotting crap. I come back to the table to see the server passing off our bread over the divider to my 9 year old son instead of walking around to the table(UMMMHELLO). We started with the shrimp fondue which was very very good. I wish I would have ordered that as my entrée. I had the zuchinni cake minis lunch with salad bar. The salad bar looked like it was mostly old and left over from the previous day but it was still better than my actual entrée. the zuchinni cake minis were mushy and the buns were soggy. I took 2 bites and had to push it away. The fries were dark brown and hard. WHen I told the server I didnt like it, he said, «oh you didn’t?» and walked away.(still had to pay for it) My younger son had the childrens pasta and said it was great and ate it all. My older son had the bacon cheeseburger lunch and his fries looked like mine did. He said his burger was«ok» but the bottom bun was very wet and soggy. he ate it all though. Overall. this place sucks.

Usually I go to Ruby’s when I’m in the mood for burger. They rock a great burger. Tonight I wanted to try something else, so I indulged in 2 appetizers. The new Baja chicken Taco was fabulous. Very flavorful. As was the Asian Dumpling. I had a flavor explosion tonight.

While I certainly don’t discriminate chain operated restaurants, at all, I’ve found a disturbing trend among«family friendly» steakhouses: they suck. Hard. Chili’s? S’ok. Applebees? Bland. Uno’s? Decent but overpriced. Outback? Sends me straight to the outhouse. Fridays? …Where’d the rest of the portion go? With the exception of Garfield’s(which I left back in PA), I can’t say I’d honestly do back flips for any of them. Sure, if work/friends/whoever is picking up the tab, no complaints here but otherwise, I’m more likely to hit Newport Creamery or Papa Gino’s for better value. Ruby Tuesday however, rocks. A frequent diner at this location in particular, I really appreciate how fresh, well priced and diverse their menu is. Unlike the others, Ruby’s actually tries to present interesting side dishes and appetizers aside from the typical norm. Their grilled green beans are seriously delicious with just the perfect amount of flavour: I try to order these with every entrée. They’re that good. I also love their Asian pot stickers. Served on a bed of greens with peanut sauce, they’re always fried to perfection and never overdone. Their steak and ribs? Awesome. My main gripe with most eateries, especially regarding steak, is that there’s a certain texture in the meat that just seems. artificial. Yes, it’s real beef but the quality and chew is more like something you’d get at McDonald’s than a steak house. The seasonings are usually minimal, probably not to offend sensitive diners or to better appeal to the masses. Ruby’s goes a step beyond this and actually seasons their meat. Yup. Not just a sprinkle of pepper and loads of salt but actual seasoning. The meat is just, melt in your mouth cloud 9, like something I made myself from House o’ Marlena. Charlie can’t get enough of the Asian sesame ribs which are fall-off-the-bone perfection. They also have a fantastic drink menu, fresh, healthy salad bar and delicious desserts. The staff are also consistently on time and I’ve never had to excessively wait for a meal even on a Friday or weekend night. The prices are very affordable and reasonable plus the garlic cheese crumbles(on the house) are lip smackin tasty. I honestly recommend Ruby’s: I can guarantee there’s something on the menu for everyone.
