Pro: The area that Oregano is located is a little sparse for any retail, so to have a little restaurant in the area is quite a benefit. I was glad to see this place when it opened, finally a convenient place to get fast food. And there mix is very interesting: American, Italian, Latin and Indian. Cons: However, note that the food it just that, typical fast food. The quality is so-so, but great when you are hungry and don’t feel like cooking. I’ve noted several times in the few years they’ve been open, that they are not open for breakfast, even though they advertise so. I’ve tried several times, anywhere from 7am to 11am, but they are never open in the morning. I’ve also noted the same as the reviewer Karla. There is a group of men who hang out there drinking and their behavior is intimidating. And they staff ignores it. After a few times of trying to order take out,(not even eating in!) I felt so harassed and uncomfortable, that I don’t feel I can go there anymore.

I’ve actually have ate food from here three or four times and I thought it was great but just a bit greasy. The food is okay, it’s a great place to order from when your really lazy to cook yourself lunch.

The setting is alright. couple of tables and chairs. Convenience is awesome — you can get your meal(with great variety I should add), some groceries, and play a little lotto all in one place. I had the gyro special(gyro + fries + canned soda) for like $ 7.00 and it was pretty good.

I, being a pizza fanatic, had to try this place out. I’ve had pizza here almost 4 times. And my overall average perspective of their business is one star. Here are my reasons why… (FYI: This pizza location also has a lotto machine) 1) Their pizza is simply not well made. In the course of two years, the last two times I was here, I remarked the same thing. tastes like cheap cheese on overcooked bread with too much crust on top. 2) Their employees are unprofessional. I walked in last night to simply buy a lotto and one of the employees kept mumbling to me «Hey girl. talk to me. hey». etc, while I was filling out my numbers. I was taken back by it and ignored the man, paid and left. This was not my first time feeling uncomfortably hit-on at this location. The last time I came here to eat a pizza the pizza man making the pizza(in the back), kept trying to approach me as well. Annoying. That is why I only walked in for a lotto last night and not a lotto + a pizza. And again they were unprofessional and disrespectful. 3) The owners are rather cold. I believe it is a family business and the amount of investment they have made on the place is noticeable. nice tables and looks like they have an ample amount of space for making all their products. BUT their pizza doesn’t taste at the vary least edible and the employee(s), serving and making their products are indecent, disrespectful, and have other things in mind other then minding their job. I have had dollar pizza’s(that taste pretty darn good for one dollar) from a hole in the wall pizza shop in the city with respectable workers and owners. Dollar pizzas for goodness sake. Its not all about money. Where are the ethics in this business? Good pizza and manners have completely flown out the window for this pizza business.

Pizza AND fried chicken? yesss. I was driving home, saw this place, did a double take, and decided immediately to pull over and try this place. I got the fried chicken and a chicken roll. The first was a little bit of a let down but the chicken roll was really good. The fried chicken was hanging out under some heat lamps and looked a little sad. It was tasty but super dry. I imagine it would have been a lot better four hours before I got there. The chicken roll was surprisingly awesome. I didn’t try the pizza, but if the chicken roll was any indication, it can’t be bad. This place is kind of off the beaten path, so I’ll probably be sticking to delivery in the future. And I probably won’t be trying the chicken again. Bonus! — this place also sells lotto scratch-offs! Hopefully they deliver those too!
